  1. Good thing i have literally zero filming/editing experience then!
  2. How high quality does the video need to be? i'm not sure how good quality the camera i have is.
  3. I'm currently working on my first MOC, a Ride-on Lawn mower (sound rather boring now that i think about it). It has 4 motors: 1 XL for drive. 1 Servo for steering. 1 M motor for blades. 1 M motor for Dumping open the grass catcher. Pictures: Close-up of blades and underside: Seat, steering wheel and some control sticks for detail. 3/4 view and close-up of rear. The back is unfinished as i try to figure out a grass catcher and dumper.
  4. I like the new outrigger design i think ill buy some separately and replace the 42009 ones if i can, and its turntable too.
  5. What kind does this truck have in real life? the model should be replicating that, should it not? im fine with the suspended pendular axle.
  6. Given what (admittedly little) know about toy design 2016s flagship is likely already planned and given the current schedule it will be most likely be RC, however 2017 could still be far enough for our suggestions to carry some weight, but it will probably not be RC, i still agree with others that there should be some kind of UCS type set with loads of parts and functions.
  7. This discussion kinda hits home for me, its fire season where i live, and fire planes go overhead alot and there are some pretty bad fires in my area.
  8. Did they do anything for 30th, 20th or even 10th? what makes this anniversary any different? not that i don't want anything though, a special huge flagship would be great.
  9. i thought sariel's wheel loader used only one compressor motor, how did he do it? i might go check again actually.
  10. Call me crazy, but that bush in the diff effectively makes it worthless, am i right?
  11. Can anyone show me a dual pump setup? i would like to practice on my unimog.
  12. WOW! i think i love it, it seems to be able to drive, is an L motor powerful enough? but ignoring its likely huge gear reduction... I WANNA BUILD IT SO BADLY!!!
  13. I wanna do Sheepo's Land Rover, getting the parts together is a bit annoying though, i should buy the manual to help plan the build.
  14. yeah it kinda hurts the eyes, took me a full minute of staring to figure out they were lifting each other.
  15. Good luck with it! i was interested on working on one of these for my first fiction-inspired MOC but never thought of how to do the steering, well i still call dibs on the Dune Hopper from Jak 3.
  16. I had a quick question about that render, why does the L motor look so strange? Sorry if i sound stupid or something.
  17. WOW the 42030 was $249 USD? it retails at $359 AUD... i got mine for a bit less but still, that's ridiculous,
  18. at will likely cost much more in Australia... its rare a set will be less than 10 parts per dollar.
  19. i'm just gonna make it in black (probably) not for a while though, i still have a lot of parts to track down, i suppose that does not help you much, sorry. i really need to buy the instructions so i can plan the build, come to think of it.
  20. The Unimog was my first truly difficult build, mostly because of the air hoses and it was my first gearbox, though not a hugely complicated one, 42009 had a very large amount of gears, made the instructions a little hard to follow, and that pointlessly long axle...
  21. Something like this next? Also that music is really familiar, now i have to go figure out where i heard it...
  22. Are those cylinders red? i thought they only came in yellow did you paint them?
  23. I could not say, they both have pluses and minuses, but in regards to representing machinery (the purpose of Technic, arguably) pneumatics are closer to hydraulics for realism purposes.
  24. I saw an 8275 for $1200 AUD once WHY?, i'm sure i could get most of the important parts for less than 200, why would i bother with $1200 (about four recent flagship sets) just because its new?
