If one were to transfer the 4th ship he bought (1.5x price), and for the player recieving the ship it would also be the 4th ship, would the recieving player have to pay extra to use said ship?

I'm not sure why, but I must say I find those doors absulutely fascinating. Open them and they close other doors, and the other way around. I can't think of a good wording, but I think its fantastic (have I noted that I get stuck on random details often?). The other parts of the build are great too, especially the facade, but the left sidewall could use some more decoration. Maybe some proper leaves instead of green plates? For the other parts - I'm going to quickly mention the typical apples and not start repeating others ;) Great build!

Yay, some noticable improvements have happened! The Quote button has been moved (I think the new position is so much better for just reading through a topic) and the mobile version is finally working properly! Great work, all you admins !

You don't have to agree, it was the only way to calm the crowd:P I found that piece looking for tools that the crowd could hold, and found it well fitting (I just noticed the guy with the fish is only barely visible in the corners - too bad:P There has been trade between our nations, it shouldn't surprise you that one of your inventions has found its way into Eslandolan Colonies:D Thanks!

A few minutes after the message that all soldiers would be ordered to Granoleon by King Fernando, everyone in Fuerte Unido was on the streets. Almost noone appeared to be excited about it, there even appeared a very odd recreation of King Fernando. It had apparently found its way into the settlement inside one of the many boxes of building material that had been moved from the ships onto land. Just the day before the message arrived another ship had arrived delivering many goods - even an Guillotine from Oleon had been on board. Considering the circumstances a decision was quickly made to get the crowd to calm down a bit and show support of the crowds opinion. Those carrying the recreation of the king quickly brought him over to the platform... ...and fluently moved him up onto the platform. It might be possible they had heard rumours about this and had trained for exactly this situation. They placed it in the Guillotine... ...And the executioner was given his first order since he had arrived here. *TSHACK* And the crowd was happy again. These soldiers (most of which were protesting already) are not leaving! Considering that this is educating the masses of the effectiveness of a guillotine I'll license this as a small Education build:P

October 616 - Eslandola's Escorted Trade Runs

The Wringe II will join Double Duty. -
A few days ago I licensed a Company (30 men) as Fuerte Unido and stationed it there, but it didn't subtract the DB for said troops.

What I feel like need mentioning - showing the results as plain text is quite helpful, especially if you don't want to scan screenshots for your ships. I think it would be great if that can be used again for the next MRCA result, but maybe with a small change, in the way that you simply paste a table (I'm guessing the results are written down in a table somewhere): Faction Available Funds Corrington 5,487 Eslandola 5,238 Oleon 7,691 Sea Rats 2,292 (I just copy pasted a part of the October summary to show that this works). Would make the presentation a whole lot more readable and still searchable.

@dr_spock I actually observed some oddities with that button - I have it in every conversation without any special rank. Not that I mind, it has been quite useful for 1 or 2 bigger PM threads where we needed to add people and no one was available to do so. I've heard from some others of higher ranks (Grand Duke for example) that they can't seem to add people to bigger PMs.

Legostone Pride of Elysabethtown – Result: Battered by winds and waves, sank to the bottom like a weighted stone. Outswam a pirate. By swimming down, no pirate dares to do that! Well, I'm a bit disappointed after waiting this long. Well, there is always a next time and in total there is still some profit, even after losses.

Here you go! There should be around 11 licensed properties already!

The Eslandolan Settlement Fuerte Unido is missing. Edit: The Settlement page seems messed up

You mean like... Algae? Off course there would be remains of red flags...

[COR-Ch4B] Plundering the treasure fleet!
Legostone replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
While I think most that can be said about these ships has been said by Bregir and others already, I have to add something (besides that these are generally great ships): Why is the bowsprit on the Galleon like that? It looks great on the pirate ship, but the one on the Galleon just looks weird, going in and out and everything... Oh, and have I already said that the colourscheme on the pirates ship looks great? I need to get myself some dark green bricks... Also, that boarding action and crew is great (So many great ideas for the Eslandolan torsos)! -
Nah, they are just blind pirates now:D Hm, that could be a solution indeed, I'll look into that with my next cloth-sail-ship. Hm, can we go back into PMs for that topic? I would like to see your plan there... Well, technically I could, but I feel like the bow would look very vertical and I would need a bunch more wing plates in white for the stern.
-
Oh yeah, I was hoping nobody would notice them... I believe they are there because I didn't have more brown 2x1x2 slopes, so I had to use 2x1x3 slopes instead and the lower part of the stern got too long. They annoy me too, but I can't get rid of them without changing the lower part of the stern drastically. And now that you mention that part with the hull, now it is gonna annoy me too. Damn you! Thanks! The sails - I had just finished building Nuestra El Rojo La Oscurida, La Raya Venenosa and the Dark Spirit and remembered that I still had this one sitting there, for 2 months without sails. These sails on this one are really low effort compared to all (!) of my other ships - they literally took 20 minutes total, I might redo them at some point. Thanks! I really like experimenting with the different hull techniques (although I'm currently favouring my Sebeus-Kabel-Dunkleosteus-Kurigan hybrid hulls(lets make that a name). And hey, just building the same ship every time would be boring (although I would guess one could improve quickly that way...)
-
Thanks! Well, they decided to attack first:P Thanks! There is a reason the big pirate boss didn't trust these guys with more than just a small cutter...:D (Or, better say, there wasn't much more space - the frigate takes a big part of the 80x48 plot, there wouldn't have been enough space for 2 full sized ships (except if the bowsprits overhang 20 studs or (what I actually considered trying) the 48x80 rectangle being vertical...). I wish I would dar to do that - I always fear that I realise something is slightly wrong after doing it and I can't fix it anymore (especially for these sails - at ~25 minutes a sail I don't want to redo one because I made a small mistake while cutting...). Yeah, that annoyed me too, but the cutter is just too small to work something into there. But oh well, it isn't like I want to keep it... Yeah, low riding ships is indeed a problem I see too with my technique here - but I can't really solve it without buying more plates (as the entire lower section consists out a of a bunch of plates), and that would be way to expensive... I guess it has to be a compromise.

First time scrolling down: Wait, a class 6A Brig? That seems odd. And then I saw the mast placement and Mortars (That's a good use for those buckets btw) and suddenly it made sense. Great Rigging, and am I seeing it right? Is there a Dragon headfigure? :D Oh, and you seem to be missing a black 1x8 plate on your portside towards the bow:P
-
Yeah, the Esmeralda is indeed a bit smoother - this one is a bit to short in the middle I think... The string not sticking out in this one was easy - no string in the sails. I don't want to make my sails useless by cutting of too much, and am still scared about doing it. But I dare to say that the rigging of my ships since the Green Winds (my bigger Schooner) has been quite solid. If the weather tomorrow is good I may try to take pictures of all my ships that are currently build up to show that again. ...And I thought these were some of my worst sails... I'm sorry. At least your ships are playable:D Thanks! Thanks! From my giant boxes of Lego:D I hope enough of them survive the ride to Antwerpen...
