  1. New image of the Elves Sky Castle. Report via the Brick Fan. More images on are Atamaii Toys Flickr. http://www.thebrickf...mberg-toy-fair/ EDIT: Did not realize Aanchir posted this first. Went on the forum and then got busy, all before he posted it. My mistake!
  2. Atamaii Toy Reporter has gotten into Nuremburg early and has shared some images on Flickr. A majority of them are Minecraft related, with Elves, Ninjago, and even some of the new Ultra Agents sprinkled in. Here's a report from The Brick Fan with images. http://www.thebrickf...mberg-toy-fair/ The Blaze looks pretty nice in my opinion! Also, for those of you who do not yet know (See image with the new figures) the one with the Orange head and sandgreen torso is the new Alex character. She was recently added in a update to the game. However she has been apart of the greater Minecraft Universe for awhile, appearing in Jinx's Minecraft page for the last few years. The wolf is also looking pretty good, with an exclusive head mold that includes its cute, little ears.
  3. The amount of those large 1x5x5 triangle slope thingamajigs are also different. 5 on the UCS, 3 on the new one. Which really just goes to show how large it still is. And a wedge plate on the side of the cockpit.
  4. Imo, the only reason why it is in that set, is because it's in another set. Being the Headless horseman set I mean. I don't know, LEGO likes making a new mold and then using it as much as they can. For example, Hawkeye's hair piece. Not 100% sure of course.
  5. Won't see those for a few months... Separate wave from this one.
  6. Not sure if this has been discussed before or not, but I found something somewhat interesting regarding the Final Duel set. It may be nothing but decided to share it anyway. https://www.behance.net/gallery/15329429/LEGO-Concepts Not the usual confidential images. Can't find a post date either. Of course I am on mobile and may not see certain things of the like. Edit: the woman, who apparently works for LEGO, has been a member of the site since March 2014.
  7. Considering we haven't seen a system scale set in awhile, it makes sense for them to make one. And also, LEGO play sets, or whatever you want to call them, are made for kids, and most kids probably don't have the previous version. The Episode 7 sets will be out in September, a month after we normally see the Summer line release. That's the new stuff, that's the next generation of Star Trek. uh, I mean Wars, Star Wars. Heh heh.
  8. I think the general term will still be Stormtrooper. Think of the Clone Troopers, while there are phase I and II Clones, we still refer to them as Clone Troopers. Specifying when necessary of course.
  9. Another thing we need to reconsider is inflation. Take for instance 6211, it cost 100 US in 2006. Change that to the United States current dollar value and you get about 120. Now consider the newest SD, 75055, costing 130 US. Even though those models differ significantly in size, they weigh roughly the same, 75055 weighting slightly more, according to Bricklink. Imo, the smaller models are better only because they make better usage of the pieces to create a sturdy, playable toy. Now of course there are exceptions, *cough*MTT*cough*, but generally it's for a good reason.
  10. Using a quick google search, it appears out of London, Nürnberg and New York: London is first, running from January 20-22. Nürnberg comes in second, running from January 28 to February 2. New York is last, running from February 14-17.
  11. I just find it hard to believe that Disney would allow the sets to be seen this February at the New York Toy Fair. As all main LEGO Summer releases are shown off there, I mean. Of course by the time of the Summer release season there's then the possibility that we will have seen what the sets contain in trailers, meaning the sets wouldn't be spoiling much at all. Anything's possible at this point, but with the Rebels sets being named Wolf and also these new ones; I think Wolf simply means, in general, a top-secret, under-the-wraps type of set. In a way I do hope this is the case, don't plan to pick up any Episode VII sets and this will keep 2015 a 'cheaper' year for myself, so to speak.
  12. One could assume so. It's missing from ToysRUs, Amazon, and Wal-Mart. Even before the pages got taken down entirely on Wal-Mart.
  13. It's probably just something or other about the unnamed source wanting to make sure everything is good before this is leaked. Just2good has been very reliable in the past, there's probably a reason why he can't release the info yet.
  14. They're not prototypes, he has the final set. It's sad because they already have printed legs for TIE pilots, albeit for OT stylized ones not rebels. However it's generic enough to have fit in. Unless that was sarcasm I missed, oops on my part then.
  15. Most likely a review on his YouTube channel.
  16. A more expensive set contains more pieces? *Sarcasm* I hope it contains at least 1800 pieces. Maybe the wings will be brick built..
  17. I've heard rumors of a new Falcon from LEGO Store Employees but I think it's just an inside joke really. We're probably going to see Cloud City as a UCS set or a collection of sets, I think it'll be the latter in my opinion. We may see a Y-Wing redo.. Maybe they'll start doing some smaller scale UCS sets like the Obi-Wan Starfighter of old because of all the other supposed UCS sets from this theme and others.
  18. Asajj Ventress looks about what one would expect from the Animated series. The new angle gives me a better idea on how they built the engines, common techniques as previously thought. If you live in the US ToysRUs still has Palpatine's Arrest on sale for $69.98, $20.01 off from the original retail price.
  19. Pleasant surprise for the Bad Cop Car Chase. They were going to be a day one buy anyway, but this just solidifies that.
  20. Oh my goodness, Emmet is hilarious. I like the Mummy MOC the most. I like the use of the mason bricks.
  21. Well, that would depend. If you're talking the normal LEGO system, such as a City, Star Wars, or Creator set, that would be 4501, the Mos Eisley Cantina. However, if DUPLO was included, it would be a Bob the Builder set that included the yellow guy and a Bob DUPLO fig.
  22. Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes. I always wanted the original Cloud City set, but it was too expensive at the time and my parents just couldn't justify it. When they make a new one, I believe one set should just be a entrance and landing bay, one large enough for the Slave I. Therefore also big enough to contain the current Falcon by itself.
  23. Purchased Anakin's Jedi Interceptor and Death Star Troopers. I'm looking at you next Mos Eisley...
  24. This is a case where I feel that the remake is significantly better than the last. A major downside of the new would be size, however they weight about the same. Infact 75055 is a few grams heavier than 6211, but I digress. With Jabba's Sail Barge I felt ripped off in a way, as stability was not an issue with the previous model. With this, not so much. I'ld prefer a larger ISD, but if it's stability over size, I prefer stability.
  25. I really like that 3X3 cross piece. I can foresee a great range of future uses for it. The set is quite cute and enjoy the large number of printed pieces to stickers. The set is nice to place on a large green baseplate to enchance playability. I liked how you went over every detail, even the small ones. I really liked it.
