If that was the case, I wonder how long LEGO would keep the theme running. Even if it was popular enough to become an Evergreen theme, I'm not sure LEGO would allow a second Sci-fi theme to dethrone/compete with Star Wars. Major difference with Doctor Who and Star Wars, is that I could see Doctor Who being more location-based. With Star Wars obviously having heavy vehicle influence. In that way, I don't think the two would crash heads very much.

If C-3PO happened, we'd have another case of Luke Syndrome. Being that, only one gold hand. Granted, to get it at all would be lovely-I just wish it'd appear as a pair. -

Certainly odd stuff indeed.. Maybe you should contact Customer service with pictures of the head? Be interesting to see what their responses might be!

Still hoping for a September 1st reveal, CM4Sci is quite reliable. (Joking, to clarify I don't mean any harm against him) I still think it has to be when the show's new season aires. Personally I think that's the best time. May come sooner than we think.

Wow, that's surprising. I didn't expect that to happen so soon! This certainly opens up the possibility of a more expanded view of the Ancient City.

Considering the sets were all passed off early concept art, this isn't the LEGO Group's fault. I'm sure that anyone who has bought Star Wars sets before probably has a blue lightsaber, so that's an option for you at the moment. According to rumors (won't get into detail as that should be reserved for the 2016 thread) That seems like the opportune time to include it.

The pieces already exist, I see no reason why this would delay an announcement. But this could be why the set is a December release, to avoid the rule.

Which set is the one you enjoyed building the most?

I think I'm going to go with the Ideas Exo-Suit. I don't know, it's combination of technic and system parts was quite good and I'm a sucker for anything mech-related, especially space mechs! Benny's Spaceship was also a entertaining build, so many different angles on this one. The wing mechanism was simple, but oh so effective. The flexible hoses were a nice little touch as well. Out of the two, I can't decide as I both enjoyed their builds for seperate reasons. The Exo suit for it's mix of system and technic and the Spaceship for it's nostalgic and somewhat simplistic build. -

As far as the build goes, it's pretty rock solid and can take some abuse. Fair warning, the stickers are pretty annoying to get on. Take your time and you'll be fine. Overall it's a fun little set with nice parts. You should definitely get it. Regarding what some think may be the D2C set, I'm not sure if Lego would do another large mansion as the last Halloween D2C was a mansion.
