One thing that bothers me about the final product, would be the ball joints. Occasionally there is too much weight on some action poses and then when you release the suit, it just collapses. However, other than this I have had no problems with the set. I currently display it with my Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!!!.

While this has already been reported upon it is nice to get a confirmation I think. So on Friday my father went out to our local LEGO Store and picked up a Sea Cow and Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!!! to surprise me today. Anyway, the older manager at the LEGO Store told him a few things. 1) Possible early VIP release for Slave I. 2) May 2015 UCS is a TIE Fighter. Still no confirmation on the version, but he guessed the standard TIE. 3) UCS Millennium Falcon may be coming sooner than you think. Very vague about this, could honestly just be a way to quiet down people. If true I would expect it to release before Episode 7. But it's so vague, as said beforehand, I don't exactly trust it. All and all, I hope all 3 are true, really would love the Slave I on Christmas day. I'ld be convulsing in joy.

Not too surprised myself. They released a UCS X-Wing during the lifetime of a minifigure scaled version, which seems a bit more odd than that imo.

[MOD] Ghostbusters Ecto1 (improved looks/details/in-exterior)
Jacob_9821 replied to B Rick's topic in LEGO Licensed
Quite the impressive improvement! My favorite mod would have to be the colorful control section in the back. By the way, do any of these mods favor functionality over stability? Overall, I would say you improved the already great model LEGO has put out.- 13 replies

Sleek, large, and swoosh-able. Looks like a day one purchase for me! I do hope that cockpit piece is printed... I would like it to have some sort of interior space to add lights if one would like to do so. But of course that wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. My favorite design element would be the ship's base. Considering their limitations of part inventory, I think they did the best they could do without introducing new pieces. Originally my major concern was the stability of the model, however thanks to the technic frame, it shall be solid as a rock. I love seeing technic being used in these larger models, such as the more recently released Sandcrawler and Red-Five X-Wing, because they really keep me engaged in a long building session. Don't get me wrong of course, I love the normal brick building. It is just that sometimes after building for a five to nine hours, it can become somewhat dull.

That was only worth it on a discount... And on that note, why wasn't there a Threepio in that line? Conclusion Confirmed: LEGO is hates us.

Yet the person who complained about the mistakes makes mistakes himself... pitiful. Onto other topics... I'm not to fond of the AAT as I was before. I knew it would be small, but this is just super tiny. Does anyone know off the top of their head if the larger dark-blue and gray quarter-circle pieces are available in normal tan? I know they're in dark tan, thanks to Jabba's Palace. Might as well start to moc up a AAT based upon the Clone Wars set as LEGO won't deliver.

I'm going to disagree that they were intended to be based upon Rebels, the Shadow Troopers I mean. All Rebels sets have the Rebels logo on the bottom left or right corners, that one doesn't. Is it plausible that Shadow Stormtroopers and Guards could appear in Rebels? Yes. But this set is based upon the Force Unleashed. It also seems a little early to see products that will be needed more towards a later season, as these guys protect the Emperor, and I don't think he'll show up in season One. Well, as for the Slave I, I believe it was intended to be a 2014 UCS set. As LEGO released a Batman UCS set, it delayed this to be a 2015 one. However, if the next one is the Millennium Falcon, then the Slave I was an intended early 2015 set. As in my opinion, they would want to easy up for such a large set. But, if it is not the UCS Falcon, we might get three UCS sets for 2015. To be honest, if we only get two UCS sets in 2015, I'll be fine with that. Still need to pick up some before they retire. But, imo, if the Falcon rumor is true the Death Star will be GONE!

I hope LEGO decides to price the Battle Droid Transport at $40-45. There just isn't enough to justify the $50. Battle Droids cost much less to produce than a normal minifig, so of course we should always see them in higher numbers than a normal fig. AAT: Round, tan, and chubby. 2 Battle droids and Jar Jar. Battle Droid Transport: Long, brown, and overpriced. 12 Battle Droids, 2 pilot Battle Droids, and a Gungan. T-16: Think Imperial Shuttle. Except gray with splotches of red. Tusken and Skyhopper Pilot. ITT: Gray rectangle with four sad Stormtroopers.

At first glance it appears to just be a black version of part 61190f.. However upon closer inspection it does appear to be a new mold.

Wow, thanks for these Just2Good, you really are just too good! Yeah, you've probably heard that one before. Bad joke I know. Here's a few of the sets I have minor complaints and concerns with. Ezra's Speeder Bike: Don't exactly care for Ezra's Lightsaber, but hey, it's the closest piece LEGO has, why wouldn't they use it? T-16 Skyhopper: Only complaint would be the Womp Rat. No printing, at all? I do hope the trans-clear pieces are prints and not stickers. AAT & Battle Droid Carrier: Okay, here's the problem I see right off the bat... Why do we get the army builder in the more expensive set? I'm planning on 3 AATs and I'll have extra Jar Jars that I won't have anything to do with. Would have preferred for a swap of the two figs. However the sets themselves look fine, but the AAT could be slightly larger. Since they're like this I think I'll only get the one AAT. AT-DP: The yellow would preferably have been of a lighter shade. Wookie Gunship: No baby Wookie? ITT: Don't care for the Rebels Stormies. For those who like them, get the set. Won't be getting the ITT in bulk, nor the AAT. However as I now plan to get the Battle Droid Carrier, it somewhat evens what I will spend out, but still lessor than planned.

I would love an Ebon Hawk set. But alas I have my doubts.
-
I doubt it. That series isn't canon anymore, atleast according to Disney. The only reason why we got this was because it was already in production, in the sense that it had already started to be designed. I do hope Disney changes their outlook on the EU, they are missing out on a whole crowd of Star Wars fans.
-
It's a possibility, no doubt about that. However, I more or less just expect it to be apart of the EU products that LEGO had in development at the time. As it would be the last time LEGO could release these items, as Disney made all EU non-canon and with that no more EU products. I also have considered the possibility that they're becoming once again canon and will appear in Star Wars Rebels, but that's all pure speculation.
-
As for the Imperial Troop Transport, I'm not too sure how I feel about the set. The design is starting to growing on my but I won't be buying as many of these as originally planned, 5 or 6, if they are the Rebels variant for figs. Also, get well soon Just2Good!

2015 Speed Champions Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Jacob_9821 replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Town
Glad that this pretty much confirms we're getting a new car theme. I hope some are minifig scale rather than how previous ones have either be too large or too small. 75911 seems like a set I'll be purchasing, if it is what I think it is. -
Wouldn't be too entirely surprised if the Summer wave includes more prominent ships and characters from the trailers that one could assume would be out then. Then as for the Winter wave it would include more secretive characters and less prominent ships from the trailers (Or missing at all) that play a larger role in the film itself. However I would guess that the Summer wave would be released in June or July rather than August such that the Winter sets are released November or Decemeber respectively.
-
This wave looks like an interesting one to say the least. I think it would also be a fairly cheap wave for me as well. I will be buying the Azure Angel, AAT, T-16 Skyhopper and possibly Sabine Wren. Still need to purchase sets from the Summer wave. The Imperial Star Destroyer comes to mind...

Hello fellow LEGO Fans! My name is Jacob and I love building. I have been reading the forum for a few months now, and I thought that it would be a good idea to join the site. I have loved LEGO since I was a child, starting with Bob the Builder Duplo at 2. I have more recently bought the Exo-Suit. I am currently in to all things LEGO, such as trains, cars, buildings, mechs, ships, and my favorite, a swoosh-able spacecraft of some sort. I am currently 15, going on 16 next month. I guess I would be what you would consider a "TFOL". I am working on a LEGO City at the moment and hope to fill the table by the time I finish High School. I hope I enjoy my time on this forum and hope to become a contributing member to the site!
