That actually surprises me. I thought he would've been apart of the December 2015 wave of constraction figures. By the way, something like that belongs in the action figure forums.

Isn't the first time LEGO has been slow giving out press releases, FBTB didn't get pictures for the UCS Slave 1 (or was it the UCS TIE?) until the day of. This is probably just them trying to prevent all possible leaks.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Jacob_9821 replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Depending on how you'll want to achieve this, there are a few ways you can easily save on parts early on. As said by jhalego, you can separate your MOC into 32x32 sections to get a quicker enjoyment out of them. Not only that, but as I was saying prior, you can save on parts by using DUPLO bricks. Check out this video by Jangbricks, while it may be obvious it does have a few nice parts in it, such as showing a few example of how he uses DUPLO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abdZ2pSnde0 Also, as a tip, don't bother spending a lot of money on tiles. If you plan to use any, they can easily be added in later. If a LEGO store is in your area, PaB cups can help you gather up loads of 2x4 bricks and other miscellaneous parts. This tutorial video by Your Creative Friends shows you how to get 169 2x4 bricks in a large PaB cup, This is MUCH cheaper than buying the parts of PaB online and can be cheaper than Bricklink (don't know the price of 2x4 on bricklink, but I'd assume anyone who has a decent stock of them is a fairly high price when compared to PaB cups). -
Out of all of them, I think I'm most interested in 21123. Been waiting for villagers for a long time, and this seems like the perfect set for them to be included in. It looks like 21126 is the reason why we didn't get Wither Skeletons in the Nether set, as they'll be put here. This does mean we'll be getting the newer skeleton torso, arms and legs in black! That'll be very exciting for people who want to build the Lar's Homestead with charred corpses! Joking aside, these seem more like stronger sets than the last wave. At the very least, I like the idea of these sets more than I did of the Summer sets.

Maybe Umarak is more of a title, like Makuta was in G1?

I almost expected this, after having some great episodes, we had to eventually get a filler episode. Those who don't speak Russian probably didn't get much out of it, but once it's released in other languages we may appreciate it a bit more. Although, it could still be boring and not be very impressive.

My only issue with the Yarn Yoshi amiibos is that they're going to be extremely difficult to keep clean, ugh. When i get one, I'll probably keep 'em in box. Regarding Shovel Knight, I wonder if this opens up the door for more 3rd party amiibo. Take Sonic Boom, yes we've all heard how bad it was, but I was disappointed there was no Sonic amiibo functionality in game. Maybe this'll change down the line as more 3rd party games are put out with amiibo in mind. As for Super Mario Maker, anyone think Shovel Knight will be compatible?

@Hulk_Smash Do you happen to know if the set also includes a minifigure version of Han to complement the frozen Han? It almost feels incomplete with 2 figures and the Carbon block.

Sure, but the last Wampa cave was 35.99 Euro so it's possible they'll give us less terrain to compensate for the lower price.

Not much, just was playing some Box Boy on 3DS. Fun cheapy game.

There actually was a polybag given out as apart of the "#LEGOScoobyDoo" Mystery builder campaign. Although, it is apparently exclusive to that giveaway. It's just a bunch of 2x2 bricks and plates that make up the gang. I don't believe any of the parts are exclusive to it whatsoever, but I could be wrong. As for any others, haven't seen one and haven't seen any reports of one. Maybe one in October? Such as, buy X amount of stuff, get free set.

Just wondering, by armor do you mean armor add-on pieces like the piston piece from winter 2015, or a brand new CCBS shell? It may be a dumb question but I just had to ask.

Short answer: No. Long answer: Maybe. It all depends on how well the Ideas set sells. There is a vast wealth of content they can draw on, it's almost as vast as Star Wars in that sense. Not directly comparing the two, just saying there's a lot to pull from. Considering that Lego had the BTTF license for years and only made one set until dimensions, it's possible we'll get the same with Doctor Who. Just the Ideas set and some level packs. In the end, it all depends on sales.

Lego themes that we would like to happen
Jacob_9821 replied to YellowCorvette's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Although we have gotten Ideas sets of, and soon to be Dimensions products as well, for Doctor Who and BTTF I would love to see themes based upon these two. I could easily see us getting Cyberman Vs Dalek battlepacks Another theme I would just adore would be Pokemon. Only problem being, we probably wouldn't get every Pokemon. But, we would get the major ones, which I am perfectly okay with.- 451 replies

Rumor and Discussion for New "Nostalgic" D2C
Jacob_9821 replied to Ashnflash's topic in General LEGO Discussion
There was, but we've now gotten new information from the same source that now says the Arcade won't be the next modular. Maybe the arcade is coming, it just isn't a modular set?- 103 replies

Review: 40116 "Invasion from Below polybag" (Breez on Mecha)
Jacob_9821 replied to Pikachu's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Was this one of your first reviews? If so, this was well put together. Ypu certainly have all the basics covered. Good review! For what it is, a polybag, it packs a small punch! Especially love the orange elements.- 1 reply

It wouldn't be all too surprising.. The smooth look of CCBS and what System elements they've used on the Star Wars figures don't clash whatsoever. Although, I am a system and CCBS fan, so this may be why I'm not so opposed to the change. However, I expect to see more Technic introduced as time goes on. Be it custom body builds or different functions.
