I like this vignette. The office has the proper feel for Grand Admiral Thrawn. Orderly, everything there for a reason.

Excellent work making this lok 5.5 wide, but still able to run on track. The proportions look correct.

[GBW] - Free Build - Sørdfjordmoen - Cargo Down
Feuer Zug replied to firearmsfan's topic in The Great Brick War
Good story. The lighting and pictures aren't the greatest as you mentioned. A good light box setup will do wonders, unless you're looking for that night feel. I know, I got called out on it a while back with my hardened aircraft shelter. As for making it look like NVGs, it's a far different feel. -
[GBW] - Free Build - PDSRE - Revolutionary air pilot

Danke. First generation jet fighters tried a lot of things. It gives one more options to experiment with the design. Danke. The MiG-15 was a starting point for this fighter. -
[GBW] - Free Build - PDSRE - Revolutionary air pilot
Feuer Zug posted a topic in The Great Brick War
During the early 1960s, societal differences in the nation of Steinovania came to a head. The eastern section revolted due to policies originating from the ruling parties in the western part of the nation. The ensuing civil war was fought between the two sides. While the west had more equipment in better condition, the majority of the manpower came from the east. While extremely limited in aircraft, eastern pilots were far more aggressive. While the west should have had air superiority from day one, the eastern pilots managed to punch above their weight, obtaining localized air superiority when necessary for operations. Here, we see Oleg Kovalenko, the leading ace of the eastern side next to his Steinovanian Flugzeug GmbH SFJ-2 first generation jet fighter. Oleg was credited with two dozen aerial kills during the civil war. The SFJ-2 fighter is equipped with a non-afterburning centrifugal turbojet producing 5,000 pounds of thrust. It is equipped with a pair of 20mm wing mounted cannons and has two hardpoints, one on each wing. It can carry bombs, rockets, or external fuel tanks on the hardpoints. By the end of the war, both sides SFJ-2s were tired and newer aircraft designs were coming online in the west. The newly formed People's Democratic Socialist Republic of East Steinovania had to carry on with their SFJ-2s longer and Oleg perished during a ground support sortie shortly before the armistice was signed. -
Wonderful scene. Lots of details abound. The trees and cabin are impressive.

Sounds like a descent idea. Might have a few thoughts in mind. Maybe do some backstory work.
-
Cool design. Looks well armoured from the front.

Nice design and use for an ornithopter. The legs make me think of a comedic T-Rex. NPU with the old hinge pieces.
-
Brilliant work on the Clio. The ambulance looks great as well. Nice work.

Well done. This would fit perfectly in a standard City 6-wide layout. -

Makes me think of a Dune ornithopter, but with Steampunk vibes. Rockin'! -
Top notch cabin. As noted, the roofline is impressive. The rest of the details make it a solid build. Kudos.

Another great design. I like your use of hinges for the main cannons. The graceful curves are offset with the right touch of greebling.

Still here and looking at the GBW threads now and then. My schedule is tight this winter, but I could make a build or two a month.
-
Big and powerful appearing TIE Interceptor. Well done.

While it might not be the answer you want, I would look to the Friends theme for their beach options. You could swap out the minidolls for minifigs and have a good background with that.

Sweet build. Not as angular as one thinks from Blacktron, but it definitely has the vibe. NPU with the piece on the backside of the cockpit.
