  1. Very cool station. The whole train shed, all the lettering, the engine, everything is Awesome!
  2. Cool buildings. They would be great additions to any modular town.
  3. Another commission I built. My grandfather served as a Seabee in the Pacific theater during World War II, and it made me proud to create this piece. The Navy Seabee logo was designed by Frank Iafrate. He said, “…I thought of a bee — the busy worker, who doesn’t bother you unless you bother him. But provoked, the bee stings. It seemed like an ideal symbol. “The rest came easily. I gave the bee a white sailor’s cap, various tools to show his construction talents, and finally a Tommy gun to show his fighting ability. I made the bee a third-class petty officer (E-4) with the 1942 Naval insignia used by the first Seabees on each arm … a machinist’s mate, a carpenter’s mate, and a gunner’s mate.” Information from: The Seabee Museum and Memorial Park http://www.seabeesmu...ightingBee.html
  4. That's a fantastic build. The 9 months is worth it I'd say. Brick on!
  5. Everything is AWESOME!... at least with that crash.
  6. That's quite a train. The colors look good, the design is spot on, and everything clicks. Brick on!
  7. Very cool and iconic. I recognized every one immediately.
  8. Cool video. I like all the movie references and the voice acting.
  9. That's a cool fire train. As a fire and train guy, I love the blending of the two genres.
  10. Very nice layout. The station looks great.
  11. Nice little vignette.
  12. Nifty addition to the town. Maybe a pub to partake on the side?
  13. You've made another awesome piece. The detail work is phenominal!
  14. Nice work on the GE locomotive. I like how you've built a C-C setup out of the train motor and extended it with another wheelset. You've scaled it well too, matching the look while keeping it short. I even noticed you got the GE nose down really well. The only issue I see is on the UP version, with the grey battery box. Maybe a plate like on the 60052?
  15. I like your setup. Lots of capabilities for play here. The container mover is an awesome vehicle, and it only got better. As a side note, I recently found a pair of 1851 Maersk trucks and your design comes very close. Great work and brick on.
  16. As I used to know people that worked on the guidance system for the Apollo project, I love it. it would look nice by my Space Shuttle.
  17. Great station. It has a nice mix of the big Union stations, with the small town feel. Reminds me of some of the West Coast USA stops I saw on the Coastal Starlight.
  18. That look really nice. I've seen a few of those when I travel to Neiderland and you've captured it well. Even the cantenary looks good.
  19. Actually, the nose piece is connected with part 52107. It allows me to have the rest of the fusalge get larger for a couple of stud widths before going 4 wide.
  20. The Lockheed AC-130 gunship is a heavily armed ground-attack aircraft variant of the C-130 Hercules transport plane. The basic airframe is manufactured by Lockheed, while Boeing is responsible for the conversion into a gunship and for aircraft support. The AC-130A Gunship II superseded the AC-47 Gunship I during the Vietnam War. The gunship's sole user is the United States Air Force, which uses the AC-130U Spooky for close air support, air interdiction, and force protection. Close air support roles include supporting ground troops, escorting convoys, and urban operations. Air interdiction missions are conducted against planned targets and targets of opportunity. Force protection missions include defending air bases and other facilities. Weaponry is mounted to fire from the port side of the non-pressurized aircraft. During an attack the gunship performs a pylon turn, flying in a large circle around a target, allowing it to fire for far longer than conventional attack aircraft. The AC-130U "Spooky" has a single 25 mm GAU-12 Equalizer, one Bofors 40mm autocannon, and one 105 mm M102 cannon. 21. Very nice engine. It looks spot on from what I've seen while on vacation in that region.
  22. Nice work with the building. I like how you've got it at an angle to the baseplate to line up with the rail spur. The detail work fits a delayed maintenance facility to a T.
  23. Nice setup for the sea you have there.
  24. As a big fan of the F-40 ever since I got one of the posters as a budding teenager, I know I'm getting this one, flaws and all. Overall, the model is an excellent representation for LEGO at the price point. Could it be better, yes, but I am willing to live with a few minor imperfections to get a fine car out of it.
  25. That's a great train you've built. The locomotive looks great, I like the steam, and you've got an excellent 8-40 boxcar. Brick on!
