  1. The only way I could see a space theme fitting into the current Lego lineup is for it to be a space exportation theme, like the last artic sets.
  2. Thanks, I wasn’t quite sure about how to do smoke. I guess it turned out ok Altered Carbon was pretty good. I’ve not seen any Lego Mocs based on it now you mention it.
  3. Thanks guys, I had a lot of fun building it.
  4. Hey all. Here is my latest MOC. It is a microscale sci-fi city, or rather two cities bound together as one. It was Inspired by some of my sci-fi favourites like "Things to Come", "Battle Angel Alita" and as Digger of Bricks pointed out to me “Metropolis”. Hope you like it
  5. Cool is that one of Benny's space squad?
  6. Glad you liked the alien flower Daylight bulbs with their white light are what you want to use. I find they produce a nice result.
  7. Can't wait to see it. Due to the often poor light during winter (and summer ) in Ireland, I got myself some photography lights from Amazon. They are well worth the investment. It sure beats making something good then needing to wait for the weather to change to get a good photograph.
  8. I just had a look. That's a pretty good way to share building techniques.
  9. Hey all. Did you guys see there is a sci-fi building competition group over on Flickr? https://www.flickr.com/groups/4053104@N23/ There are some pretty cool categories mircoscale city, Star fighter, space lab, alien life form, drones and robots. Being a lover of all things Lego sci-fi I thought it was pretty cool. Anyone going to enter a build?
  10. Ah such rocket fuelled nerdiness, the sci-fi forum is my spiritual home. Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it.
  11. All is not what it seems Andy, you sound like the type that just might fall victim to a man eating plant. Be careful out there.
  12. The whole design is great. That’s a very well thought out build.
  13. Beautiful and ominous, that's how I like my sci-fi :) Wow, that's awesome! I've had that That pink space lady fig for years. I finally made an MOC specially for her. I can't wait to get Benny's space squad.
  14. Thanks, fixed Thanks. It's been a while since I have been building and I was thinking what balloon parts is he talking about? I have seen a few MOCs with those parts used for flowers, very handy for big curved leaves or petals.
  15. Yes, It's been so long since I posted the way to post pictures with links has changed. I'm not sure how to do it right Yep, I have a few hobbies and Lego was out of the rotation for a while. I will always come back to it eventually. Glad to be back thanks
  16. If you are out on a day trip to an alien world, remember please do not pick the flowers.
  17. What a great build :)
  18. Thanks for all the kind words guys

  21. I never even noticed the trans piece in those balloons. The whole build is marvellous
  22. One of the best character study type builds I have seen in a long time. The human face is hard to do well. Epic building skills! I love it.
  23. That is a very, very difficult subject to try and build with Lego. You make it look easy. Excellent as usual
  24. Thank you, maybe I will do some more pics, however I have a short attention span when it comes to mocs.
  25. Very nice. I love seeing character builds on here. Keep up the good work
