  1. I don't mind Coast Guard either. Maybe we'll get a Coast Guard Ambulance of some kind? Would be neat.
  2. First, I hope sets like Fun in the Park become more of a thing. It doesn't have to the same size, but, that sey had a lot of useful and practical stuff in it. They could try other stuff that's similar, like perhaps a city street area? Or a beach? After that, since Police sets are a guarantee, I feel like there should be a police SUV that can hold two minifigures like you usually see with the standard Lego SUVs in City these days. Oh yeah, a police tow truck. They need something to haul 6 wide vehicles away :P Other ideas: American-style ambulance: I really want to see one of these, to be honest. Brush truck: Could be a regular pick-up build that has more to it for firefighter duty. A classic car: Thinking something like 1950s era American sedan or something European from the era. A mini-mart/small grocery store: I know Lego city buildings usually won't have the same level of build as other buildings from something like Creator, but, at least it could be expanded upon by the fans into something more. I'd much rather see more buildings from Creator but I don't mind getting one via City either. Animal control truck: Might as well have something like this since we got the Animal Control Officer in CMF Series 15. Plus, would be really cool. Paramedic motorcycle: We really need a new Hospital theme. Lawncare Truck/Trailer: Another idea that would be neat to see. Handyman's Truck: Again, going with the truck theme. I know Lego does a lot of trucks and larger vehicles+trailer, but, there's still a lot they could do with that alone. City Bus: We've gotten these before, but, I think one being its own set would suffice. Ice Cream Truck: We got one via The Lego Movie theme in 2014. Why not one for City? Luxury Yacht: Rich minifigures need to have fun too :P
  3. Hey, at least we have thirs parties like Brickarms to fill that void for the minifigure part. Though, I suppose you could always use some of Mega Blok's COD sets. They have been absolutely nailing it with those. I have never played those games, but, have you see the P-51D or the Bradley tank they put out? They're fantastic, and, that's only two. I am first and foremost a Lego fan, but, I can't overlook Mega Bloks anymore. Of course, Oxford and Cobi has great stuff as well. I wouldn't mind some of Oxford's SWAT sets as I have an in-progress Lego SWAT Team.
  4. Koenigsegg Koenigsegg Koenigsegg Koenigsegg Koenigsegg Koenigsegg Koenigsegg Koenigsegg. Sorry, I just really want to see Koenigsegg in this theme at some point haha. The 2015 and 2016 sets were great, but, the overall finish of the vehicles seems to be getting better with each wave.
  5. I know this post is from August, but, this is really interesting to know. Lego seems to be indifferent to the third parties. They're very strict about no modern military/SWAT/firearms(aside from a couple) but I guess they don't really mind that void being filled up. They don't even have to make any with these third parties.
  6. Lego is never going to do anything modern military or M-rated, and I will respect that. If I want to arm my minifigures or make some army guys, there's third parties like Brickarms and Brickwarriors for that. With that said, I would definitely welcome another Indiana Jones theme. I don't know if I would actually buy any Disney related sets, expanding on that would be a good move on their part. However, being a car guy, I want to see Lego get more licenses for the Speed Champions line. Let's see a Nissan GT-R. Let's see a Lexus RC F. Let's see Koenigsegg, Pagani, Aston Martin, Jaguar, and, if the angles and wedges aren't too tricky, Lamborghini. As well as utilizing the existing licenses as well.
  7. This has probably been posted already, but, I love this polybag:
  8. Credit goes to TheBrickLab via YouTube for the how to build video. I have since modded mine to be mostly black. Will be replacing the few red pieces you see eventually.
  9. The Ford set, the Chiron, and the AMG GT3 are must haves. Wanne see if I can mod the GT3 into an AMG GT or AMG GT-R. I also like the FXX K set, but, not sure when I'll get that. Also, the Ford set makes me wish they do that more. How cool would it be to have a set with a Mclaren F1 GTR or a Mclaren P1 GTR? Or a F1 LM and a P1 LM?
  10. Bosozoku is a rather interesting style of custom car in Japan. They tend to be over the top, exaggerated, and kind of ridiculous, but I think it's pretty unique and interesting. It was a spur of the moment thing, but I tried to make one out of Lego. Here's the current version at this time: Yeah, the exhausts are supposed to be somewhat like that, as per what I've seen in photos of real life Bosozoku cars. Rolls rather nicely, though the front section that's sticking out is only attached with 2 studs, so I've got to figure out a way to make it so it's more sturdy. Other than that, I am very, very happy with how this turned out. Please tell me what you think, and I hope you enjoy!
  11. I have been trying to make a good (well, good for me) police truck to use with a SWAT or tactical unit on and off now, but have not gotten a look I wanted....until now. This could use more black to make it more SWAT-like, and I do plan to replace most of the white bricks with black bricks at some point, but I do like the look of this one. It still has to pass the "Can it fit multiple geared up SWAT guys" test, but I want to keep this look. Those yellowish green lights are supposed to represent lights for spotting purposes. So, if a criminal is trying to hide, the spotlights can reveal it to the SWAT Team. Hope you like it!
  12. Anyone know the MSRP for the police boat set and the fire helicopter set? I'm interested in those two. There are actually multiple sets in this wave that interest me.
  13. Honestly, I would love a Hazmat truck from Lego. Would be a nice addition to any Lego fire department.
  14. Like others who posted, I am too a car guy and I love it when they put out a great set with good vehicles in it. However, I do thing some buildings should be part of the City theme. Maybe nothing TOO big like the Police/Fire Station, but decently sized and decently prized. Although, I would imagine any building in the City like would be more focused on the playing side because of the general target audience for the theme.
  15. Liking this wave of city sets so far. I definitely want Police Pursuit and Police Patrol Boat but aside from that, it's gonna be hard to choose what to get. I like several of those sets.
  16. If I had the money, I would get this set. It looks really neat. Also, is that big check thing that one of the figures is holding in the box art a new piece? If so, that's really cool.
  17. No to guns. However, since we've seen a baton before(the Constable minifigure and Chief Wiggum), I would not mind seeing batons.
  18. I'd like to see a new ambulance set with an American-style ambulance. I think that would be pretty neat.
  19. As am I. But, I'm glad we're getting new Fire Department related stuff. Hoping for a new Fire Truck set.
  20. Yeah, I found the new stuff at Target last Saturday. So, it's all good now. Yeah, I hope we get a Hospital subtheme next year. I want a new ambulance set.
  21. Thanks for all the tips! In regards to 4, I actually am planning to stick with City stuff. All the ideas I have now are stuff that you'd find or see in a city.
  22. Thank you. I'm really happy with these cars.
  23. I've been really getting into taking things apart and building new things recently. However, I have to follow some instructions as I'm not skilled at this at all. I was wondering if anyone has any helpful MOCing tips as I have quite a few ideas planned. For instance, since I made a police flatbed(with help from instructions from set 60017), I was thinking about making a police impound lot. Not right now, as I do not have the bricks, but it is something I do want to attempt. How would I go about something like this? It'll obviously be much smaller(thinking about using a 32x32 baseplate as the base) than a real one, but still. Any advice? Thanks in advance?
  24. I'm not a skilled MOC builder so I have to follow some instructions for things I want to build. However, I would say I have started to become an MOCer but there are official Lego builds that I own that I refuse to take apart. Examples would be the hovercraft from this year's Hovercraft Arrest set, the police jeep from set 60007, and the Speed Champions Porsche 918 Spyder.
