I think a 2 figure 10$ type set is the best solution for Galadriel vs sauron in the next wave so we don't get flooded with more bigish dol guldur.
-
You do realize we are proapbly getting Dain Ironfoot next year in norma sets. Also he is nowhere to be seen in the first 2 films so he's not even in the game.

Sure, but the way it is 2 diferent brandings, means it would be easier for lego to just discontinue one of them. I do think it makes sense for lego to "milk" out some more from LOTR while it is still relevant though. Unless thats what they think they did with Orthanc..

something ending or getting canceld is a NEGATIVE news story, so it affects people overall. and negativity gets connected to their product they are still selling (wave 2)

I still think we might know what is or isn't up with lotr when the toy fairs start.
-
That pretty much lotr sauron, wich means he needs 2 new molds...

Well, it took a long time before prelim hobbit pictures got around this year aswell.

Well the "regal" robes, are not so regal, it's the same clothes Braga have So I'd much rather have him as a minifigure than a variation of Thorin. pretty much the rest of the dwarves+Bilbo got laketown guard clothes. Then whoever wanted could use the components to make their departing Laketown Thorin. Unless we get her in a Set next year, I really hope they take the oppertunity to give us Galadriel.

Well, do we know about other themes? Lego cartainly haev been better at keeping secrets over time.

@Blazej_Holen after watching the movie a couple more times I've updated my version to be more accurate.
-
Well game workshop was selling it as BOLG for a year before they cahnged names, LEgo has not been selling him at all. Lego did design a fiigure of that design yes, did it enter practical production, we don't know.

The erebor helmet looks mroe like Gimlis helmet, Lego better make a new mold, This helmet got a specific mowhawk thing. and only line across the helmet one way where gimli has crossing lines. Gimlis helmet is rounded where this is all flat angles. Gimlis helmet has some chainmail looking stuff, this one does not at all. I also think theres a possebility lego will reuse it. But they really need to make a new mold. the last Hobbit wave I feel need to impress people. I'm not sure wrongly reused molds and reused prints is what people care for.

Sounds like a fun distraction

suprise suprise the ironhills dwarf soldier was seen in the latest production vlog that came out today. This is the dwarf soldier Lego will be making. (unless they make some horrible mistake) Here is wahat the 5 armies looks like armor wise.
-
No, the erebor dwarves we saw during smaugs attack, and battle outside moria. thats the ones you showed picture of. the ironhill dwarves will show up at battle like in the book.
-
Nope, thats the Erebor dwarves, the Ironhills dwarves are different. You can see the soldiers in the auj EE extras. if i rememebr correct they are kindof purple, unless I made that up, i might psot a off screen phone picture laer if people want.

Dain's got a mowhak, but i guess his torso could work sure. The new dwarf helmets kindof got mowhawkish designs aswell.

Elrond was part of buying the videogame.

They didn't miss the boat on smaug on all he has a huge scene in the next movie. Same thing goes with bear Beorn.

Absolutley, but if the set looks right aswell, thats certainy an advantage. Instead of ahving seomthing to complain about, you'd have another thing to praise besides the figures.

He would propably like the sets if they were movie accurate aswell, thing is more movie fans might want the sets if they looked more accurate.

Looks nothing like movie Bolg, but it does looks related to azog

Just theories, They do make polybags with 30-something pieces INCLUDING the pieces made to make the minifig SO it's not that strict. If anything star wars would be the msot strict about brick to minifig ratio. their action figure business is much larger.
