Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
BaneShake replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
These are still so much less cartoon-ized than TTG, so we probably shouldn't worry just yet. -
Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion

Yes. -
Doomsday wouldn't "kill Wonder Woman in just a few minutes." She was the one doing the bulk of the fighting in BvS, which is why I assume they lumped them together.

DC Super Heroes (& LEGO Batman Movie) General Discussion
BaneShake replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
He is. I was just naming the big variations for clarity. Other figures not named here, but matching ones named here, are included. -
Next year's DC Mighty Micros will be useful for purist figs. Wonder Girl: WW's MM torso, jeans-legs, and the lady head and blonde hair of your choosing. Batman TAS: MM Batman's torso, light gray legs with black hips, normal Batman head, type-1 cowl in black (black could also potentially be replaced with blue for all of this) Bizarro could also be given long legs and Mr. Freeze's current face to fit more in line with the normal figs (credit to Legocity2713 for that idea) Doomsday doesn't have anything quite as accurate as that, but perhaps the Gargoyle CMF head or Peeve's head could work in tandem with normal legs to help him fit in.

2006 line, "Funhouse" costume, Arkham Asylum costume, and Scuba suit are Tim Drake. Jokerland, Juniors, 1960's, and Batboat pursuit are Dick Grayson. Joker's Steam Roller is Damian Wayne. As far as I know, the jury's out on the Mighty Micros Robin. -
That's a good idea! Currently, my Mr. Freeze has Aldrich Killian's neutral face, so I'll even have Freeze's head free.

Nsk's bigfig comment came after the "and" in the statement. He meant Doomsday.

Strange how we saw these before the exclusive minifigs. When did we first see them last year?

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
BaneShake replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I suspect, since we're getting Micro versions, Doomsday and Bizarro may get normal versions in the near future. Every other Micros figure has been represented normally as well, including the other new ones we've seen. -
Okay, these are fun. WonderDoom is definitely my favorite, but these all look great! Far more elaborate than the first wave, and I was okay with those! Thoughts: WW's torso could make a good Wonder Girl, Superman's as a Golden Age Superboy, and Batman's (combined with blue-hip legs and a type-1 blue cowl) could be a spot-on Animated Series Batman! Bizarro's costume would look fine simplified, as he often makes it himself, and a different gray face could be used for a "serious" Doomsday fig. As for Killer Moth... well, I guess he'll just have to stay goofy.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
BaneShake replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I guess it depends on what they're basing him off of. Live action Firestorm doesn't have the helmet thing, so just has Ghost-Rider-esque flames around his head. They might also just have his face printed on a red head to represent the helmet. -

They could even use Woody-length pieces. This would be a brilliant move, if they ever make him again. -

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
BaneShake replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I admit, if they do make stylized characters like this, Plastic Man could still be passed off as himself amongst the regular figs. These seem rife for mighty micros-ing. -
That's the one. And it's a close match for Arrowverse Atom.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

I'll give you that. I guess it will ultimately fall on how much demand they predict amongst kids for them, something I honestly have no clue about. -
Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
BaneShake replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is confirmed to corrupt kids instantly to 17% of those exposed. And I doubt there's any way we'd ever get them, even in-continuity now. Some things that were already tied to canon will never appear; see Victor Zsasz. -
DC Super Heroes (& LEGO Batman Movie) General Discussion

I'd consider them "pre" just because some character designs essentially stayed the same. Also, Darkseid is New 52. Forgot him earlier. -

This is cool! I'm tempted to order the parts to make my own. -
Since Batman will have his own Lego movie line, I agree with AoVA7 here.

Actually, it would be great if Tobias Whale popped up, as he's a Black Lightning villain, and I'd be okay with Black Lightning. I do understand why we get so many Bat-villains. Batman has what is almost un-debatably the best superhero rogues gallery around, especially when it comes to how many iconic villains have come out of it. Almost any random person on the street would be able to recognize Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, and the "classic" central few others present from the '60s show, as well as the likes of Two-Face and Poison Ivy, who weren't even present for that show. Most other heroes only have a few with common knowledge amongst the general everyman; Superman will get you Lex and Zod (and maaaaybe Doomsday), Wonder Woman might get you Cheetah. This isn't to say "iconic" is everything; Flash also has one of the best rogues galleries in comics, even though non-fans might not recognize them. Lego just has to go slower with them, so as not to overwhelm the primary target (kids) with too many unfamiliar faces all at once. If anything, ever since Lego Batman 3 released, any of the characters from that will be far more likely, because it's had enough time for plenty of kids and adults alike to recognize and desire the characters.

This is superb! How long did it take to build all of this?

Except Atom is a bigger character than Arsenal. Well, public image-wise. Technically he's quite often smaller.
