The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
BaneShake replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Having seen the figure, it is most likely for next year's DC-branded sets, probably juniors from what we know. It heavily resembles Jason Todd's New 52 Robin costume; and since the face heavily resembles the last junior's Robin, only now with a red mask, and that we seem to know the initial DC lineup for the year's start, I almost guarantee it will be juniors. -
Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

I'm fairly certain you're correct here, since only the first two had updated flashback looks. Tim's Robin days were shown as his black-and-red Connor remembrance look, and Damian is just standard Damian apparel. -

That figure seems fairly plausible, so I'll certainly keep my fingers crossed; I'd certainly like having it. And nice to see the print on the space Batsuit as well! -

These are delectable... It'll be strange having white mannequin arms showing on Reggae Man, but I suppose it is accurate to the movie. -
My guess is Jackie Chan's contract requirements, or at least fear of not using a famous actor's face?

I don't have the Flying Fox yet, but the crawler set gave me two sets of wings as well as Atlantis.

That is a very cool set, but I can't see myself justifying that price tag. I'll probably wind up just ordering the new figures on their own. -
Joined everyone else in seeing Ninjago. Pretty decent, although the intro was pointless and raised far too many questions for the logistics, and the connected outro just sort of cut off things abruptly. Otherwise enjoyed it thoroughly.

It sounds very similar to the Ninjago Arena ios app then, albeit more fleshed out. I freaking loved that app, so I'll definitely want to check this one out, sounds like.

I don't think it's lazy, I think it's budget decisions. Two-tone capes are certainly pricier than one-tone, so if they did that, they would have to take budget away from another area, like new pieces, for example.

Just went and saw IT with an old buddy of mine yesterday. I definitely agree with the previous posts about IT; very well made, never had any issue with the special effects. I know some people still love the 1990 tv version, but I looked back at a few scenes online afterwords, and it definitely hasn't aged well; the new one is most definitely the better horror movie of the two.

If anyone has picked it up yet, how is the combat tweaked? And if you've tried them, how are the "endless combat" arenas?

Now that I can see the goatee (slightly), I'm much happier with the figure. -
Personally, not really. I'd rather have two expressions that fit the same face.

If that is what the Micros torso looks like, I like it.

Mr Sunday Movies. His stuff is absolutely hilarious, while being rather unscripted.

Not directly. It's based on the costume he wore in comics around the time, but it's not either of Keaton's batsuits. The symbol is wrong for it to be the '89 Batman, and the musculature is wrong for it to be Batman returns. Not to mention either one had smaller, yellow-outlined symbols. The actual costume is the troika Batsuit from comics.

A while back, there was an iOs Ninjago Arena fighter-type game, with endless waves of enemies, different bosses, and different combat abilities for the characters, which you could level up to 5 for each. I would love to see that kind of system in this new game, since it seems to have some sort of arena mode. That would cinch this as a "need to get" for me, potentially much sooner than I would have gotten it in the first place.

Well, I can officially find nothing through google. Guess I wait for a picture we're able to post. -

Yeah, that too. Sadly, I feel like more Legionnaires are unlikely, much as I'd like them; DC tried to reboot them in comics several times separate times before basically giving up. However, there is hope for her more than the others; in the Rebirth comics, Saturn Girl appears to have wound up some sort of time refugee (maybe) because she is seen locked up in Arkham, and she does doodle out the Legion symbol, so if her full "return" is significant enough, we could get a comic-based fig down the line. -

She had printing on her helmet in the movie, so we'll have to keep our fingers crossed when the real one rolls around. Still a solid fig with those printed legs! And a new Superman face is always welcome in my book, assuming it is his. If there are subtle cheekbone lines on that fig, it probably is. Hard to tell in the image. -

Custom Trans Neon-Green dying technique
BaneShake replied to doanduyhai's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I'm impressed. Here you are, figuring out a relatively complex customization process, when I'm lucky to have put on a shirt by ten-thirty on a good day. Do you think other highlighter colors would have a similar effect?- 13 replies
