I have to agree. I'd like to see that. I have my own mod which only works for the Hagah. Remove the chestplate and add another gear, then cover with the Hagah's chest armour.

I actually prefer Keetorange and Orange to brown. It stands out more, it's more vibrant, and more useful.

Remember that they don't have to play by the rules this time: Matoran could have Mask powers now, if Turaga have been dropped. Speaking of, I honestly think that the Turaga are gone. With the seires becoming a more action-based thing since the old run's midpoint, the Turaga ended up feeling less like an important group and mroe like some background detailing. Especially since, from 06 onwards, the story team preferred to present the local Matoran as being in a more dire situation by giving them no Turaga to guide them. Now the Protectors seem more like what I thought the Turaga were before the films: They lead their people, but they're fighters themselves, and their tough enough to protect them.So really, more like Jaller or Tanma. Speaking of Jaller, and slightly off-topic, but I went to Biosector today, and it now says that the Toa Mahri were released from their brainwashing and escaped when the Skakdi fusion fought Annona. When was this revealed, because I went there a few days ago and it still said they were controlled.

Cragger still looks like a machine to me, just because of the black CCBS bones. Makes him look like a robotic endoskeleton with armour layered over it.

Tahu's going to be my first one, hopefully Jaller Fire Protector too. I'll get Pohatu soon after that, then probably Gali and Lewa. THe last two big ones and the other Protectors will mostly be "If I have the cash". LoSS, I just don't care for. Functions were never my thing, especially when articulation is sacrificed for them, and I feel like LoSS might've had CCBS legs, which would've justified buying him for me, if it weren't for the grabbing function. As it stands, he really brings nothing I'm interested in to the table, so I'll just order the Spider body online and get more black CCBS parts from there too.

I love how people are wholly okay with the idea that the Toa and Makuta are just them reusing names to hook the old fans, but the Vahi is somehow very definitely a link? The Vahi gives the user the ability to control time. Alternate timelines are the domain of the Olmak.

If Tahu was the "Forgets lessons and morals" type, then he'd be all of the Toa Nuva from G1.

If they'd called him "Toa Takua" or "Takua Nuva", then the surprise would have been foiled. Strakk was pretty bad, but there were issues with the other sets. Skrall would've been so much better if he had a conventional torso build, since the angled torso made his proportions awkward, and it also made the wave's villain set really quite short. If he had been given the conventional build, he would have looked really imposing, and the properly humanoid Skrall mocs you see, like Kylernuva's do as well, but the actual set ends up looking a tad silly.Ackar was bland, being a generic Inika build in a line which at least tried to change them up a bit. I mean, he had some nice Mata red, and the flame sword piece, but he had Berix's helmet, and barely any new pieces. Vastus was pretty bad too. Hordika legs, overspecialized parts, terrible armour, terrible back construction (As in, HF2.0-bad), and a helmet that was not only overspecialized, but looked ugly on every head except the lime one. Also, lime.

Oh gods, this. I agree with everything. I loved that game. Anyway,I'd like to se Takanuva back too, thoug maybe this time he'd just be Toa Takua?

AFAIK, the scope wasn't actually part of any of the masks is featured on, it was just attached afterwards.

Hoping the MoUP will be the main villain, and Makuta might even be redeemable. As for the fears? A fear of the dark is a good thing in Bionicle. After all... "Shadows are everywhere, and where they are, so am I."

Maybe Greg assumed that the Glatorian would get similar makeovers to the previous films? Also, making them biomechanical would make them "Toa with no powers!"

It will be interesting to see, but Jaller is one of my favourite Toa, only beaten by Matoro. Chrix is just something that would be fun to build, trying to capture the skeletal look of the original.

Sadly, in today's net, Tahu will have been drawn as a deformed horse, and Gali will have been "gifted" with zeppelin-sized chesticles before the sets even hit shelves.
