I hope we get a new minifg scale one too. Since we got two Tumblers this year, this is possible as well. The set is in desperately need of a remake. It needs a windshield & the doors could be more solid.

Eternals. It was definitely different from Marvel movies as we know them. I really enjoyed it & it’s always nice seeing the universe expand.

A neat idea for sure. Stick a pot in there so the parts get a but less dirty & you’re all set.

Decent series overall. The Bard is probably my favorite compete minifig. The girl with the foal is a nice one as well, having that hat/hair in a new combo is great. Love the costumed characters, so Chili Pepper & Raccoon is good. That acorn hat is adorable. Girl with toucan is more parts good. Toucan of course. I love the hat/ponytail piece so a new one is welcome. The others are just okay to me. Would’ve been nice to get a different color mix on the husky.

76155 Arishem’s Shadow. It was a pretty cool build. A different sort of mech. Not a fan of how they did the feet(Technic structure) but we didn’t see them, so anything goes I suppose.

Nice spot! For a bit of set(obviously other folks took pictures, but they’re the ones we see in the process of doing so) continuity it would’ve been neat if it was the couple with the phone on the selfie stick & the kid instead of the other two.

I’ve asked myself why I love LEGO so much. I can’t say I remember what it was that brought me back...but building sets is a great relaxer. I love cracking that tape & dumping out a new set, it’s therapeutic. No matter what’s happening or how I feel, whenever I walk in & take a look at my town, a big grin just comes over me. I love looking at all the little scenes I’ve created. But then, the vast majority of my collection is just sitting in bags inside of plastic containers. So I see your point to an extent. Rebuilding is something I do of course, but then they go back in parts in their bags in their containers. I definitely don’t see me stopping anytime soon though despite running out of room.

Didn’t like the “Option 1/2” bit. It had too much stuff in it all & some stuff on both lists were good/bad. So I just said none of the above to all of them because none were a fit for me. I already pay way too much to LEGO, certainly not interested in something subscription service.

Maybe that’s Sandy’s less bulky twin brother?

According to Brickset’s retirement stat, you have until the end of next year to get it. I assume those dates are form TLG so they’re reliable enough. But I suppose it could retire anytime before then.

Ha, my exact thought when I first saw the piece too. These are nice but not as exciting as the previous two years have been for me. I get vignettes are popular in the AFOL community & they’re neat but not something I care too much about. Scenes are pretty good though. The Ice Festival is cool but wish it was done on a base like last years SLF was. Still, gonna be day one buys for sure as there’s a lot of love about these. New minifg prints are great & the new part colors are nice additions too.

I always assumed they used boxes because of all the parts, particularly the 2x6 plate. Not sure the bags can handle all of what comes with Bandmates. Even though they have packed quite a lot into the bags in recent years. While I haven’t seen much, it appears a lot of areas are seeing big discounts on the theme. Personally, I was never going to buy them because of the box. I stumbled upon an untouched box on the shelf so I looked up how they were packed to look for the few I wanted.

But the boxes for Bandmates were well in the works when those series came out no doubt. I’m sure it wasn’t suddenly decided to put Bandmates in boxes, but not others.

Well...can confirm. They’ve pulled all sets from the physical stores. It makes no sense to me. I’ve seen that the theme will continue into 2023, but I can’t see how. They can’t possibly be getting enough sales to justify it. Not only is it limited to not being sold in major retailers...it’s not even sold in the majority(assuming) their own stores. The hell. Even stores Target & Barnes & Noble sells sets that are D2C’s...just not this theme. If I weren’t such an impatient person while waiting for LEGO it wouldn’t bother me as much. But not having the opportunity to buy them in store is quite annoying.

I think we would’ve seen the change by now. We’ve had three or four CMF series since the Bandmates released.

I checked online & when I went there was none out so I asked about them. It’s more fun coming upon them, but it may be worth checking the site too in case your store has them in the back also.

For the polybag check out Target. I’ve been checking semi regularly for some time & it finally showed up here(one out of three stores).

For sure. There’s a reason Friends is always among the top selling themes...because it’s doing something right. It clearly filled a gap that “made it okay” for girls to play with LEGO. This gender study is absolutely trash & only a thing because it’s trendy & will get you play. I can’t even tell you the number of non LEGO accounts on Instagram were talking about it.

I’m curious how other stores, particularly in the States, are stocked on the latest wave? I ask because I’m going on the first & want to pick up the Lion Guardian but none of the (5!) stores around me have any in stock, or most of the wave. I’m hoping it’s just in between deliveries, because I heard this theme is going on, so there’s no reason to not be carrying the sets otherwise.
