Pretty excited to be getting Deathstroke. All the new minifigures sound great.

Yeah, didn't get much out of this trailer. There wasn't even much 'Fantastic' about the trailer either. It seemd more like a space odyssey than a FF movie. I know it's just the first, to whet our appetite, as it were, but a bit let down. Also, I'm about in tears of how they're ruining Doom. His backstory makes me want to slap whoever came up with it. He is one of my favorite villains, and for some this will be their first exposure to him. That makes me sad. Another thing, just watch The Winter Soldier. How do you think they'll play the Civil War aspect? Going off the ending where Wodow was being questioned, I think it's going to be a bit of a three way battle. HYDRA vs SHIELD siding with Cap vs SHIELD siding with the government, something along those lines. Much like how the comic story was Avenegers siding with the government or Cap(I never did read those spoilers that were released, so if the plot was in there, I don't know it). Since, they can't go the original way of revealing their identities. Also, how do you think they're going to play the Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver seemingly side with the Avengers? They are, after all, HYDRA experiments.

What are your guy's thoughts on the news about the aftermath of Secret Wars on the universes? It doesn't really sound like its going to be a full reboot. But, I only read one article thus far. If it is, it seems a bit of a quick turnaround from the NOW! reboot. It'll be interesting. I hope that means all the recent losses we've had will be rectified. My friend who owns the comic shop I go to is happy about it, business wise, because it'll bring in new people. Which is true, it's where I came on, with both Marvel & DC.

Great review! Loved that intro. Very nice telling/showing just about every inch of this set & it's build. It's interesting to read that you had a ripped bag, I did as well(bags 3, however). But, you fared better than I, the dark grey 8x14 plate used on the floor of Brickmans office was bent pretty severely, so much so that the plastic was white & partially broken at the bend.

I'm the Old Republic Revan book and I got to a part where they're breaking into a droid plant, a Uxiol Droid Manufacturing. A security droid was just detailed, siting the color of UDM as grey & orange. Wonder if that'll have any relevance in the movie, as the new ball droid is those colors.

Some comments, like the ones featured at the bottom of that article really bother me. They're very misleading...saying there's no imagination or creativity. Someone even went as far as to say, "Just a sign of how dumbing down works, were now even Lego now cannot let you think you must build what they say. In my day I had a bucket full and built my own x wing, shuttle, castle or anything I wanted. Now you build what's on the box and don't you dare think for yourself and get creative you might grow up to be a thinker, to many of those and we may have to answer some serious questions". I mean, really? That's about as over dramatic as they come. I'm guessing that person hasn't bought a single set in a very long time, just past by them in disgust at the store. They definitely have never been to a Con or have browsed here for 5 minutes and seen what real creativity can be achieved.

I loved it. I hear it's going to big screen debut with The Hobbit, guessing that's just US. So excited to see the Falcon again! I'm liking that new saber design too. Wonder who it belongs to?!

Just fantastic. The best part to me is the size difference. It was strange to me to have very building be nearly the same size, up until 10224 Town Hall. The video/announcement can't come fast enough now..as well as January!

Saw Maze Runner. I thought it was a great movie...had I not read the book. I haven't seen an adaptation stray so far from its book source. Fairly disappointed about that, they left out/changed a lot of what made the mystery of the book. I know minor changes are to be expected, but this was just bad.

No need to glue it. I had one of mine doing the same. Just clamp it shut tight with your fingers then fidget with the hinge a bit and that should do the trick. Mine has reminded closed ever since.

I doubt it has anything to do with LEGO Ideas results. They've never done this sort of thing before for it. Maybe it's photos for next years Bionicle.

Checking out Instagram today I see LEGO has a brick built old timey movie countdown "4" with the caption, "We have HUGE news coming your way! In 4 days time, we will be revealing something very exciting! Let the guessing game commence!" Hmm...wonder what it is. Anyone here that knows care to divulge a clue or two?
