And all the girls say I'm pretty fly - for a TIE guy ;-)

I love the vintage feel of these guys! My favorite is definitely the clawcraft. -

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
GuyDudeMan27 replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I could see it happening. Look at the planet sets. We got a minifig there. We could see figures in them. The only new one would probably be Cody, but they could reuse the CW one... -

I'd check BrickLink for prices. They're usually very reliable for this stuff. -
Both of those look great! The second one is especially good. Those techniques are truly awesome. Do you think the model is final now?

Where did you get the A-Wing? And I thought the AT-DP was pretty much out of stock everywhere.

Great job! I love these cockpit designs. This really makes me want to finish off mine. And now that I think about it, now would be a great time to post my Imperial Landing Craft.... As soon as I can make some renders....

They're there, but you have to a scroll down a lot. -
I love the new cockpit! The smoothness looks great, as does the pull out tray. Where do you live so that they don't ship?

The interior is essentially just a big plate, but a minifig can fit. I've been working on and off, but right now I'm working on SNOT wings and finishing out the body. It doesn't technically connect to the bottom, but gravity might be my ally IRL.

Nice job! I've also tried building a shuttle in LDD, and ran into the problem of the cockpit. Your solution is something I would have never imagined. It's pretty much impossible to emulate the UCS versions cockpit, which is a shame. I've come up with my own solution, which works pretty well. It's still not perfect, but... [MOC] UT-AT - Unstable Terrain Artillery Transport
GuyDudeMan27 replied to Mangetsu's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Great job! This thing is massive, and a perfect representation of the craft. The complex angle plates in the front look perfect, and capture the ships angles to a tee. The guns also look great, especially the thin connection. Is there an interior? I imagine there's a lot of technic superstructure. -

Here it is. I looked through the main index and found it there. -
Thank you! I built this guy before Rebels was on, so it takes no inspiration from there.

[MOC] AT-DP from Star Wars Rebels
GuyDudeMan27 replied to DarthTwoShedsJackson's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, the 1x4 plates go on the back of the head, where the side panels are attached, as do the two pins. I don't remember any other ones, but I can check later.- 45 replies

Great job on these! I just supported. The builds look really nice, and have a very clean feel to them. I love how the Invisible Hand can split in half. That's a great way to sneak in play features. Personally, I don't see any reason to hold back the LDD file, but to each their own. I defiantly would like to see these as actual sets, however unlikely that may be.

Nice job! It's a very small and simple build, but it gets the job done. I really like the cargo hold, and the overhead controls. I would really like to see a bigger version of this, maybe about 2 times the size. Then you could really show off what you can do. For what it is though, great job!

[SoNE Freebuild] "Transmissions"
GuyDudeMan27 replied to James Wellington's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
I like your story so far. One problem is the camera is way too zoomed in. I think if you pulled back the camera the whole thing would look better. It's ok if the build doesn't entirely take up the picture, as long as the background is nice and clean. I would suggest making an infinity sweep (Google it if you want to make one) and putting the build in there. The build itself looks good, but it's too zoomed in to see very well. I think you and your character are great, but could definitely use some work. -
Lego has their own policy of replacing parts if you want to use it in the future. When I bought my Death Star, half the instruction manual was missing, so I got a replacement.
-
Thanks. In all honesty, I could have done a lot more work before I posted it, but I guess it doesn't matter.

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
GuyDudeMan27 replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Me too. I've found that building one in that scale is very difficult. The UCS one is perfect, but unfortunately I don't believe there is any way to emulate it at a smaller scale. I may end up making my own if it is that bad. I've had my own shuttle in the works since we didn't get one last wave. This may be the right time to bust out the white parts... -

That's probably what they'll do. I wish they'd go more in depth though. At the same time, doing it that way seems kinda cheap. -

Sounds interesting. I think they may take the 3PO head mold and put a hat on it, so it makes one piece. For R2 they could make an antler mold that connects like a T-Piece. I'm glad were not getting something boring that is uninspired and easy to make. -

Sorry. I wasn't very clear. I was trying to say that I'm kinda sad that we don't get an actual cape, but the printed version will probably look really nice to compensate. -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
GuyDudeMan27 replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, two of them are the same (and they suck) and one is a UCS, so a new one makes total sense. We'll probably also see them in Rebels, which is a bonus of having a new one.
