According to Disney canon, we don't know. If you want definitive answers, look to the EU. From TLG's stand point, making varied soliders is pointless, especially when we never see any faces. It would be a nightmare for everyone. I don't care what you do with your troops. Customize them and display them as you like. That's the beauty of Lego.

Ok. I assume though that the only modifications would be on the inside, since clone troopers are about an average build. It's a faceless army I'm te respect that we never see their faces. If we never see them, what should it matter what faces they have? It doesn't automatically mean they're clones.

I honestly have no idea what you're saying here. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that English isn't your first language.

I'm lost here. The stormtroopers are a faceless army. What does it matter that TLG makes every Stormie with the same face? And non clone stormtroopers have the same armor. Every stormtrooper I've ever seen has had the exact same armor.

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
GuyDudeMan27 replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The same thing stands for the X-Wing and snowspeeder. Lego did have a lighter grey, but it was almost never used. I really wish sometimes that they'd bring it back. -
To each their own, I guess. They only do that because producing different faces would be a huge pain.

The stromtroopers that were previously clone troopers quickly became a dying race. Most stormtroopers are made up of recruits.

The shadow troopers are stormtroopers. They have the same print as the OT ones from the ISD. The guards make infinitely more sense if the troopers are stormtroopers, since both are from the OT. You could use them in a Republic army, but I prefer to keep my PT (including CW) and OT separate.

If you email Customer Service they will. I had a Death Star manual with ~20 pages missing and they expressed shipped it to me for free. It sounds like the spelling error is still there though.

Hit the nail on the head. What I really should have said is that it looks like an official mold, despite being made up of normal parts.

Looks really good! I like that you actually built most of it opposed to using an existing mold. The Falcon is a bit rough though...

These are great speeders! I love the dark blue one, because it's big. It looks like an awesome space motorcycle. The sand blue one is just as good, but I'm not a huge fan of the colors. That, and the shape isn't as cool as the other one. I'd love to see any other speeders you design! Keep up the good work!

Actually, I didn't use tiles. The floor is all snot, but I agree it could look more consistent.

Quick mods to 75053's mini Speeder Bike

No, not really. I was just wondering. -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

I think we can all agree that we needed more Ep 2 and 3 sets, but let's keep the discussion on topic. Not trying to micromod but... -
Quick mods to 75053's mini Speeder Bike
GuyDudeMan27 replied to ResIpsaLoquitur's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You know, I kinda like this thing. For an advent calender build with slight mods, it look pretty accurate. I really like the idea of taking a mini build like this and modifying it. Do you have any plans for more like this? -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
GuyDudeMan27 replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I agree. Ep 2 and 3 have been criminally underdone, compared to the volume of Ep 1 sets. With the new trilogy, OT sets, if anything, will be more prosperous than the others, except of course for the Ep 7 sets. -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

I'm quite disappointed by another Sith Infiltrator. I haven't picked one up because they've never sparked my interest enough. The last one wasn't very well built, and here's to me hoping this one is actually decent. I don't think I'll be picking it up, unless the astromech is an exclusive. Then I'll get it. -
[MOC] WIP modifying LEGO 75095 UCS TIE fighter
GuyDudeMan27 replied to sparkart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Really good job! I can't wait to see this completed and in the flesh. I think it'll end up looking better than TLGs. -
Yep. The closest thing was in the clone trooper battle pack and the Clone Turbo Tank, but both of those had serious flaws, the first not even being an AT-RT, the second awkward when standing and just not a good representation of the vehicle. TLGs huge versions are pretty accurate, but just not playable. I think accuracy got the best of them on those.

[MOC] Old Republic - Crimson Pilgrim
GuyDudeMan27 replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I don't thinks it's BEAVeR level, but... I think for a first try, the interior is just fine, only that it looks a bit too much like the Falcon 'in universe'. I'd love to see any future updates! -
Thanks guys! I'm glad you like it I'd love it too! They might not all be a nice dark green but... I'm currently working on a large project but when I take breaks from it (which is often) I'll work on this. I feel like the angles are pretty accurate, but I didn't work off any reference when building it. I just thought of how an AT-RT should look If you do build it, I'd love to see it!
-
Hi guys! Today, I have my latest model, an AT-RT I built for LN.01354's MOC contest on his Flickr group, Lego Star Wars: MOCs 'n' Shots. It ended up winning first place over one other entry. But, that's besides the point. I'm really happy with the results of this AT-RT, since it fits a good scale and looks relatively close to some source material. I built it from the ground up, the feet being the hardest. I settled for half snot, which looks pretty good in the end. Full snot would have been nice, but it didn't work out I also made a breakdown for this guy, just in case anyone wants to build it. It was my first shot at a breakdown, so any suggestions on what to improve are appreciated. Without and further ado, here are the pictures! AT-RT by GuyDudeMan27, on Flickr AT-RT Breakdown by GuyDudeMan27, on Flickr Any comments and criticisms are welcome, so feel free to comment.

Now it looks up to snuff with the Crimson Pilgrim! The technique for the windscreen is great, as is the back. It makes an almost perfect ball, which looks really good. If you do make an accompaniment to the Crimson Pilgrim, I'd love to see this somewhere on board!

Looks great! I'm a big fan of swift craft myself, and this looks like a true speed demon. I love the idea of sith speeders, especially when they are very practical. The sith warrior looks perfect sitting there. Keep building TomatoSoup!
