[MOC] Street/Drift car
filsawgood replied to HorcikDesigns's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It looks cool! I especially like the wheels - because they are not only beautiful and stylish look, but also have a positive offset - and this is very important for small models -
Hi guys! Today I finished another lowwww project along with Drift Van and Subaru Forester. Now it's Slammed JDM pickup. At this time, I was inspired to build a pickup Nissan Datsun (Nissan Hardbody) mid-90's in D21 body The model is based on rear-wheel drive chassis with independent suspension front and rear axle. Buggy motor is responsible for the nimble movements of pickup space, and servo motor helps to dodge all of a sudden in the way of obstacles. Controlled all so beloved by me, SBrick, and electrician feeds LiPo pack. With the receiver from LEGO model is unlikely to make friends, because he would kill her at first dumb on turn - very high speed, but not so on the reliability front end :) The design of the rear suspension allows the use of one buggy motor and a pair of L-Motors, which are also good model piles, given that the pickup weight is 750 grams. [MOC] Off-road Truck 6x6
filsawgood replied to KirTech LAB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Not bad for a demonstration of the motor capabilities, but it is not their element. On the off-roads rules XL and L motors. Maybe I'm carp, but the roof of a tall cab, there can be placed a second row of seats like in IMax -

Very nice moc! -
Hi everybody! Today I present to you my first experience of construction Trial Truck! During this year I was looking for your ideal 4x4 chassis. And in the end I came to this building. In the final, which turned this freak on 4 wheels medium size range (80-82 mm). The main idea of this project was the task of the displacement of the center of gravity down and forward is not at the expense of detail, as well as the compulsory use of the portal gears on both axes for high permeability and stability of large CG. The power installation in the form of two twin L motors located in the rear axle, where through the reduction gear torque is distributed to the axle gears back and forth, and then the rotation of spreads on all wheels through a gantry gearboxes. This arrangement limits the transverse rear axle moves up one degree of freedom. Yes, the rear wheels are posted on the obstacles, but discomfort on the track it does not deliver. Servo motor for steering is mounted on the front axle, which also lowers the CG and the sprung mass model. Power - LiPo, management - Sbrick. Number of pieces - 875 pieces Weight - 950 grams More photos you can find on my flickr and blog

"Toyotas....everywhere is toyotas" - these are your thoughts? Thanks! I'm actually not tied to a particular model of car. In my head was rather a collective image of the American off-roaders 80-90 years. And I decided to remove the roof looking at the car: Thanks! This idea with speakers I borrowed from this car. Everyone remembers this monster?? Not to say that I am delighted with the Porsche, but it's too cruel :)

Hi guys! Today I am pleased to present new MOC - RANCHER 4x4. The basis of this model was a completely new chassis, the creation of which took me almost two months. The model is based on the support frame mounted with its two L motors, and a small battery pack. To fasten the frame of continuous two gantry axles - which significantly increases the reliability of the transmission. Servo motor is mounted directly on the front axle. As I chose the stake so beloved by all, but it is quite rare on the Tumbler wheel - 81,6x44 mm. I think this is one of the best wheels from LEGO, along with 94,3x38 from the Unimog. And I'll show you how to use it to modify the set LEGO 10248 Ferrari F40 :) Specifications and features: Four-wheel drive, portal axles uncut; Tires 81,6x44 (Tumbler) 2L motors - the drive motor; Servo motor - steering; 3xLED - lights; Small battery pack; Modular design - a body attached to the chassis by 4 points; Opened doors, hood and door body

Thank you! As practice shows - 62 tires better cling obstacles than off-road tires LEGO, for example 68 mm. I was convinced to compete in trials. 68 mm tyres will fit on this model with steering beam of front axle 9L.

Hi everyone! Another one modification of this model, this time a final/ Goodbye roof :) Also, I am a little changed front axle - now possible friction of the wheels on it when using 68 mm tires. And if you wish you can now deliver and 82mm :)) The chassis has remained almost unchanged. But the body is lighter by 60 grams, at such a short base of the car - this is essential, since the center of gravity of the model is quite high.
