  1. These would be helpful - I was planning on catching you @ BV & take some photos of the attachments - I shall be there as part of the GBC & SydLug teams
  2. Thanks for the instructions - it was a challenging build, but worth it. A fun creation IMG_1571 by OneMoreRobot_NZ, on Flickr OMR
  3. Hi Folks, I completed my copy of this model - a couple of small mods; SBrick control with a basic (for now) iPhone interface Added an LPG bottle, since this is the most common forklift configuration in Australia Changed the seat, as other folk have mentioned, it was out of scale & I found the black colour tended to become lost so it is now LBG/DBG OMR IMG_1569 by OneMoreRobot_NZ, on Flickr IMG_1570 by OneMoreRobot_NZ, on Flickr
  4. Nice demonstration -thanks Perhaps you could show 2-3 u-joints connected together correctly & incorrectly referencing the indicator groove on each end for the folks who don't understand Cool model as well :-)
  5. Excellent Jurgen, thanks for another cool piece of equipment - this shall be my summer machinery project along with a bunch of GBC's - SBrick version of course. Have you made an SBrick control interface?
  6. Cool build - well done. Are you planning instructions?
  7. Excellent model, thanks for sharing. Shall look forward to Mr Tekneex's instructions.
  8. Hi Blakbird, Excellent initiative - Thanks in advance. I have reverse engineered the Fork to Fork with Snake a couple of weeks ago & have included it as part of my GBC display at a show, it is an impressive module & very reliable. I can send detailed photos. The Bucket Wheel lift I built earlier this year, displayed it at a two-day show with some reliability problems, have since reworked it including adding another level (two arms per side) same as Akiyuki has done in resent GBC show videos, I included a zig zag exit & have displayed it a couple of times with excellent reliability. I started LDD files, especially for the difficult buckets plus I can send detailed photos. I built the 6-heads lift from the LDD file from the German Doktor Brick site, same for the fork lift. May I also suggest the Cardan lift by Thorbjörn Söderstedt, an excellent & reliable module. Here is the Fork to Fork with Snake - apologies for the poor smartphone photos. 9. Nice build, cool side profile. Like interior ideas incl. handbrake. IR receiver (like others have said), Wheels, Rear wing / spoiler & Rear lights could benefit from further refinement, colour choice may confuse public @ a show, if ever displayed - Just agree with the expert visitors & call it a "Ferrari Lamborghini" Still the best username on BL Keep up the good work. OMR
  10. Nice MOC - look forward to updates as it becomes more refined, just like a real BMW
  11. Excellent work KevinMoo, both the design & instructions are first class, I look forward to building this in the near future.
  12. Sorry Doc, I overlooked your reply. Cost, really don't know, all four were built over several months amongst other projects using chrome parts, at a guess it would be a couple of hundred each motor. For the Lincoln - yes I think a chromed version would work - it would look spectacular on display at shows - thinking of two versions, one standard & another with HotRod treatment with a blown engine etc...
  13. No, worked out fine using flex axles, mostly 19L - cheaper @ tlg than BL. An excellent design to start with, l just wanted to be 100% Lego with my build since I display & did'nt want to waste time explaining the hoses, should not make much difference visually either way it's built. OMR

  15. Enjoyable build, pleasure to own, larger than expected, instantly recognisable, the front wheels were plated metallic silver especially by Chrome Block City. 20. Just wanted to say thank you to Oracid for this post, I built 3 of the V2.0 turntables and used them at a recent Lego show. They worked faultlessly for two days solid displaying some supercars I built. Some AFOL trainspotters made the usual comments about 'microwave oven motors' - however none of these were present! Even some visitors spotted the turntables were made from Lego Technic - brilliant!, I used laser cut 2.0mm stainless steel as the deck. Sure I'm going to build more now.... Cheers OMR
  21. Yes, I'm currently building the White & Black version, I bought a bunch of 19L white flex axles and fabricate to the required length by cutting & welding, I made a post earlier this year on the method. Hint, when shortening flex axles, cut & join near the section where the cross section becomes round, with practice the join is undetectable. Expecting to complete my model in 1 - 2 weeks, happy to post photos if anyone is interested.
  22. Nice little MOC, well done. Great username, kudos getting that on the front page.
