  1. This is wonderful news, ok, initially I was deeply concerned like most eurobrickers, however after reading an interview on another site with a spokemuppet from TLG all fears & concerns have been dismissed. Turns out TLG are no longer corporate bullies and only have the interests of the AFOL community at heart, that’s why they’re helping us all buy purchasing a small and insignificant website with a mission of helping AFOLs find the best deals for parts and to foster growth for small traders. Reading between the lines from the TLG spin doctor I have figured out their evil master-plan. leveraging tlgs shipping volumes all BL orders over $150 will receive free shipping. BL stores will be able to purchase discounted sets in plain packaging without instruction books with parts packaged by type for ease of sortation. buyers will be able to order current production parts in any tlg colour they wish, a small delay may occur. Orders placed with your favourite bl seller will be fulfilled and shipped from tlg with a commission to the seller. Prices will go down across the board, sellers with outrageous pricing or sneaky fees will be delisted after three complaints. AFOL designs on studio shall retain the ip of the designer. New sets will be released digitally to the afol community prior to manufacturing so errors and improvements can be incorporated into production. I may have had a large dose of ketamine recently in hospital and could still be hallucinating
  2. This is not going to end well, TLG want their cake & eat it also. Will Bricks & Pieces become a BL store? Average prices will go up NOT down. Arise BL 2.0 OMR
  3. Excellent as always, thanks for sharing
  4. Very cool, looks Rock Solid now, any chance of some instructions for this version?
  5. Nice improvements, seams considerably more reliable with the incline conveyor, good colour combo.
  6. Nice improvements, looks like a bumblebee in that Colour pallet, on the build list.
  7. Thanks Berthil for all the recent updates, with 3 copies under various stages of construction you have given me considerable additional work tearing-down & rebuilding :-) Something went wobbly with the software on step 299 on the latest version. Cheers OMR
  8. Excellent work, thanks for sharing. ?
  9. Great effort and promotion for Technic, well done & welcome to the Hunter Valley, NSW, Au ?
  10. Yes, this is a good one - think I'll build it & add some chrome. Congrats on crafting such a fine model and thanks for making instructions.
  11. Top notch design and build, thanks for sharing Sir
  12. Well done @Berthil excellent enhancements, respect
  13. Excellent rendition of a 'W' engine, I like. :-)
  14. The rubber innertube will never trough because of the tube thickness plus the conveyor is too short i.e the transition from the vee of the idler sets to the flat pulleys is non-existent. Try using some fabric material that is flexible in both warp & weft then paint with some liquid neoprene so it looks like a rubber belt. Weight of product (rocks / bricks) on belt will help make it trough. cheers OMR
  15. The Energy Chain looks excellent & thanks for sharing the info about Mindsensor flexicables - I shall start using them myself. Need to route the cable for the other Medium motor through it as well. Cheers OMR
  16. Nice work David, I've often thought about a ball counting unit for shows since 'How many balls' is a common question asked by visitors and would certainly be an area of interest watching the numbers add up. I shall build it and add to my collection of GBC's & give you some feedback. OMR
  17. Thanks Courbet, nice work on the instructions, looking forward to building this great module.
  18. Wow Yoann & Courbet - that's gotta be a record, well done ?? ⚽️ ?
  19. After viewing three prototype videos - I'm now dizzy ?
  20. Excellent teamwork, thanks for the update and instructions. So interesting how Akiyuki never rests and continues to fine-tune a module. I look forward to building this version.
  21. Thanks Lochie for creating this excellent model, I look forward to building when instructions are ready. Cheers ??
  22. Thank you Sariel for an excellent & detailed review. Based on the prerelease images & hype I was much excited for the release of 42070. The reissue of 32016 #3 connector in red Rumours of a high retail price chimed warning bells, OK must be worth it for sure, TLG wouldn't price gouge it's customers would they? This review has bought considerable disappointment as most folks above have already pointed out. Perhaps TLG now depend on the AFOL community to invest time & resources correcting their shortcomings & design flaws to deliver the true essence of 42070. @nerdsforprez are you a price apologist for TLG?
  23. Excellent machine, teamwork and instructions another GBC to build & show for folks around the world to enjoy. ??⚽️
