  1. Looks good, but the hull looks too wide. I might use your shooting mechanism in a Sturmtiger.
  2. With the string, could I use sewing thread (I don't want to have and make a specific BL order for string.)
  3. Not sure what to build, maybe a construction vehicle or tank of some sort. And why can't we use PF parts ?
  4. maybe thats why they ended the Bionicle series.
  5. you guys forgot these these parts are really useless, but they might have a use as a offset for some type of mechanism
  6. looked at the underside of the chassis of the FAMO and it doesn't have front wheel drive
  7. you could get a adapter to usb
  8. well i have never had axles wind up too much but a XL motor will shred single bevel gears without a problem.
  9. The only problem is Thai don't have a servo motor and I will also have a crane at the back of the model.
  10. This will be for my upcoming Sd.kfz 9 famo and that is a really long half track and its like 70 studs long in 1/15th scale
  11. The only problem is that I have only 2 diffs.
  12. yeah I think a diffrential would work best, and I wouldn't have to worry about it. I could also have that differential be locked too.
  13. I don't think I will have problems with the clutch drive rings because there is a linear actuator keeping them in place and a linear gearbox would be too long, I think what I have right now works the best.
  14. I'm planning to build a halftrack in the next month or so and I'm wondering if it has front wheel drive and driven by the tracks, should I have a different ratio for the front wheels and for the tracks. Because there is a difference between the circumference of the wheel and the number of tracks moved by a sprocket in a rotation. Also there will be a braking mechanism for the drive sprockets for turning.
  15. It's nice to see that it has AWD and some suspension in the rear, the steering could have been improved with a small linear actuator and M motor. (It would cost less than the servo)
  16. well i installed a 2 speed transmission (3 if you include neutral). The transmission has a 1:1, neutral , and 12:20. This is then connected to the final drive where the torque is increasesed by another 12:20. The transmission and selector only extend to the back to the end of the 3rd Road wheel and the 4th and 5th are where the turret traverse is located. Lego Tiger I Ausf. E 1/15 (RC) by Tommy Styrvoky, on Flickr
  17. i thought about milling some parts but those would just grind away at the beams/holes.
  18. I have found similar problems with grinding of parts and also bending of load bearing axles and idler and drive sprockets axles too.
  19. I don't think it will be going away anytime soon, lego is the 2nd largest toy maker in the world (next to Mattel) and I think that they don't want to upset the technic community.
  20. Maybe something with a small turntable instead of a large one and a subtractor might not work because I have the torsion bars below in the hull.
  21. That seems a little steep for the price, but if it had PF parts then It might be worth it.
