  4. good :) Tell me something we will have then two Volvo sets in near future correct? The existing "excavator" (loader) and New "bicket wheel" ? Regards
  5. Ok. Then I have the newer version or some kind of mixed. I need to check again the rear suspension. Thank you. Regards
  6. zux - which is the key difference between earlier and later model set? I wonder which one I have. Regards
  7. Hello all. I have just recently bought 4 sets for approximately 20€ on polish equivalent of Ebay. I knew that all the sets were incomplete. There where: 8829 (94%), 8252 (93%), 8235 (96%) and the reason that I got auction the 8858 in about 97-8% completed. A quick look when I got them and in my opinion on 8858 there are missing few half brushes one shock absorber and son other small parts (doind the inventory). The set has been turn a part and that I noticed was the fact that most likely it was never dismounted since some one has build it when it was new. I could not separate some parts (plates and bricks) and especially black plates have nice quantity of dust, while the space that was under lets sag brick is brand new. Wheels rims are yellow... :( rather than white... So I came with idea that I will rebuild it completely. I have already started with rims and tires. Next will be full inventory. I put pictures of this "resurrection" and continue this post as a kind of a blog. Once I return from holidays I will add new news. Regards
  8. Looks like the B model of 42028....only that was yellow
  9. Well that thing looks fine, useful in region where it is needed. Still I believe that what they should do is something more common than what you have shown.
  10. it has to be for kids first - do not look at is as an AFOL ... then has to be real machine and something that Lego can sell.
  11. Blakbird you read my mind :) as I was thinking how to modify the rear suspension of this set 8858 :)
  12. How small "independent" rear wheel driven suspenssion can be build with "classic" technic parts ? Those up to 1999?
  13. My return was related to "rebuild" of the 8862 - it spent almost 5 years been covered by dust.... then I got (again) buggy 8840 :) and I got to the bright side :)
  14. You did a great work by building this replica - can you try to add P.F. as it may have done Lego? Try at least :) Thank you in advance, regards
  15. I really do like this Police Interceptor - will be perfect toy for my kid :) Somewhere in the line back few pages someone mentioned about new Fake Engine - this Huge Massive V8 that will be in the "super car". Does anyone have more details on this? As I do not think that Lego did a new fake engine.... Just to recall the biggest V8 engine had set 8880 , due to it shape.
  16. Picture we want picture :) p.s. looks like Blakbird has a competitor :) :)
  17. do you think TLG would put in it 5 PF motors as it is been described on the image in the link you provided ?This is a reproduction of the legendary isodiametric tractor Claas "Xerion" 5000. The model is equipped with five PF motors: -2 Power Function Motors XL for the 4x4 wheel-drive -2 Power Functions "M" Motors for the front and rear linkage -1 Power Functions Servo Motor for the steering.
  18. cannot agree with you more on this, my 2,8 year son just loves them (by the way his perferable set to play with is 8862, 8868 and 42037) especially the future 42049 :) :)
  19. 42045 Hydroplane Racer: is it my impression but the engine block is silver as well as exhaust pipes.... correct me if I am wrong. regards.
  20. with regards to the wheels , take the tracks from 42028 and join them all in one revert "track" you will get a quite big wheel. Question is if it would not be too expensive... and still you will need to make a rim for it.
  21. oh yes there have been, both in the past as in current models .... just take a look at this list : New: 42000 42035 Old 8853 8838
  22. Of the official sets I did not really found any super dificulty to build one - Ok some of them took hours but were build after all. My very first Technic 8841 - I could not build the main model :) so I did some of the alternatives ones. Only after some time I had completed the main one. Later when I was about 12 I got 8862 - build it for 5 or 6 hours :) :) Now a days I think more dificult for me is unbuild :) rather then building :)
