RohanBeckett - now here in Poland we have winter :) and there is actually pretty low volume of sun light :) But as I took those rims and expose to the daylight the results can be seen above few post up :) In general, the model has been finished and shortly I will make new pictures of it and post them here :) Thanks to all :)

Rims & Tires: Missing parts found and added : 10 x Light Gray Technic Bush 1/2 Toothed Type II 3 x Light Gray Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Toggle Joint Toothed 1 x Red Slope 45 2 x 1 3 x Black Technic, Axle 2 Pretty low count of missing parts ? Also there are no parts for the alternative model, but since I do not plan to build it then I do no worry.
  4. Trango , so far no one has seen of Lego Technic 42051 Airport Rescue more then a picture long posts ago from the Catalogue ... both Jim and Pawel have not receive it for Review (if I am correctly) we do not know if Lego did not took it out for some reconstruction/reviesion ... or what

  8. Jim can you or Sariel tell us how many new parts there are ? I am not asking for 100% confirmation or pictures as I presume still those cannot be shown as per your policy. Are there many? Is the somekind of revolution? Regards
  9. The rims in "liguid" have been exposed to sun light - lets see then how it will work. In the mean time this is how the 8858 looked like when I was looking for it in auction : Now it is time to do the checkout of missing parts that I hope will not be many :) New updated will be provided shortly regards

  12. erelender I used that %3 hydrogen peroxide :) , so far rims have been taking bath for aprox. 4 weeks :) Still yellow :)
  13. OK, and which was the original price of 8043? Do you recall? I see that by additional parts you have tripple the price of 42006 :) regards
  14. Hello again The “Resurrection” has begun. The set as I got it was turn a part and mixed within in other sets that I acquired and shipped in a plastic bag. I took the part that I believed were from the 8858 original set and started to clean them. As you may see they were pretty “cleaned” J Once all the parts landed in to box for cleaning I started to “wash” rims with objective to return their white color, you may notice how yellow they become. Then I worked on tires them self. I have used a real tire cleaner and results are immediately visible (rubber is a rubber). All the pieces are clean and dry, so I started to count them – this is still in progress due to lack of time I will keep this post updated with more pictures and progresses Gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=560356 Regards
  15. comparing the original price of the 42006 + the price of parts (PF) that you added have you reached or overbilled the original price of 8043 ?
  16. Lego is making a loop :) but that nice :) I always wanted to see OLD sets in a new version I took someone picture from Brickshelf to update it

  22. efferman -> a one piece Straight six. 9 studs long -> this looks like engine block :) :) just make a pistons for it and we have perfect "small fake engine" :)

  24. Hi I am not sure if this is the best place, but from all the Technic bricks/parts that have been end-dated which one you miss most?
