me too, by the way if Volvo is supposed to be with pneumatics, then how many it will have? Also of which kind, definitely the V2 system. And I do hope that it will not have the B model but will allow builder to made different combinations as in real-life one .About the tractor, well what revolutionary Lego can do in it ? I d not have any wonder list on the IP Car as it is too expensive for me... but it will de indeed a good asset for others.. :)

Stripped Test Car
AOW replied to Grosse Kind's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The best thing about the 8865 set was the fact that it was very sophisticated back then when they made it - by the way, does any one knows who design it? Also another great thing of it was that it was very hard made - what I mean by that - due to the multiple use of Technic Bricks they made it very strong - as I said my 2 year old son sit on it and it survived! Try to do that with new sets ... they have a tendency to bend... One day I will buy it again that is for sure. Regards -

I got the 8865 like two years ago (finally I had it) and it did came with the old pins - nightmare to remove them ! But the thing about old sets is - they were pretty hard to break! My one year old son back then sit on it , throw it , my wife throw it from the 1st floor - it survived all ! I was amazed how strong it was. Now I exchange it fro 8868. But I have great memories of this set It will me for ever one of the most iconic sets of all time - and the sound of that V4 engine ! -

desert752 do you have in your collection for example 42028 or 42038 and if so could you test how the tracks work on non-motor set ? I have 42028 that my 3 year son plays most and the smooth surfice kills all play.... thanks for sharing by the way ! -

WOW it does look like an official set ! Well Done ! My favorite so far -
When the Toy Fair starts so that we could see the first photos ? Is it on the 27th ? With regards to the Volvo - we know that the price is getting higher once they add PF into the set. So if the Pneumatic V2 is added without motor (medium i.e.) it could still be at the reasonable price. Remember that the licence costs... so without count of parts we do not know what size of the model will be... I truly hope I will be worth to buy and play with it. Claas - well we did had in the past tractors that were costly due to parts been used in it. I could be a mechanical wonder. BWE - I do not like the kind of machine (real one) OK it does look impressive due to it size - but in terms of Lego set it will be (could be) a good source of parts - it could be size match to the current Mobile Crane :) All above are my speculations only as I do not have any source of seen them Regards
