    I as a kid always wanted a lego monorail. but i never got one :( not the space-monorails or my absolute number one, the airport shuttle. and i was sad for a very long time :( But then, a couple of months ago i got hold of a complete track, motor and cars. i finally got my monorail! Now i only needed to build the train it self. if i was to build the airportshuttle i needed to bricklink the red battery box and the motor cover. but i could also build a creation of my own searching for inspiration i stumbled upon this amazing Maglev recreation by Ratz (more info: http://www.1000steine.de/de/gemeinschaft/forum/?entry=1&id=38362 ) I recreated it in LDD, and i thought... what if i make a red one? I could make a new version of the airportshuttle! so i modded this design to work on elevations and so it would look more like the airport shuttle. Got my bricklink on and this is what i came up with: let me know what you think SollX

    Hi thanks. To me the minifig scale is not a perfect scale. It is building a moc as it could be a lego city lego set. And you bust be able to fit a minifig. I have seen your moc's, and i deffenetly apriciate your work. The cars are very reconisable Altough it is not my style.

    Thanks for the review, and for showing how those cars are whithout the stickers. This set has the best and the worst of the speedchampions theme. The old and the new camaro. The old Camaro is pretty awesome, maybe because i looks like one. even without the stickers. The new Camaro is a great example of why i really "dislike" (i am being nice) the speedchampions. I can not believe that they where like: WOW that thing is awesome.. lets make a official set out of it! It looks like a the real Camaro the same way i look like Brat Pitt (and i don't) because i also have a nose. There is a lot of playability in these sets, and that is what still makes them good sets as toys.

    The only way for lego to not make any expensive sets, is if we do not constantly whine about the modulars being to small, AND if we do not buy them at those prices.. The biggest problem is that there are to manny people buying the very expensive sets, like the Ghostbusters set. I was shocked when i saw that price. i thought that no one (except some ghostbuster fans) was paying for that. But we do... so lego knows they can make other sets at those prices.

    Thank you for your comments It wasn't a cheap solution to use the popsicle as the mirror, but i think it looks the best. To bad there are no gray or chrome popsicles :P

    I have seen a lot of different people trying to build the clssic T1 VW bus in minifig scale. Though i never think they are really correct, and i thought it could not be done. Then one day i found myself designing one. I still think that it is not possible to build one in this scale. But by making a bit of a ROD out of it, i think i got pretty close. Let me know what you think. and the back:

    I would also start with some research. find pictures (google) of government buildings. Then try to replicate the look of the ones you like in LDD. then start ordering the parts you do not have yourself (bricklink or lego pick a brick)

    If it is going to be the "Assambly Square" it probably means that that screenshot that gave us that information was not fake. In that case.... we know we have to wait until November. So we can stop speculating, unless someone knows more about it. :

    one look at the lampposts wil tell you immediately that this is not an official lego design. and therefor not the new modular. And it is way to dull to be so.

    The boring van was the reason i didnt like the original set. Your version looks a lot better. I like the nosejob and the black in the rear. It lookt more like a tough SUV. I am not sure about the weels. The truck shoult be lowered with these wheels, or the wheels should be more offroad maybe

    Oww.. Eeuhm yes i wanted to type "she" but ometime the s doen't work ;) sorry And yes the chair and sofa are verry inventive. And they don't look as bulky as 4 wide chairs (wich i can't stand).

    That is not to difficult. I think he used ixi bricks with one side stud or a hole and technic pins to attach to the side plates, and a curved 2x2 slope for the rear Verry inventive
