Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
jonwil replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I personally want a hospital, that would go on the same "must buy" list the police station did this year (a great set and one I already added to my collection) -
The Retro Bowling Alley is probably the one set out of that lot that I have any interest in (if any) although no doubt the budget wont allow for it given all the stuff I have bought lately (like the Infinity Gauntlet)

Disappointed that Australia is getting shafted by LEGO again with the Marvel CMF not comming to Australia until October (even though they release September 1st everywhere else) -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

My experience with Bricks & Pieces is that (from what I can see looking at the labels) they get sent to Australia in some sort of bulk shipment and are then handed to Australia Post for local delivery around the country. -

Just finished building the Infinity Gauntlet. Really cool set and I love that you can pose the fingers. -
A WRX (perhaps in the classic plaint job used by Subaru's world rally team) would be cool to see.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

There is at least one listing (unsure if using genuine LEGO parts or knock-off crap) for the model on eBay so its clearly out there. -
A Gotham City Police Department is one of the few Batman/DC sets I might actually buy (I collect police stations and have bought all of the recent ones including the 2020 modular police station and it would be very hard to pass over a GCPD even though I am most definitely not a Batman guy)
-
Maybe a proper Wayne Manor build (not what we got with all the joker crap)
-
Maybe what could work is a "Master Builder" style Batcave similar in size/price to the recent Star Wars Cantina. More room for all the various Bat-gadgets and parking space for the Bat-vehicles (not the UCS ones, the minifig scale ones)

With the success of the Daily Bugle set, I wonder if LEGO has considered doing a similar large building/play set for DC Comics. Are there any buildings in the DC universe that are iconic enough?

Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

I can't see the Baxter Building or X-Mansion showing up in LEGO form so long as Marvel continues to push Avengers and Spider-Man rather than X-Men and Fantastic Four (both in on-screen content and in toys/product) -
Picked up a pair of the Adidas ZX 8000 LEGO shoes in the grey today from the local Adidas outlet store here in Australia. I needed a new pair of shoes and wanted to go for something better than the cheap crap I have bought in the past, hopefully I didn't waste money buying these as actual everyday wear walking shoes (in terms of getting something that is comfortable and wont wear out after a couple months like the cheap stuff)

Not sure about the figs but my favorite part from all of Vidiyo is the axe shaped guitar.

The Nanny just doesn't have the popularity of Friends or Seinfeld.

Picked up the Bro Thor set today, great little set and its got all sorts of cool details in it. -
I think if they have a legit reason why they wont do Avatar (e.g. can't get the license or something) they should just come out and block Avatar as an allowed project. Same with Zelda or any other IP that keeps comming up and keeps being rejected. They don't even need to give a reason why, they just need to add that IP to the list of blocked IPs alongside all the other blocked IPs.

Given that the use of wild animals (elephants, big cats, monkeys/apes etc) in circuses seems to be something people no longer view as appropriate these days maybe a circus train with animals wouldn't be the best idea.

I am liking the advent calendar. I can finally get an Infinity Gauntlet and all the stones as well as those energy effect pieces in trans-blue (which I can always use more of for various things) plus the fig selection isn't that bad (Iron Man ugly sweater is cool for example) -
A tavern won't happen for obvious reasons.

These look good, I will be picking a few up for sure (even though I don't have Disney Plus and have never seen any of the TV shows they go to). -
Pics of the S2 Band Mates are on brickset.com.

Currently building this set and I like it. Is this the first time LEGO has ever included something representing a computer mouse in a set?

Cheers will never happen for obvious reasons.

Checking the instructions online it looks like I have all the parts for the drum kit on the pirate ship including the HP wands being used as drum sticks. And checking Bricklink it looks like I own all the guitars in their database (in all the known colors including the B&P-only tan acoustic guitar). I have both colors of keytar, the violin, the violin case and even the round stickered sign piece lute from that one Elves set. I think the only stringed instruments I am missing are the Duplo guitar (because I don't do Duplo) and some stuff from that Dreamworks movie that's kinda music themed and that I refuse to speak the name of (or own any of the parts/sets from) because of how bad it is unless there is something missing from the BL database (i.e. a stickered part that hasn't been added yet) or a part that isn't comming up under a search for "guitar" or "violin".
