Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion

I think the set is not bad given that its a 4+ set. -
I want to see a return to the larger Creator houses (like the 2013 Family House, the 2011 Hillside House or other similar large sized houses.

What they could make (and IIRC haven't made) is a truck with a skip bin on the back .One of those open bins that people hire for construction sites or other places where lots of rubbish is to be generated.

Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

If the rumors are true and the advent calendar includes all the cool stuff its rumored to be including (like an infinity gauntlet with all the stones) then it might actually be worth buying (unlike most advent calendars) -

No doubt production limits (i.e. the continuing increased demand for products etc) are to blame for why some things get released later in one market than in another. -

Is it true that the designer of the Bugle wanted to put one of the Fantastic Four in there? That would have been awesome if they had been able to do it... -

There is no way they would do a Daily Bugle set and not include Jameson, that would be like doing a Batcave set and not including Batman. -

With 2021 being animal heavy, I suspect 2022 will be something different like coast guard or something. -

Do we know of the European release date for the Marvel sets? -
Does Disney actually own the rights to Oswald? I know that the rights to the Oswald cartoons were owned back then by Universal (who just contracted Disney to produce the animations) and that Disney created Mickey Mouse because he wanted a character he actually had full control over. Or did Disney somehow re-acquire the rights to Oswald from Universal at some point? My wish list for Disney future series: Moana (they did Anna and Elsa and Jasmine and others in minifig form in CMFs even though they had only previously been seen in minidoll form so I don't see why Moana couldn't work the same way) Snow White (again a character that could be translated from minidoll to minifig and work) Tarzan (from the 90s animated film) Ralph (from Wreck-it Ralph) Felix (also from Wreck-it Ralph) Pete Some (or all) of the emotions from Inside Out. Maybe (assuming they are in scope) some more characters from TRON.

The infinity gauntlet set should go good with the Iron Man helmet I bought last year. -
Will have to see what I can find at the various Coles stores I can get to in hopes there is one that has something worth buying (the pirate, the mermaid or maybe some of the blind-box figs)

How sure are we that we are getting a D2C Frozen Castle and that the reports about a "frozen castle" aren't just talking about https://brickset.com/sets/43194-1/Frozen-Ice-Castle? -
Neither are retired here in Australia either.

I am well aware of that but I was stupid and didn't buy him when S1 was out and now the price has gone up too much With Disney S2 I was smart and bought all the good characters including all 4 ducks. -

I think the sets are pretty good. The animals are nice and will go great in my zoo. This may well be one of the few City sub-themes where I buy all the sets (although I do own all the medical sets except the 2016 airplane and I did pick up the entire Sky Police line) Although that will obviously depend on how much they cost here in Australia and how hard they are to get on discount (hopefully none of them end up being exclusive to retailers that never discount) -
Which store was that? And did they have any others at that price? (that price would be good for the Punk Pirate)

Have the printed bees from the Winnie the Pooh set been for sale on B&P? -
If they are basing it on the typewriter used by Ole Kirk Christensen, I wonder if that means it would have the Danish keyboard layout (did Danish typewriters have a different layout?) Although if they have all the letters then you could always arrange it in whatever layout you want. (including niche stuff like Dvorak :) I wonder if they will do prints or stickers for the typewriter keys...

It looks like that's a vet of some description who is going to do some sort of medical check on the elephant...

I think (assuming the licensing can be sorted out) the Wonka set has a good chance. The movie is popular with kids (and gets regular replays on TV at least where I am) but also popular with adults. And its small enough that it could hit the right price point that its not out of reach for the target audience. And the film rights are owned by Warner (who LEGO have a decent relationship with) so that helps as well.
