I think the rays from last years divers sets are better looking for normal use than the Ninjago ones.

The soccer set is not a hint to anything City, its just the winner of the next Ideas contest AFAIK;.

Anyone from Australia got any tips on the best way to order (including parts that are out of stock online but can be ordered if you call) in a way that minimizes the shipping costs?

I wish they would do more Ideas sets at the cheaper end of the spectrum like the Tron set or the Research Institute or the Women of NASA or the Mars Rover instead of so many big expensive sets like the piano and the typewriter and Barracuda Bay.

I loved the Harvester Transport set and the harvester in that set was great.

It wouldn't surprise me if they do an Architecture Colosseum in the future to go with the big one just like they did an Architecture Taj Mahal this year to go with the big one from before.

LEGO is unlikely to make another Colosseum (at any size) while the big one is on the shelf. And the rules for Ideas say that projects from IP that LEGO already is producing sets out of wont get made.

My top 5 animal wishes at this point: (in terms of City compatible animals that have never been done before) Hippo Kangaroo Giraffe Gorilla Emu Honorable mention to having the frog recolored in olive green.

Anyone know where the Doc Ock torso they are using now (in the one with the spider-truck, the one with the Doc Ock Mech and the Bugle) comes from, i.e. is it based on something from the comics or a movie or a cartoon or a video game or what?

The Colosseum is out for obvious reasons. Same with the police station. The Blacksmith Shop and the Creator Castle probably mean the castle wont get made. (i.e. they are already doing things that count as "castle") The GMC probably wont get made since its from General Motors (a company LEGO has a relationship with already) The Auto Union probably wont get made either since Volkswagen/Audi would own the rights (and LEGO has a relationship with Audi) From the list I would be most interested in Spirited Away, Wallace & Grommit and maybe Avatar (the blue guys, not the other one)

A bendy bus is squarely in "shut up and take my money" territory for me.

I think the City Wildlife sets are the best City "explore" type sets yet. So many wonderful pieces (including all those awesome new animals) I am so glad I bought all 4 :)

I wonder if the LEGO customer service reps who were talking about the elephant coming in one bag were getting it confused with the earlier mammoth which did come in a single bag.

Just finished building 60301 (great set even for a 4+ set IMO). The set includes (and lists in the inventory in the back) 2 chains but I can only find one in the instructions (attached to the grey drum) Did I miss something or is the extra chain just a spare?

As nice as that project is, LEGO are releasing a Caterpillar bulldozer Technic set later this year which means that the above project will violate the rule about projects based on IP LEGO is already producing.

The tan lion cub and the tan monkey are showing up as "in stock" for me right now. The new brown eagle, the crocodile egg, the sheep and the new big snake are showing as "out of stock". Didn't check any of the other animals since I will be buying all 4 sets in the theme on Thursday when the toy sale I am waiting for starts :)

Maybe 2022 will give us more DC figs... Or maybe hell will freeze over and LEGO will obtain the license to do a Star Wars CMF series...

Has anyone ordered (or tried to order) the axe shaped guitar from the big boombox set? The instructions list it as 6338638 which doesn't show up on B&P online but I was wondering if anyone had tried to order it over the phone and if so what the results were.

The reviews of the set (and the instructions/packaging/etc) clearly show that you get all the letters so that particular element can't be "one random out of x" like the earlier dots emojis and things otherwise the set would not give you the entire alphabet. It has to be the whole set of letters.

That review of the police and fire set makes me want it even more. Not only do I collect police stations (so I need it for my collection) but we don't get many police stations/buildings that are near water (the last ones we got were the Prison Island and the Swamp Police Station and before that, the Metro PD Station and the Pier Police)

I count a total of 6 new animal molds in the City sets (monkey, male lion head, lion cub, elephant body, elephant head, baby elephant) and about 20 different instances where an animal mold (new or otherwise) comes in a new color/print. That many animals across just 4 sets has to be the most we have ever seen in City in a single wave. The underwater sets last year gave us 3 new molds (ray, hammerhead shark head and anglerfish) and maybe 1/2 dozen new colors/prints (new molds and otherwise) across the 4 sets And the Arctic line had 6 sets and gave us 5 mew molds (rat, saber-tooth head, mammoth body, mammoth head, mammoth trunk) and maybe a dozen new colors/prints (new molds and otherwise)

I wish some of the Vidiyo accessories were for sale on B&P (especially that "axe" guitar from the big Boom Box set)

I think the stunt sets look ugly although I will be picking up some of the good parts (including the aforementioned angler-fish and that magenta car roof piece) from Bricks & Pieces at some point :)

If the advent calendar gives an easier way to get all the Infinity Stones (and the gauntlet) that would be great since I only have the one infinity stone (from the Thor's Weapon Quest set)
