  1. I'd really like to see one of these in bricks. I could almost do it, I think, but the colors would be wrong. Could you make instructions, Yooha? I can give it a try at the very least.
  2. I think it's a great heavy mount. Would like to see some armor but it looks like it's naturally armored. Tankwolf! I do agree that it's fairly different from the CHIMA wolf. I mean, it's hard to make a white wolf and not remind people of the Legend Beast.
  3. There's a lot to love about this. I dig the write-up. I always make sure I read the accompanying text to your builds, ME. But because it hasn't been mentioned yet, I'll point out that my favorite part of the build is that shed. So little space but it doesn't feel cramped or tiny. There's an excellent economy of space with the furnishings in there. That's a skill I really want to improve myself as I tend to have to build bigger to accommodate all the details. I'm less good at finding ways to make those details smaller or more evocative. Anyways. Hat's off again!
  4. This is awesome. You're one of the masters of small, Nightstalker. Always awesome to see more Eastern influences in GoH too!
  5. Yeah, I liked the stain glass and I always like your figs. Great work on a small, engaging scene!
  6. Total Gardener. Probably as a writer as well, come to think of it. I don't understand where people find the time to LDD and build stuff. Yikes!
  7. Wow it's weird to me how much people dislike CHIMA. I'd like to see a better Castle theme emerge, maybe something new. Barring that, a relaunch of Vikings that keeps the high level of minifig detail but drops the silly hats. Barring that, a full-on Greek mythology theme would be excellent. For scifi, I think it's time TLG went Steampunk past what they flirted with in Monster Fighters.
  8. Thanks Emma. RE: whites looking white... you mean my photography and lighting yes? I have a thread posted about that and have received some help/ideas but I still have an inadequate lighting setup. This is the result.
  9. Thanks SK. I wanted to try SNOTed water/landscaping and I find it works okay but it's not my favorite technique. I prefer the studs-up approach with texturing from SNOT and other techniques, like my WotN Phase 3 build.
  10. Thanks SK. Yeah, it's the one from the WIP thread.
  11. Nice. I have that same Ninjago set. I got it for $50 and I think it was worth way more...?
  12. If you're curious, google Final Fantay Tactics "maps" and you'll probably see what I mean. :P
  13. Haha, I also chose orange for my faction (well, and blue) but my guys are salvagers. I hope this is okay with you as I'm halfway done building their ship!
  14. Cool house. Reminds me a lot of the isometric, squat houses in Final Fatasy Tactics.
  15. Very cool little build. I could see this attached to a larger MOC easily.
  16. That looks really good. I really need to use that program myself as I have it and my photos could be touched up relatively easily it seems. I just fear the lasso tool.
  17. Awesome to see some more AoM. I've been planning to keep developing Arnarvhall.
  18. Awesome to see Noctys coming out with the creepy crawlies.
  19. Very cool, Combee.
  20. Ah. Yeah, so you mean you meant to achieve a glossing effect. I can see why. The idea is camouflage eh?
  21. Thanks. Do you have any flickr streams or any tutorials that you've noticed would be helpful with improving on this type of build?
  22. Sorry, not sure what you mean by "searched?" Did you mean researched?
  23. I did. Not sure if it was the right way to go, in retrospect, but I'd hate to build a body and limbs and then have a mismatched, bad looking head. The head, in many ways, informed the rest of the build.
