I was purchasing a product overseas, and while it was a larger item ($100 plus), it definitely didn't warrant the $200 shipping fee he placed on it from Amsterdam to Seattle. When I respectfully cancelled the order, saying I didn't realize shipping would be that steep, I received several angry emails from the seller...

I wonder what the odds are of us getting a character repeat - say, like a different Rey, for example. I could definitely see them doing it in the wake of the new film and if she (or any other repeat character) wears a different outfit in the film, it may make for a radically different build...

Had all 5 in front of me, figured I'd take a quick shot: All attach the same way except for Axl's, who has a far less superior form of attachment for what I assume were budget cuts. Aaron's has an extension to allow him to fly.

Quite the oddity - it's generic enough to be used in other themes and the fact that it's so generic seems like it wasn't just made for this. Perhaps it's a replacement for promos like these?

Huh? What trailer? Yeah, I love Zane's use of shurikens and Jay's use of nunchucks these past few stories, so Cole's scythe is a sight for sore eyes. Also: If anyone has an account at the Finnish video site Ruutu, you can see the first 5 episodes. (http://www.ruutu.fi/video/2862894) I expect they'll be leaked shortly, though. edit: on the first rewatch, this is really reminiscent of Winds of Change... the ninja go to the museum, a new foe appears to attack Wu, the ninja get easily defeated, and so on... which I guess isn't necessarily a bad thing...

Saw the full episode - really pumped for the English version! Some Notes: - People are seen lining up at Borg Stores and Borg Blimps are seen flying around advertising. This clear parallel to Apple (at least the retailer store part) gave me a chuckle - The battle between the ninja and Acronix is really amazing - I love how Lloyd's new elemental blasts look! - It seems like Wu has gotten aged up when he was hit by the Forward Time Blade - this will be really interesting going forward - While I'm talking about Wu, he pulls off some really good fighting moves himself! I love how the animation was in general! -Saunders seems to drop the goofy voice in evil mode, which is great! - Also, the set spoiler debacle should be put to rest, as the big reveal is made at the end of the episode anyway... Translating the other 5 episode names, which are also available at http://www.ruutu.fi/video/2862891 1 - Guardians of Time 2 - The Hatching (I assume this alludes to the Vermillion) 3 - Time Traitor (Perhaps this is when the ninja discover Saunders' secret?) 4 - (Metal Something) (This one doesn't really translate into anything, so I assume it's a made-up word combining "Metal" and something else. 5 - A Line in the Sand (Tommy A already told us about this one; it's a Jay-centric story)

My thoughts exactly - I wonder how people will feel if it's another rehash of an older set. Personally, I don't mind, as it's one of the few UCS sets I don't own, but I understand how angry people who paid exorbitant prices will be if it's the same.

I agree with Saw - being part mechanical, he would make for a great CCBS build where the style would actually fit his body. I'm afraid his somewhat limited role in the film may damper his chances of getting a figure, although it's not like Shoretroopers got a big focus either.

Love pretty much everything from the art book - several images are now wallpapers on various devices. As for the creatures - man, all the stone creatures are better than Ketar. And the villains, especially the one with the big dream catcher, were amazing. I wish we got more things like these and not what we actually got.

As someone who had and loved the original set as a kid, I really appreciate this MOC! Love the portal build and theme mashup.

Agreed - I just recently built it as well and was very pleased with the abundance of play features and the fact that it's not a facade - I'm sure 10-year old me would have played with it for hours, but now I'll probably just display it - still, it's a really great set.

I think it has something to do with the books not including new parts like the new armor element, so they're giving him just trans orange Ultimate armor instead - the same element used in the smallest set of the new wave. I am curious, however, why the Ultimate style of armor only comes in solid colors and the standard 2016 armor only comes dual-molded. The parts are so similar (just an extra lower pair of studs on the Ultimate version) that I'm curious the reasoning behind limiting one to solid colors and the other to dual colors. Perhaps one of our resident parts experts can help elaborate on this...
