  1. Well, the person indicates that he saw multiple sets, not just one. So the JUNIOR one could have been AMONG them, but not the only one he comments on.
  2. Looking back at a site where the pics were uploaded last time, it looks like very late October is when most of our leaked prelims came. Ninjago images and I think one DC image or two leaked before the prelims, though, thanks to some online retailers listing the sets early.
  3. Yeah, that's kind of what I was hoping/expecting. Unless there is a third group that has the elemental powers, but I guess the set names don't really suggest that.
  4. Snakes again... I hope the designs are different from the serpentine to some extent, and that the Anacondrai have something up their sleeves besides just invisibility.
  5. Dang, I guess. At least it might be easier on the wallet if everything's tiny, though. At very, very least... Has this guy said anything about any other themes? While I'm very grateful for Hulk's coverage, we've been left in the dark about a lot of the non-licensed stuff.
  6. (Aw, no new Batman characters...) Just kidding. I'm really a much bigger fan of Batman than any of the other DC Heroes (except Superman, barely), but this'll still be cool... for now. :P
  7. Fixed it with an uninstall/reinstall, which didn't work at first, but worked a second time once I also cleared the appdata folder.
  8. No, I get four. I was writing my first post as it was updating so that I could be more specific, but was forced to close Eurobricks and wrap up my post before I could watch the rest. I meant to edit it now. :P
  9. Hey everyone, So, I have a little issue with LDD's latest update(s). Every time I open LDD, it keeps installing the same, slow update (37.68MB, followed by a 36.40MB one, then a 36.18MB one and a 39MB one) and, yet, I don't receive any new elements. In fact, I haven't received many of the new elements that others have apparently received (HF minifigure pieces, Bad Cop's blaster, etc.). Has anyone else had this problem, or have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks
  10. ...and the picture still doesn't show if Batman has a new face. Gah.
  11. Gah, so we're only getting a set reveal again, not the minifigures. Hope a good Batman villain gets revealed, at least.
  12. I just hope we're mostly done with the micro-managers. The concept is neat, and the one from Creative Ambush had some nice parts, but they're getting repetitive.
  13. I think that these words may be well-applied to the Super Heroes forum.
  14. I guess it depends on the film, but I doubt there'd be a good situation to fit Collector in. And if they put him a set where he's not crucial to the action, all it's doing is raising the price point with a figure that is not recognizable to most kids, and not very "cool" either. (He's pretty easy to make a decent purist custom of, on that note.) I sort of get the completionist thing, but on the other hand, that's just going to be the case with any "exclusive" anyway. That's what makes them exclusives. So I see why completionists would be upset about these exclusive minifigures in general, but how people are lamenting particularly over the fact that it's the Collector just seems kind of... odd.
  15. And in what set, may I ask, would The Collector star in? I mean, he's really not a character I can see in a set at all. Nobody was raging about why the freakin' Collector wasn't in a set when the first wave was released, but now that it's revealed to be an exclusive, everyone's mad? Why? If either way you weren't going to get the minifigure, why does it matter that at least a few lucky people going to Comic Con get it? Rocket Raccoon I can sort of understand, in order to make the full team, but I imagine LEGO was in a tough position with that one. The number of sets they made were limited, and it's not like there'd be a second GoTG wave for the movie... Maybe, as some were saying, they could have switched the exclusive/non-exclusive suits, but if they were unable to, then, again, at least some people get the minifig.
  16. ^ That, and Arthur Parsons mentioned the promo minifig already, so it's practically certain there'll be one based on that. :P
  17. Would they do a set for Avengers: Assemble in the same year as AoU sets? Seems like that would distract interest away from the major money-maker.
  18. So, I'm not sure if this has been covered yet, but are there any hints as to what we may see for future minifigures coming from the open beta of the MMO? I've managed to see the Swashbuckler, Video Gamer, and Dino Tracker, but I think that's about as far as I'm going to play this game.
  19. It probably is just supposed to be huge. :P
  20. No, I tried imagining it separate from the photo as well, and it still doesn't seem right. In spite of that, you're right; the image doesn't do the shade complete justice.
  21. Definitely the lighter orange. The darker looks pretty ugly. And I have nothing to offer to the Haven/Brickhaven discussion.
  22. Set Name: Smugglers' Ship Category: 6 Faction: Smugglers Description: The smuggler's small ship. Main Elements / Play Features: A cannon, hidden storage, oil/mines to drop from a hidden compartment at the back of the ship. There should also be a rock outcropping in which they should hide/recover something of theirs, such as a jewel, so that the set has a story for kids to play using. Minifigures: 3 smugglers Accessories: Map, telescope, muskets/swords Set Name: Smugglers' Hideout Attack! Category: 7 Faction: Smugglers/Haven Guard Description: The smugglers are taking cover in a small, wooden fortress lying on the rocks, while the merchants are using a bomb vessel to try and take out their fortress. Main Elements / Play Features: The smugglers have one cannon, which is initially hidden, and maybe something like "Greek fire" can jut out of one of the rock outcroppings as well. Inside the storage is a small prison, a small storage area for general supplies, and maybe a small crane to unload what they smuggle. The Haven Guard has a small vessel with a mortar at the front, which is slightly larger than a cannon and as such shoots slightly larger ammo. Corresponding with the mortar, the fortress would have some sort of "fall-apart" feature. Minifigures: 1 captured merchant (optional), 2 smugglers, 2 guards Accessories: Muskets, swords, torches
  23. On the topic of SDCC, does anyone else hope that the full wave's minifigures will be revealed like two years ago instead of one complete set per subtheme like last year? Any speculations on what the odds of this would be?
  24. There's a small golden ship's wheel near the bottom of his torso, so he's definitely Pirates-themed. He's just not like most of LEGO's other pirates so far.
