Still making my way through Clash of Kings. Gosh I'm a slow reader. At this rate season 4 of the show will be out before I've even caught up!

Wonderful review oo7! The minifigs are great and there's some interesting parts in this set, some that I've never seen before! I always enjoy seeing the flagship castles Lego release with their medieval themes, and this one doesn't disappoint. Nice and colourful with a good sturdy look.

I'm not sure what public opinion is on Homestuck, but it's music is catchy as hell. These days if I want to listen to stuff I just chuck the discography on shuffle and leave it at that.

Excellent landscaping and rock formations. The windmill looks nice and quaint. The whole scene looks rather calm and peaceful actually, with a little hub of activity in the encampment to contrast that. I like it!

This is great! I love seeing large scale MOCs like this, packed with detail and bustling with activity. A wonderful creation!

Wow, this is great! I love how you've done the walls and the door detail, and the thatched roof. And the little wall. And the tiled road with missing bits and mossy bits. It all very well done! Good job.

I've been on an Ellen Page buzz lately so the last movies I saw were The Tracey Fragments - just my opinion but it seemed a tad pretentious, but it was a good movie. An interesting watch. Whip It - Hell, I enjoyed it. A but cliché sure, but done well, and it introduced me to a sport I never knew existed. Hard Candy - Goood film. Twisted, yeah, but I liked it. Oh and I totally forgot, I saw Europa Report the other day. It had an ensemble cast rather than focusing on Sharlto Copley's character like the trailers would have you believe, but that didn't stop it from being an enjoyable film. Worth seeing.

Not sure how to add myself, but feel free to add a Hamilton, New Zealand to the map!

Not angry or frustrated that I didn't get it, just saddened that I was too young when it was on the shelves and I missed out. The Rock Raiders HQ. Rock Raiders was (and perhaps still is) my favourite theme, and having missed out on the flagship set is quite disappointing.

Came back to Eurobricks.

I like how you've made the shin guards on the boots, and the studs on the torso make for a great chain mail look. I see you've accommodated for bordering tiles too by having 2 studs free either side. Nicely done!

This is adorable. Wonderful micro-scale scene you've got here Cap'n Nemo!

Thanks def for hosting this quite interesting experience and bringing new twists to the good ol' EB Mafia. We didn't? That's exactly what I was going for. Interesting. We assumed any vanilla townie was recruitable. We struck lucky I guess. Funny, I had Shadows pegged as town for most of the game. I figured he and Draggy were on different teams, but it was Draggy who I thought was scum. Good thing I didn't spill everything to him. JimB, you were excellent in this game. You really took charge and lead us to a glorious victory. Alopex, it was a pleasure playing alongside you, as well as the new recruits Tammo and Adam. Good job team! And Badboy, Shadows and Nightshroud, congratulations to y'all too. And Hinck, those songs were outstanding.

Whew. Well. I think Darth Potato had the shortest stint as scum I've ever seen. Also, def is a hippo. That's pretty suspicious. Maybe he's scum, right Scouty? Oh, er. Right Pelly? Hm. Okay town, this is it. We just have to convince one single scum to vote with us. We've got this! C'mon, scummos, don't you want a nice town victory?

Eurobricks Mafia Day Four: The light! The light!
iamded replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, there's a couple of things. Badboy did vote Adam for mayor on day 1 for no other reason than he looked nice in his suit. He offered again day 2, which is kinda strange, right? He also claimed not to have a puzzle piece, whether he was lying or not we can't be sure. That's irrelevant now though I guess. He sided with Scouty over Hinck day 2, though he could have just used Scouty as a reason to vote off a townie. He also said this in regards to the watcher: That coming from a scum sets off some alarm bells, does it not? TrumpetKing straight up voted for Badboy on day 3, the second to vote and the first for Badboy, so I think it's a safe bet he's town. I voted to elect Badboy on day 2 because he volunteered, and I thought it would be better to impart that responsibility on someone who offered than to force it on someone who does not. -

Anyone caught targeting someone who shows up dead is worth a vote. Coupled with what Scouty's said, I think we can be confident in this one. Vote: Alopex -

Progress! I knew something was up with Zeph, but I didn't figure he was the serial killer. Still, it's great to have one less night kill! And on that note, I always figured RIP guy was the vigilante, and chainsaw guy and day killer were the scum and SK. Since the SK was dead, he can't have been the chainsaw killer, so that must have been the scum, meaning the scum killed one of their own today. Although, this game is not like other games. Perhaps the scum are the crimson caped killer, while the vigilante is the chainsaw psycho? Hmmm. And now my main scumread is dead, best to look into other leads. Time to look at badboy's posts with fresh eyes, I think. This lead on Alopex is certainly interesting too, let's see where that goes. -
Euroricks Mafia day three: An end to Ricks
iamded replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hmm. I feel like time is running low. I was going to vote for Zepher, his day 2 scum lures still bother me, and if this whole thing wraps up and it turns out he was scum, I'll be kicking myself for not following through with that. The points raised against Big Cam, however, are certainly convincing as well. I find his "we're all town" suggestion to be pretty bizarre, I'm wondering if a scum would make such a gambit. Scum do love to cause confusion... And saying that 'random' accusations due to suspicion are "just stupid" isn't that smart in itself. These accusations can provoke response and raise discussion, things we need in order to root out the scum. Oh, hmm, it seems my vote will tip the scales in favour of one over the other. I'll vote: Big Cam for now, but I don't want the rest of the people to bandwagon on. We'll see how this goes. -
Euroricks Mafia day three: An end to Ricks
iamded replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, shoot, this is getting into dangerous territory. It's day 3 and there's 9 of us dead. With 18 of us left, assuming the scum started with 3 a side, we're sitting at a 1:2 ratio, and that's hoping the scum haven't been able to convert. I'm still suspicious of Zepher, I believe he was trying to signal the scum with his warnings and actions yesterday. After all Pandora's shared, I don't believe her to be scum. And unless Scouty's playing everyone with his "sounding like he's pretending to be a scum to lure out the scum but is actually trying to find town allies" gambit, hm, I think he's town too. Say Badboy, still wanna be Mayor? -
Eurobricks Mafia Day Two: Moonlight Medicine
iamded replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
My vote was gonna be for Scouty and his crazy day kill implications, but with the day kill actually happening that changed things a lot huh. I don't believe Hinck to be scum either, so I'll vote: Pandora. -
Eurobricks Mafia Day Two: Moonlight Medicine
iamded replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, I hope we can get a protector or watcher on Hinck tonight. Claiming you've caught a scum, then stating you're saving its reveal 'till tomorrow is just painting a huge target on yourself. Maybe that's what you're wanting? To lure out the scum? Hmm. I agree with what Shadow's said here too. Tied votes aren't exactly common now, it seems to me that this Mayoral role is being regarded as much bigger than it is. Instead of rambling on about the different combinations of scum and town in a tied vote and what implications they might have, I think it's quicker to say that I don't understand the fuss around the Mayor thing. As for my vote against Dwanky yesterday, with a few hours left in the day and not enough confidence in the Flare vote, I went with my gut. Playing with Draggy the past few games with him as scum, his behaviour seemed all to familiar. Today has changed my opinion in that regard, he's been helpful enough. Other people I suspect... as Pandora highlighted, Zepher's reminders that the scum can't contact each other and how we can use that against them, as if we don't know – and so boldly stated, almost seem as if he's trying to reach out to them. It's the most suspicious thing to me. To pitch in with the kill modi operandi, my natural thought was that there are 3 separate killers. The chandelier kill distinctly lacked a kill figure, whereas the caped cut-throat was presented for all to see. They can't be the same. I wonder, would a serial killer end a kill with "Rest in peace"? Seems more vigilante-ey to me. Actually, Shadows voted Hinck for mayor. It's kind one of the big topics on this page. But if you're volunteering, then Mayor: badboytje88 By the by, you can vote for yourself there, badboy who is a girl for some reason. -
Eurobricks Mafia Day One: Let the metagaming begin!
iamded replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
What a coincidence, I was planning on doing the same thing and voting who I felt was most likely to be scum. Vote: Dragonator You're normally more sociable when you're a good guy. You're being awful quiet today, reminds me of the time in that Forest, and that last one with the animals that r people too. Or maybe I just miss your attention. -
Eurobricks Mafia Day One: Let the metagaming begin!
iamded replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So people are wagering up their votes, hmm? We know there's a vote penalty for not voting. If the winner gets the other 4 players' votes, and refrains from voting, would he get a 5 vote penalty the next day, or would each of the players get a penalty? Well, with that concluded I guess it answers all those questions. As for whom to vote mayor, I think it makes more sense to vote for someone we know, easier to determine a change in behaviour if they get converted. Mayor: CorneliusMurdock -
