  1. Okay, okay, my head is feeling much clearer now. Looks like I need some more shrooms! Hmmm. I noticed we didn't see the Firefox this morning, when reviewing the night's events. On the first night of this ordeal he was shown to have appeared after our compadres turned up dead, yet before the scum showed up dead. But then last night, a loyal townie died and the Firefox was nowhere to be seen... Perhaps I'm looking into something that's not there with this fox's appearance, but I just thought I'd put it out there. As for Ralphy Rabbit, I have been rather suspicious of him. His activity has seemed kind of... off. Some things he's said haven't really made sense and have been pointed out as confusing by several others. It's not just confusing to my shrooms and I. My shrooms. Mushrooms. My mushrooms, mu myshrooms... mymushrooms... hm... Neeigh! (See, at least I confine my confusion to my personality, and not to the serious discussion. ) Also of interest, initially the only people who didn't vote for Carly Cow were Carly herself, and Ralphy Rabbit. Instead they voted for Casey in what seems like a grudge carried on from the kerfuffle on day one. Casey rebutted with a rather convincing case, that caused several people to back this and switch from Carly to Ralphy - but obviously not enough to overturn that band-wagon. By the end of the day, Ralphy had switched from Casey onto the bandwagon, perhaps to avoid suspicion? I dunno, maybe I need to step back and look at things objectively here.
  2. Oh Baxter... You were taken too soon... who will sniff my butt in friendly greeting now? And Cara... You were taken... hey yeah, you weren't supposed to be taken! We don't even have any buildings that utilise janitors, so why is there one roaming the streets? Well, I think we've established that the killer who uses traps is either a vigilante or a serial killer, but most certainly not a scum killer. So if the axe killer is the scum killer, then the question is - What stopped them from killing last night? Was anyone blocked? This could be a break through here... Having said that, it's still possible - as mentioned - that the scum have utilised poison. Ne-he-heigh, a terrible thought. <munches wistfully on a shroom> Here's hoping that's not the case...
  3. Riddles now? Bring back the anagrams! Or better - simple arithmatic! Or even better - a shroom eating competition! Say, if we don't speak in our natural tongues, neeeigh, at night, do we still get penalty votes?
  4. Ne-he-heigh, prbrbrb! Those are some good points you make Casey. Ralphy has seemed kind of... off, at times. Though that could just be the public masturbation. Why, thank you Brigit! I'd love to boing boing boing with you. I've got all night. Yeah, you've still got it Horace! Suck it Cameron!
  5. Neee-he-he-heeigh, prbrbrbr! I forgot to add! A true townie wouldn't just give up, they'd kick and fight 'till the end to help out the town - it's the proper thing to do. I was thinking, perhaps Carly and her scum team decided it would be best to take advantage of this sinking ship by placing a few of their own clever votes against her, gaining ground with us townies. It would make sense - if they thought it would be easier than trying to overhaul this vote landslide, to simply go with it and solidify a few of their own. A risky gambit, but you never know... Ne-he-heigh! Sorry my event recapping list kind of lost steam at the end there, it was hard to think with that damn catchy Jae-Sang Jerboa's song, Fabunam Style stuck in my head... Though it's a great song to listen to while chewin' on shrooms!
  6. It's been said by others already, but even I - with a stomach full of mushrooms - found this statement off. I'm not sure if you're implying that Portia has the power to kill with her votes, or if you're implying she and her friends (Her scum team?) killed off the people she wanted dead? I don't see that making sense, as surely the scum wouldn't be dumb enough to compromise one of their team mates like that. Then again, they are dumb enough to walk into spiky death traps... Either way, trying to implicate someone as suspicious when they're not is just odd behaviour. This is a good point. However, I don't think the scum would be the one to lead the bandwagon, neigh, they wouldn't throw one of their own on to the chopping block. But as soon as the vote tipped in favour of one of their own, I'm sure they'd get a few votes in - as well as keep a few off, non-votes and votes for others, to cover all bases. But moving on to the subject at hand - Carly Cow. I kind of don't want to lynch her - I love my milk and shroomies - but I suppose I can make the switch to goat milk, or hippo milk... Let's just look at the points, shall we, because I have a hard time following things and I don't want to just 'jump on a band wagon' without fully understanding why I'm doing so. That's a stupid thing to do. So. Yesterday, Portia Poodle was pulling her 'vote for the quiet ones to get them to speak up' trick. Carly Cow thought this 'voting for the quiet ones' trick was stupid, as all it would get are the quiet ones saying "Oh hey, I'm here. Don't vote for me." and that Portia's vote was more useful on a bandwagon, suggesting she vote for Casey Cat. Portia explained that she didn't need to vote on a bandwagon to express her opinion - she could just say it - and adding another vote to the pile would be less useful than using her vote to get the quiet ones to contribute to the discussion at hand. Carly gets a bit grumpy and again says Portia should change her vote from the quiet ones - at this point on Wallace Walrus - and on to the main bandwagon. Ooooh... Fast-forward to today, when Portia brings this up. Now we know Wallace scumbag Walrus was a Cultist, it puts a new twist on it. Right away it gets people's attention (Gordon's, Brigit's). Cameron Cockodile mentions how Carly was so quick in dismissing the lynch for Petey, as if she knew Petey was town - as suggested earlier, only a scum would know definitively who was town, and could use to their advantage to appear town themselves. This is uh... this is pretty convincing stuff. I can see why someone hasn't done this big summary thing yet, there's another like 3 pages. Okay, uhm... Mindy Mouse, Cameron Dickodile, Ernie Elephant and Becka Bulldog also cast a fair bit of doubt upon Carly Cow. Then everyone plays dead, I have a magical little paddle around with my mushroom friend, aaand then everyone votes for Carly Cow for the aforementioned reasons. Carly puts up a super convincing defence, and gets her udder in a twist, voting for Casey Cat without providing reason. I may have missed it, and anyone please correct this if I'm wrong, but Carly hasn't provided any further attempt at defending herself. So, yeeaahh... Vote: Carly Cow (Tamamono) I'm pretty darn confident in this vote. Neigh! Nay, that wasn't me saying nay, I was just neighing. Neigh! And a whinny too! <noms on more shrooms>
  7. I don't think you can fit a walrus trap in one of those vials. But yes, you're right, it's entirely possible one of the vials contained a one-shot kill action... And if it does, we'll need to some how keep it away from the Cultists - we don't want them having more power... Although, they didn't kill last night. Maybe they need the vials to kill? Nay, neigh, surely that's too unbalanced. I don't think God is that nice to us...
  8. Nay, neigh is what horses say! Neigh! Well look at this, we caught a scum! Great going, little fish guy! Maybe we shouldn't be eating them if they're so adept at catching crooks... <chomps on a mushroom> Unfortunately, it seems everything comes at a cost. Poor Petey Panda was one of us after all, which means perhaps we should take a look back at certain people... And poor Bristol! No one deserves a splitting headache like that. But who killed who... The bear trap thing I find most confusing. Not just because it looks bizarre, but because I'm not sure how it would work. If it were a 'paranoid bear trap owner', then wouldn't it be next to said paranoid person's bed, or outside their door or something? Having it placed randomly on the ground for someone to wander in to doesn't scream 'paranoid trap owner' to me. Besides, there was no indication Wallace was going after anyone (except that fish), so it seems more like he was targeted rather than he stumbled into a trap. Even though he literally stumbled into a trap. What I'm saying is it seems this was done offensively rather than defensively, because there must be an attack in order to defend, and Wallace wasn't attacking. Does that make sense? Now the axe kill. I'm kind of hoping it wasn't a vigilante who did it, because if it was a vigilante then it wasn't the scummy Cultists. Which leads me to think they went and converted someone instead of killing... This is stressing me out, man... <scoffs down hoof-fulls of shrooms> Oh. Hello there, Baxter. Care for a mushroom? Ceiling! Wall! Window! Uh, uh... door! What game is this? That's a good point. Although I'm hoping Bristol was laying low because she was a vanilla bunny and was just taking it easy, not because she had a night action and was avoiding the scum's sights...
  9. Oooh, I'll take the mushroom! Oh, they're not free? -Bruuurp!- Oops... <hides pitcher> Yes I do 'give away' my delectable treats for free. It's called sharing. Mushrooms are just the tasty treat for trying times like these.
  10. A talking statue, and I'm not the only one seeing it? My oh my. And what's this about free drinks? Well, I don't mind if I do. I've plenty of shrooms to share also, if anyone's hungry. They're good for you! Or so the statue said. I may have hallucinated that part...
  11. Excuse me for being in a deep, mushroom-induced sleep. It takes a long time for me to catch up. Had I been around earlier, my vote would likely have gone to the same place. Besides, someone's gotta be the last one to vote, and I'd rather place mine than do nothing with it.
  12. I believe it was Becka Bulldog who initially brought up the point that we could learn the most from Petey's death (perhaps why Petey voted for Becka?) rather than the other suspect animals, which seemed logical at the time, enough for several others to agree with and re-state. And it was for those reasons that I planned to cast my vote against Petey. However, Petey's seeming final thoughts on who he deems suspicious and why cast doubt in my mind. If Petey turns up town tomorrow, then this is definitely something to look at. And hey, if he turns up scum then it's something to look at still. For the sake of learning (and my fear that something awful will happen if I don't vote - like a crow visit or something...), I shall Vote: Petey Panda (darkdragon) Yeesh, it feels wrong casting a vote against a neighbour. I think I should comfort myself with some tasty shrooms...
  13. Blimey, there's a lot of chatter going on, and yet I hardly see much reason for accusation. It seems a joke was made, someone was paranoid and over reacted, people starting pointing out how strange this was, and others started defending the strangeness. It's all very... strange. The first day is the most difficult to come to a decision when there are so many choices but so few valid options. And now I've spent so much time catching up that I don't have the time to get my thoughts in order and provide a more ordered response. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to eat this bag of shrooms, and hopefully I'll come to in a few hours with more to say.
  14. Aw shoot, two of our beloved acquaintances have been taken from us. Poor Gabby, that crazy kid. And Benji... who will go around sniffing butts now... Oh, well then. Hi Baxter. Why don't you use that nose to sniff out some mushrooms or something? Um, that they're delicious and, like, totally good for you. Lazlo's a shroom eater!? Why doesn't he share? I share. Anyone want some mushrooms? They're tasty! Mmm. Now, we have to do this whole messy lynch business again... I think I'll take some time to recall what we did last time this came around, and see if that can help...
  15. Psychedelics? No, no, they're just mushrooms that induce hallucinations and expand one's consciousness, dude.
  16. <ahem> Horace Horse here! Town Blacksmith. Does anyone have any mushrooms? I could really go for some mushrooms right now...
  17. 7. Bespin Streets, by NinjaNin 8. Bossk's New Job, by Praiter Yed 23. Mos Eisley Gas 'N' Service Station, by Brickmamba 28. R2 Saving the Day, by wokajablocka 39. Towing-Astro, by Legopard NinjaNin - Great recreation of the game, wonderful build. Praiter Yet - Love the build, with the tiled frame around it keeping it lookin' sharp. Great in-thread presentation too. Brickmamba - I really like this build too. Nice incorporation of Jabba's sails. wokajablocka - I like that you've gone for something different, a change from mini-fig scale. The model is great, and the inclusion of light features is a nice touch. Legopard - I dig the presentation of this one too, with the black sloped border. This one mainly got my vote because of that Bantha.
  18. Well, I got the PM, was excited at the prospect of a new Forest Mafia, came to the Wargames and Mafia forum to check if sign-ups were still open, saw they were, got excited and signed up, and then forgot to reply to the PM. You know me...
  19. Favourite Fabuland set? Well, 3633 is a classic, with everyone's favourite walrus, and there's no denying that steam boat has style. I'm gonna have to give it to 3681 though - the amusement park. A friend of mine has that set (or what's left of it... ) and it comes with a fox and a cat - two of my favourite animals, see. So yes, Amusement Park it is. Favourite Mafia moment? Well, there was something with an asylum and a martyr... That was a spectacular ending hahah. Acronym? Well, FUBAR is always a good one to describe my competency with mafia strategy...
  20. Oh yes. That rock band set will be mine. I love these little sets Lego's releasing, I hope we see a lot more of this.
  21. Outstanding, both the set and the review. The walls, the tower, that wonderful Castle build I love so much. And the minifigs are, of course, excellent. Fantastic review, ISC!
  22. Thank y' kindly everyone! Yes, it was a good day indeed spending time with friends, and now back home with family. And of course, some collectible mini-figs made things sweeter. Thanks again everyone.
  23. What to say? I like the dude who does these covers, and I like the original song that he's covering.
  24. I've started hearing Steve Blum everywhere. His voice is so iconic, you hear a character speak and you know straight away, "Yep, that's Steve Blum". I first started picking it up after hearing him in several video games (Call of Duty, Bulletstorm, Dead Island), and then the first two anime series I start watching - Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop - he voices a main character. He's got quite the filmography, he does...
  25. Happy (belated ) birthday Iz! Hope it was wonderful.
