  1. Oh, Wild Dragon, you can talk! I know everyone says we should have turned in the reigns, but I know how much you just love the race and I just couldn't hold you back. I hope all this tragedy gets sorted out soon so we can get back in the game! Oh, Carl! Hi! Fancy bumping into you here! It's me, Amy. We meet that time when I fixed that fence? Five years ago? Heh. Um. Hi.
  2. I've been through a Mafia or two, seen both sides of the table and lived to tell the tale, once or twice. I'm gonna be honest, I'll be away for a few days come Christmas, but I'll try my darnedest to keep in the game. Really. I suppose I should go with apple, but my heart's saying cake.
  3. Ah yes, the Fiery Fortress of Foxxxy. Heh, actually, it was as Scouty and Danny said, it was really just Shadows asking if any of us were tree stumps, and if we should convert Draggy. Actually, looking back on that, I see this post I made: See, we had considered converting someone else and having Shadows continuing to manipulate Draggy. But with Shadows' reply: You can see the only reason we converted Draggy is because we couldn't trust him enough to work with him as a neutral. We converted him with the expectation that he'd be converted to the scum team, winning with them so long as the tree stump was dead, especially after being told he was corruptable. Basically, we converted Draggy to assure that exactly what happened wouldn't happen. Such is life in Mafia.
  4. Well, thanks for the feedback Shadows and Hinck! I'm glad y'all think I did alright, I did try and am happy with how I played. I looked back over my Forest I gag night actions and how they amused you back in Forest I, Hinck, and I'm glad I could do so again with my defences in this game. It's awesome to see you working so hard on the game even after it's finished, providing all this feedback and commentary, so thanks again Hinck. You definitely deserve a break.
  5. Hmm. Well. I can't say I wasn't looking forward to coming back with my scum pals and ruling over the souls of the innocent. I honestly did not see that ending coming at all. I would have thought, logically, that if we couldn't actually really convert Draggy, then we wouldn't have got back 'Corruptible' as a result. It seems like really, Draggy - being the only neutral - should have been the only character who was incorruptible. Just, I'm confused here, who was actually incorruptible? I'm still not quite understanding how Draggy can be both Serial Killer and scum. You can't have two clashing win conditions, and since Draggy's win condition was to kill everyone then he wasn't actually scum at all, and so he shouldn't have got a scum night action, or been added to the scum PM to see who all the other scum are. Having someone in the scum PM who can see all the scum team, while not actually being a scum themselves... I don't know. I love you Hinck, I love your games, I love your story-telling, your dedication to hosting. All your interludes, and night scenes and player roles, and that Bohemian Rhapsody. It was all fantastic and I loved it, and I loved playing even if I was pretty hectic in real life as the game was starting. I'm proud of Scouty for fending off his lynch for all those days, and I'm quite proud that I managed to stave off being lynched for a day, and how Danny really got stuck in with the town in the last few days. And Shadows, you devious minx, having those players under your thumb like that. How do you do it? I just feel rather let down that Draggy turned on us like that - that Draggy had to turn on us - when we had him investigated and converted. I still think his result should have come back as Unreadable, at least then we'd have been taking a gamble, but with it ending like this... Now I know how the town feels. Ah well. There's nothing that can be done about it. That's the way the mushroom crumbles, and that's how it's going to be. I still think it's bullroar though. But I'll leave it at that. I still hope to play in The Forest III, but maybe I'll continue my Mafia break between now and then... And Sandy, I said it in the dead thread and I'll say it again, you sneaky, magnificent bastard. You really had me fooled. I admire you pulling that stunt just for kicks too, playing Mafia just for the fun of it reminds me of the first days of Mafia. Also, everyone's role-play was just brilliant. You guys were great. Flitwick, Scumba with your songs... It really made the game more enjoyable.
  6. Thanks for inviting me back Hinck, I had a blast.
  7. The answer's simple, vote for Gild-oooh. Er. Well this is awkward... Well hey, Cameron hasn't steered us wrong so far, so maybe I'll be best switching my vote to that sneaky Sheep... Wait, Cameron did steer us wrong, just yesterday. Not that voting for me would have been right, I'm still a loyal townie dangit. Whatever man, everyone's just overreacting anyway. Like, why do these cultists even want to control all of Fabuland? Why not just like, chill out with some shrooms, man. Just like... be chill man. Be chill...
  8. Neeeiiigh, whinny, nicker and snort! Sorry to say, but this stand is not the right one. Like the evidence presented by Cameron..? That logic is just... stupid. Not that I am the serial killer - I'm just the faithful townie steed - but if I were a neutral then lynching me would get you nothing. The scum have to outnumber all other parties to win - including neutral parties. The town only have to kill the scum. If I had the names of the scum. BAWK! Neigh. Most sure of? Because a confirmed townie was duped by the scum to set me up? Prbrbrb. Well if the scum have put enough effort into getting someone lynched, this is what they get... the townies mindlessly voting out an innocent... Lynching me won't atone for anything. And then you'll owe it to Brigit, Maurice and me to lynch the scum that set this whole thing up... This whole Cameron/Shawna situation is certainly interesting. One of them has to be scum, but if the flowers are any indication, there's still 3 other scum sitting right among us. And who's been sitting right among this whole entire time, keeping way under the radar, not arousing the suspicion of anyone by hardly saying anything, that wasn't picked up on until recently by no-one else but I, which was ignored, thus continuing his happy cruise under the radar? Why no other than Gilda Goat. The early vote for Casey was a clever gamble, and one that bought his 'confirmed towniness' for the rest of this whole ordeal, but I'm not buying it. It's the perfect gameplay for a vanilla scum, your average goon. And what do we need to do today? Lynch a damn scum to stop them over-running us. I'm very, very confident he's one of the other 3 scum, and so today I shall Vote: Gilda Goat (Quarryman). Harumph. This is rustling my peace of mind. At least I still have you, mushrooms... <om nomf nom>
  9. Oh yeah, real smart. My old chum Cameron Cockodile comes along with hard evidence against the sheep with the baaa-d jokes, and you'd rather lynch who you think is a neutral? Town has to lynch the scum to win, you do know that right? I'm curious, say I do get turned into glue, where will you go from there? I still stand firm to the belief that whoever informed Brigit was a scum. She was clearly set up to set me up. It makes sense if you think about it... Maybe you guys just need some shrooms to like, enhance your thought patterns, y'know? They're tasty!
  10. Hmm, Edgar makes a good point. There are 9 flowers there, after all... Neeigh! Deal with me? But we don't even use glue in this town!
  11. Neeeiiiigh! This is... this is unfortunate. Carley wasn't a scummy cultist after all, which means every decision we've come to based upon that theory is no longer valid. It also means the scum number more than we thought. It's time for some serious re-evaluation, and like Panchy the sea-gull said – everyone needs to speak up. The time for flying under the radar is at an end, folks. Let's hear some thoughts, opinions, let's get this thing kicking. I've noticed Gilda Goat has been keeping things curiously low-key this whole ordeal. She's chimed in just enough to have people notice her showing up, but the things she's said haven't been anything that's stood out. She's been cruising low this whole time. However, she did vote for Casey early on in the first day... Either a not very committed townie, or a scum who pulled quite a risky move. Hmmm...
  12. That video was amazing. Thank you for doing that for us Hinck.
  13. Prrbrbrb. Alright, I've finally had time to sit down and analyse this whole thing. All the points Cameron's made have been valid, and since I know I'm a townie, and am apparently being set up, I really have no reason to trust Maurice's act. I'd love to know who started this thing by telling Brigit I seemed scummy, as they themselves have to be scum. I believe Brigit was duped by someone. She started to show some doubt yesterday after I explained away all my accusations, and it could have gone either way I think, but then of course she shows up dead today. So of course here I am sitting smack in the middle of this frame, and Maurice keeps rallying after me trying to get me lynched. Add to this the previous defending of Casey, disguised as simple 'loving affection'. As if. So with that, I'll Vote: Maurice Mouse (Cecilie), and go look for some more delicious shrooms. I'm starting to run low...
  14. Neeiigh! Okay, sure, I was praising my accuser. But not for the reasons you stated, rather for what I thought were valid grounds for praise. I'm not saying, nor did I say that all of Maurice's behaviour was pro-town, but rather that one specific part. And you never asked for any shroooms, maaan. You know they're a free for all, if anyone wants some shrooms you just gotta ask, dude. Yes. Correct. But note again, that Petey continued to be overly defensive through the day, and so it became more suspicious as the day progressed, and so while that reasoning didn't hold ground for me early on, it seemed reasonable as it persisted through the day. Then and now? Well, a lot's changed, but I don't see how that's relevant. I suppose you mean between then and the next day, and I guess my perspective and reasoning just changed. On day 1, we could take solace in assuring Petey we'd use his list. Come day 2, we realised the list wasn't much use to us at all, hmm, and so we just dropped it. So it's me or you, huh? Well there's one thing I know with 100% certainty in this game of life, and that's that I'm a shroom-lovin stallion of a townie. Now, I was previously of neutral mind towards you, but this just doesn't sit right with me. I heard some pretty solid points from my scaly old friend. Now, I'm under the impression there's still a fair bit of time in the day left, so I'm gonna hit the hay - yes, go for lunch - but when I come back I will definitely investigate the aforementioned points more thoroughly until I can come to a sound conclusion on the matter. Anyone care to join me for lunch? I've got some delectable mushrooms right here, full of... mm, flavour...
  15. AAAH, c-c-c-crooow! Alright, well... <ahem> I'm pleasantly surprised to see Casey was in fact scum, that means we've taken at least 2, likely 3 scum down already. Unfortunately, very much so for me, that bodacious bunny Brigit was taken from us last night. A shame to see Pennie go too, although she had her suspicious moments I wasn't convinced she was scum. Now, it seems most accusations against me come from bouncy little Brigit's claim that someone had (and she did say had, which I find interesting) a night action that implied that I'm scum. The 'implied' part raised suspicion to me, which made more sense later on. Allow me to elaborate: Did you paraphrase that quote as accurately as you can? Because again we see the hesitation, the lapse in confidence that prevents this mystery accuser from being 100% sure – they 'seemed certain', not they 'were certain', the 'implied', not 'proved'. What this looks like to me is that someone decided to go after me (for some reason I'm left in the dark about), claiming that this mystery action strongly hints at me being scum for whatever reason, without ever solidifying this, as if to give them a safety net when I would inevitably come up town. It doesn't seem right to me, and it apparently gave Brigit pause as well, since she switched her vote from me to Penny yesterday. The other thing I was going to mention was the aforementioned had that Brigit used. I can take from this that either the night action was limited in it's use, and so whoever used it no longer had that night action yesterday, or the person who had that night action was killed off before yesterday. The former possibility makes me wonder about this alleged night action's validity, whereas the latter leaves me hoping that whoever had that night action will speak up, if not in public, then in private to someone, so more light can be shed on this rather confusing matter. Now, if you'll excuse me, these mushrooms won't eat themselves... ...Oh, there's something else? Well, let's see here. You're looking at this the wrong way, and in fact paraphrasing me completely wrong. I commended Maurice for, and here's the direct quote, "re-evaluating the past day's events and looking for anything that could be deemed suspicious. That's good townie behaviour. " That is good townie behaviour, right? Looking for suspicious activity from previous days, with the new knowledge you've gained giving you new insight? That was rhetorical, of course that's good townie behaviour. And so I commended Maurice for doing that, not for accusing me specifically like you've made out. So putting aside your misinterpretation of what I said, you then rally against me for... not acting like a dick? Sheesh man, don't be so cynical. Not everyone in this village is a dick, just chill out, have a shroom. Yeah, at first, I totally thought the squabbling over Petey's overreaction to a joke was silly. Because it was. Next thing we know - oh hold on. No, it was quite a while after, not next thing. Quite a while after, a lot of people had presented convincing reasons why Petey's lynch was the logical thing to do. At this point I was convinced enough, and placed my vote - also, I wasn't sure if the non-voters would be punished in any way, so I thought it best to play that safe. As for my change of heart, well, what can I say? On Day 1 I was sure enough in my vote, whereas yesterday I was entirely not. I wasn't convinced either way, and thought not voting was my best option then. Please tell me people aren't taking this point seriously. This is just you padding out your list, isn't it? If I were scum, I wouldn't risk revealing any evil shenanigans just for the sake of a jab at God's rules. And hold on - where does it say the cultists are getting fire kills from those vials? If I recall, the fire kill came before the vial... I explained this already, when Maurice brought it up. I thought something was suspicious, and Casey pointed out more suspicious things, including the thing I pointed out. Of course I'd be inclined to agree with her. And we weren't the only ones who found Ralphy strange too. Fun fact - 14 other people thought something was off with him too, strongly enough to vote for him. I did mention that while I was not convinced Casey was scum, I did hope she was as that would give us things to work with, and lo and behold she was, and it has! Unfortunately I'll have to wait before looking back at Casey's contributions, as I should be sleeping right now. My talking has taken longer than expected. Well, ZZZZzzzz to you too! Now if you'll excuse me I'll finish these mushrooms and catch some ZZZzzz's myself.

  17. How curious... Now I suppose you're eager to see who I vote for, as I'm once again voting late. Or, as it may be, not voting at all. The fact of the matter is, I'm not confident that either candidate presented today is scum, and upon looking back on the days, have not found one that rings major alarm bells. After already being a part of the lynch of at least two innocent townies, I feel I must be sure of my vote before placing it - I don't want to be a part of any more townie lynches. I'm not convinced enough that either candidate is scum to warrant a vote for them. Regardless of who I vote for, it looks like Casey Cat is getting the lynch today. I do hope she turns up scum, as that would hopefully raise morale, as well as provide 4 days of conversation to look back on, something we didn't get with the death of Wallace. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off for a snack of Shrooms 'n' Oats. Say Booker, any chance I can get my horse whip back sometime?
  18. Oh, by the way, I was reviewing the past days, seeing if I could find something of interest. Found this rather amusing. Where's my saddle? I want to be ridden!
  19. Nei-he-he-heigh! Whew, I'm knackered, I've been galloping around all day, like horses who've been digging into the funky coloured mushrooms do. Now, time to address some things! Sugar-cube, how could you? I don't trust yer twitchy twitchy twitcha-twitch nose, it doesn't seem to have very good reasoning. Oh, there's your reasoning. But now it's coming from your gut? I think you should take a close look at this nose and gut, I think they're feeding you misinformation... That, or you misheard, I'm a colt promoter, sugar. I speak up when I can, and I try to vote when I'm most confident in it. You may see me standing about, or 'lurking', but that doesn't mean I'm all here, if you know what I mean. You know horses can sleep standing up? So while I may appear to be here, it's likely I'm off doing something else, like sleepin'. As for this 'whole charade' going on in private, I must admit I have no idea what your talkin' about. Care t' explain? Huh, I was under the impression the axe killer was the cultist killer. You seem very sure of yourself, and there are some things you say that don't add up, that the squawking pigeon was kind enough to summarise. I think more people need to respond to this. If we figure out what's killing what, or at least come to a general consensus, it could make things easier. We need as little confusion as possible to root out these scum, and I think coming to a consensus on his matter would help in that regard. Personally, I think the axe killer is scum, the trap killer is either a serial killer or a very unlucky and reckless vigilante (not that far fetched, if this is anything like those Mafia story books), and Ernie Elephant was a lover who couldn't live without his beloved. However, that still leaves two points I don't understand - 1) why the axe killer got a double kill last night, and 2) why a lover death warranted a visit from the Fox to take his soul. Now, I really need to evaluate the past 3 days and take a look-see at people's behaviours, now that we've got a bunch of townies cleared things should hopefully be more revealing.
  20. Did that really just happen? Five? Five. Five?! That's ridiculous. I was sure we'd get a scum with yesterday's vote, but even that turned out terribly. And then there's our trap killer again, but why target Becka? I also don't understand why and how the axe killer got two kills last night, and what the heck's up with this tree stump?! I guess I should take a look back at what Ralphy said about that yesterday... Add to that the fox showing up again, this time to a suicide... Lovers, maybe? That whole death is bizarre - the potion, the soul-taking... Rather frightening, if you ask me. Maybe I ate some bad shrooms and this is all just a nightmare... Maybe... maybe I should go back to hay and oats, and apples...
  21. Oh good. An anagram. You know I was actually thinking, I would just love a fourteen word anagram to solve tonight. That would be just swell. So, thank you for that, talking statue thing... <Horace proceeds to bury his face in a pile of mushrooms and pass out>
  22. Nei-he-heigh! Poor choice of words... <scoffs back some more shrooms>
  23. I commend you for what you did though, re-evaluating the past day's events and looking for anything that could be deemed suspicious. That's good townie behaviour. And now, if you'll excuse me, I shall eat: mushrooms (delicious). Oh, and Vote: Ralphy Rabbit (badboytje88). He's just seemed suspicious to me for a while now, with the things he's said and how he's acted, particularly his casual, "oh, let's just go with it" attitude to being voted for. It seems one could make more effort to overturn a vote for themselves if they truly are townie. His voting pattern kind of throws me off too, rallying against Casey Cat day 1 and 2, then switching out to jump on the band-wagon, it just seems off to me. The days not over yet though, so I'll review the other candidates as well.
  24. That's how you interpreted it, that doesn't mean it's how it was. For example, I interpreted you stating that was my first post, as if you were implying I only came in that far in to the day to cast suspicion on me, however now I see you didn't mean for it to be interpreted like that. I didn't specify a single person as I thought the whole 'joke blown out of proportion' thing wasn't a basis for voting for anyone, it was ridiculous. I didn't realise how serious the reactions were being taken at the time. You're not accusing me of voting late, and yet you specify that I came in late and was the last to vote. If I wanted to cruise safely under the radar I would have voted when everyone else was, in the middle of it all. Instead, I voted when I had confidently assessed the situation and was sure in my reasoning. No, I didn't really follow up on that, and that's because after looking back on it, I didn't think it was needed. I linked it because I had mentioned it the previous day and it was Petey's dying wish, but I didn't draw attention to it because I didn't think it was a major thing. Day 1 suspicions aren't much to draw on, and that's all Petey's list was. Well at the time, when we were guessing the allegiance of the axe killer, there had only been one night so it would have only been one night the scum didn't kill - not that far-fetched. Looking at things objectively now, after two nights, it does seem likely that the axe-killer is the scum killer and the trap-setter is a vigilante or serial killer. Or perhaps summaries are, I don't know, a good way to sum up points presented against someone to reference later, when looking back on why someone was lynched? And as much as we'd like to hope, not everyone pays attention all the time, and summaries can be a good way of cluing in the townies who have to read through pages of transcripts. Sheesh, I didn't realise summaries were such a big deal, besides, I'm not the only one around making them... prbrbrbr. But, you're doing the same thing now! I had found Ralphy's behaviour to be rather strange, and I pointed it out. Now you're doing the same to me. Let me clarify - I'm not saying he was outright accusing someone, but he was definitely trying to cast suspicion. Why else would he even mention it, calling it an unlikely coincidence if not to cast suspicion on to Portia? So yes, I though his trying to cast suspicion with such ridiculous reasoning was strange, and so did Mindy Mouse, Casey Cat and Portia Poodle. I forgot to address this earlier, but Cameron - keep your teeth out of my flank! Maybe sink 'em into some shrooms instead... tasty shrooms... <om nom nom>
  25. Nei-he-heigh! Just as I was about to turn in for a nap, too... <yawn> Allow me to address your concerns before starting on my new batch of tasty tasty shrooms. Please, my first contribution wasn't on page 11 that late in to the day. I started the day the same as any one else, and when I next checked in a lot had happened and I needed to get my bearings. Not wanting to pop in without saying anything, I said that. I did share some opinions too, if you'd bother to look in to what I said instead of skimming it and labelling it 'nonsensical'. I thought that the reason proposed for a lynch was - from what I'd gathered - hardly a reason for a lynch. That was my opinion on the matter then. My apologies for being busy. Someone has to vote last, as our dearly departed Petey pointed out, and I responded to that then, thank you very much. Geez Maurice, it's almost as if you're trying to make me look bad. I did bring that up again, in the quote you referenced even. (Third line down, little to the right. It's the link to, oh hey, Petey's list...) Yes, my first statement yesterday was trying to make sense of the night's events. I said, was that I hoped - against popular opinion - that the axe-killer was a scum (as if it weren't then the implications would be unpleasant). However, I still had it in my head that the axe-killer wasn't scum (despite what I hoped)- mainly thanks to what Cameron and Portia said. Therefore, when I next spoke, I just ran with my thoughts. I didn't contradict myself as I didn't say the axe-killer was scum, or even that I thought he was scum. You're confusing thoughts with hopes, although I suppose my wording didn't help. I apologise. And I didn't mean for my 'stating as fact' to be interpreted as fact, I was just galloping with my thoughts there. What do you have against summaries? I made it clear that that summary was to lay out to myself why people were voting for Carly, so I could assess and either agree or disagree with it instead of just jumping on the band-wagon without a thought. Yeah, I totally jumped on that out of the blue. It's not like I pointed out that I found Ralphy weird (again in the post you referenced before Casey even made her casey... Oh, so you did. Credit to you for planting that thought in my mind then. Still, I was suggesting that perhaps the order in which he appeared has something to do with anything, but I'm less inclined to think it's that complex, or even relevant since he didn't show up last night. Maybe he's just there to confuse us. Like a crow or something. Now if you don't mind, these mushrooms are looking particularly potent - potent with flavour of course, and I'm dying to try them out. I'll be back after I sleep it off.
