Eurobricks Mafia: Night Zero (Confirmation thread)
iamded replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Ah! This helmet reveals my distinct lack of hair! My secret has been exposed! At least I still have these youthful freckles. And an abundance of emoticons. Draggy, want an apple? Or perhaps a sausage roll? A cart of potatoes? -
Heartlake Heartbreak - Conclusion: Still Alive
iamded replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, this was one heck of a game. Shadows, I'm not totally sure why you chose me as the replacement Cult Leader, but I'm not complaining. You did well setting things up as deviously as you did, you magnificent bastard you. Hinck, you were of course a powerhouse for the team. You're always an invaluable team mate to have, your dedication and obsession is a thing to behold. Danny, thanks for being there for Hinck and the team while Draggy and I were away, we couldn't have done this without your help. And Draggy, you were also an invaluable asset, both on and off the team. And of course Cecilie, we couldn't have done it without you. What a team, you all did great. And DarkDragon, thanks for hosting this wonderful game. It was certainly tense at times, exciting, and most importantly fun to play. -
But that's where the fun is! If there are spots available I'll add my name to the list. Let's shake up the Mafia games, shall we?

You know what they say about lynching liars... I voted for him yesterday and I'm happy to do so again. On day 4 all his suspects were now confirmed townies, and when people started voting for the scum-bag Tammy he chipped in his vote, but formatted incorrectly so as to not be counted, which he only corrected when the bandwagon was irreversible. On day 5 he suspected Penny, but didn't vote for her when the vote was going that way. He even showed up near the end of the day to say something, but ended the day without voting. Maybe he knew Penny was town and didn't want to be on that bandwagon? I dunno, it all just seems off to me. I'll follow through with yesterday's choice and vote: Sara (TheBoyWonder).

A bad one. He just said that. I think you mean to ask why you give him a bad vibe. -
Heartlake Heartbreak - Day Six: Under Pressure
iamded replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hmm... hmmmmm.... I'm hesitant to vote for Bob due to his lack of defence and willingness to kick the bucket. No alternate lynch targets brought forward, not even Sara. Unless it was a terrible gambit, or a death of their own somehow boosts the scum team, I don't see Bob being scum. Although if it was a gambit, then he played me. Still, I'm more comfortable voting for Sara right now, that "I had lunch therefore am town" excuse doesn't really cut it for me. Vote: Sara (TheBoyWonder) -

Looking back on past days, I haven't seen much of note. People were suspicious of Shadell, she talked her way out of suspicion, not well enough though, ended up dead, then people thought she was janitored... I haven't seen much exciting, except this, when the now ex-scum Daisy votes for Katie. Day 3, I suppose it was time the scum could make a gambit like that, voting for one of their own, but I'm not sure. Given all the doubt around Katie's allegiance, it seems something worth mentioning. Oh my. That depends on how good you are with your hands... for fixing fences, you see. -

Well, that's what I plan to look for. I should have said 'and anyone who was pushing against Carl, Penny or Ginny'. -
Heartlake Heartbreak - Day Six: Under Pressure
iamded replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Carl! :cry_sad: I'm finally back to full capacity, and I'm greeted with this! Who will fix fences with me now? Sigh. What a terrible morning. And Shadell was the founder of some infamously grey thing? Grey is never a good thing. With this news, it's a damn fine idea to relook at days 3 and 4, although I'm hoping the common theory is right and Shadell was the leader. With the 'Cult Hunter' role he claimed, it would make sense, and it's common knowledge that a leaderless cult is no cult at all. And with no suicides, we can assume he failed to convert anyone. And with that, we can take solace in that all we have left to worry about is what we were originally worrying about, these horse killing scum. I can't imagine there are more than two, likely there's only one, and we must be getting close to nailing him now. So! Time to take a gander at days 3 and 4, and look again at those who have been quiet, those who were pushing against Carl, Penny and Ginny. Hm, Ginny. At least we can cross her off our suspects list... -

Woo! That's what we call a victory. The scum can't have many left now, if we play our cards right we could win this today! -
Heartlake Heartbreak - Day Four: Motorcycle Drive By

Well I gotta hand it to this Beeker, or Bunsen, whichever it is, your investigation results haven't failed us yet and I'm a big believer in testing, so I won't hesitate to Vote: Tammy (Tamamono). At least she's given us a wall of text to analyse, so we can hopefully learn more after she's outed as scum tomorrow morning. Sure thing boy, here ya go! -

<Amy looks around uncomfortably...> Soooo... it's either Daisy or Katie. If the day investigator can check out either of those two, it would certainly help this case. If we investigate Daisy then we should be able to verify or dispute Oscar's claims as well, even though Oscar's already allegedly been confirmed townie twice. Still, better to be doubly triply sure, right? -

White tile, not pink. The colour of the chest alters it's appearance. So a postcard, a white tile and something yellow? It sure seems like a clue, just not a very helpful one... -

Well, we just got up and already there's so much happening. So the townie cult hunter/cult leader/maybe just scum/whatever is actually, well, we don't know. That certainly puts a damper on that, the whole reason for voting her out was to get some solid answers. It looks like she's been janitored, it would be the perfect opportunity for the scum to do so. On a lighter note, there's one less scum to worry about! And we've already got a lead on the next one, right on! Strange items to have, Daisy. We knew about the glasses, but the moustache is new... Another lunch stolen too, I thought we were over that by now. And poor Heather! Is that a bag over her head as well? Seems like an awfully scummy way to kill someone, unlike the random accidents that occur during the day. No, I think that night kill is the work of scum. It's day 4, which would mean it's been 3 nights with only one scum kill. One was blocked, the other was..? Here's hoping it was a failed kill, but there's always the possibility that a conversion took place. -
Heartlake Heartbreak - Day Three: Don't Ask Me Why
iamded replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sheesh. So, okay. Humm. I'm not sure about this Shadell thing, guys. Surely if she were scum, she'd have come up with something more believable to dupe us with. She's a smart person, why would she claim such a convoluted role when she could have done something much simpler and more believable? Why would she claim such a convoluted role if there was no truth to it? It's disconcerting, to say the least. But her lynch will provide answers at least. I think we should take note of the people who are quick to disregard a cult, as well. Who'd be more eager to shrug off the possibility of a cult than a cultist? It was proposed by several people at the start of all this that it's possible there are multiple scum teams, so why couldn't there be a scum team and a cult? I think in order to win this, we shouldn't discount the possibilities. Be prepared for anything, and all that. The day kills too, I'm still finding a tad confusing. What with an allegedly confirmed scum being killed, there's no way it's a scum day killer, so Vigilante sounds certainly possible. Or, of course, it could be a serial killer, however if it is then I doubt there's a cult or two scum teams. Surely if it is a Vigilante, they would have gotten in contact with someone like Oscar. Maybe they have. The thing I find most confusing is the means, though, they're all bizarre and random methods, which isn't normally the case. It's strange. Then again, so is the fact that there is even a day killer, so... hmm. Of course I don't want any penalties tomorrow, so for the sake of getting some definitive answers, I'll chip into the vote pool and Vote: Shadell (Shadows). -
Heartlake Heartbreak - Day Three: Don't Ask Me Why
iamded replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm still reading though the transcripts Julia's kind enough to keep, and I'm thinking the best sounding bet for our votes is the person whom this Day Investigator turned up as scum. If you get an investigation result that turns up scum, then of course you test it. Then again that might be what we're doing, but I just thought I'd throw that opinion in and I'll have something more substantial in a while. -

Heartlake Heartbreak - Day Two: Flagpole Sitta
iamded replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
While your confused flailing is worthy of alert, you make this valid point. Something to consider, that the day killer could be a Serial Killer rather than a Vigilante, following an alleged confirmed Townie's advice to gain trust. Already a lot of people are assuming the day killer is the Vigilante. I think Dave's reaction to the hedgehog's test is alright. Perhaps he thought the killer was against us – scum or neutral. If Oscar had any clue as to the killer's identity, when the killer could be scum or Serial, then it explains why Dave would want to know why Oscar wasn't sharing this. At least, that's what I got from that. Anyway, I've stated my reasons for why I'd vote for Walter, and there's still 5 more votes before a conviction, so I'll go ahead and slap my vote down now. Vote: Walter (Waterbrick Down) I'm feelin' good about this one. Walter, if you are actually town, do pass on your lunch to someone trusted as has been mentioned. If you turn up town, then if someone protected another last night, I think you've a good reason to trust that person as it's likely they were targeted by scum and therefore town. Alternately, be on the lookout for people who appeared very town on Day 1, as a conversion would be a strong possibility. Again, only if Walter turns out town. -
Heartlake Heartbreak - Day Two: Flagpole Sitta
iamded replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, that was less exciting than I had hoped. Oh well, at least it's sorted now. I think what he means is logic points to the person who was blocked last night being the killer, as there was no night kill. Of course this doesn't confirm him as the scum killer, he could be a serial killer. It also doesn't confirm him as a killer at all, as he could have been doing a different action, or nothing at all as he claims, with the target being protected as he suggested. Of course, I'm likely to put my vote against Walter today nonetheless, as the whole situation just seems too right to ignore. Any other day a night passed without a kill and we knew someone who was blocked, we'd jump on them without hesitation. The only reason for doubt today is the poor odds of a blocker successfully targeting a night killer on the first night, but then again the odds are the same for a protector targeting the victim on the first night. Of course, there's the other possibility that there was no kill attempt at all, whether because of a conversion, or a some crazy gambit to confuse us. Maybe the scum have a reason to hold back on kills, though what that would be I'm not sure. Hey, that's not totally fair. I've helped when I can and I've shared what I know. And for the record, the Heather thing could have been interesting, it just turned out not to be. And excuse me for having fun. So I like repairing fences, there's nothing wrong with that. And before you discount the previous paragraph of words I spouted, it's not me summarising, it's me talking to myself, brainstorming as I go. I'm not the only one who does it. Also, I prefer humming to lalalaing, and playfully poking my tongue out to open mouthed smiles. -

My my my, that was a stroke of genius on the apple/cake/steak thing. Good thinking, Daisy. The news on Walter seems pretty damning to me. It's not often there are no night kills, and to see someone blocked, well, my money's on the blocked fellow being a killer. I'm curious to see where Heather's accusation towards the hedgehog goes as well. Also, holy crap, the chickens are murderers. These day deaths, man! After yesterday's hay bale incident I figured it was an act of god, or perhaps a trap killer. I don't see how killer chickens are a trap though, or a weapon or what. I don't understand how any killer could utilise these methods, they seem more like random acts of chaos. But then, it's the only kills that have taken place, so I'm kind of doubting it's an act of God. Also I now agree with the point made yesterday, if it was an act of god surely there'd be some clarification of that? Yeesh, I'm eager to hear other's opinions because it's all confusing to me. -

So three different lunches with the same action. Mine's the third – a rather tasty bag of donuts. I wonder how many of these actions there were at the start of all this? If it was a vigilante, wouldn't the best thing to do have been nothing at all? The chances of hitting a scum on the first day are terribly low, so it would be wise to hold back rather than strike blindly. Watching? That explains the glasses I saw. You do have glasses, it's true. I admit, my lunch made me incredibly inquisitive, so I peeked into your room and saw a pair of black rimmed glasses, but without the glass. Incidentally, Officer Fred seems to have had the same reaction to his lunch, and coincidentally also chose your room to peek in. I was going to keep the information to myself, but sharing it can validate the Officer's claim and doesn't give the scum anything to go on, so share I shall. On an unrelated note, are there any more repairs that I may need your help with, Carl? I think we did a charming job on the fence yesterday... -

Well. I was ready to vote for Trisha after she stated with confidence that she did have a detector, only to later explain that it was all a lie. But then it was pointed out that when Trisha stated she had the detector, she genuinely thought she did as she thought Fred had given it to her, being a cop and all. But surely someone would have told her if she had received a lie detector? Assuming you have something without any confirmation is just... not something people do. You don't just try and perform an action on the assumption that you can, you have to know that you can do said action. And so, unless Trisha was told in private that she had a lie detector then she shouldn't have stated she ever did, and she should never have assumed she did. Now, I assume we all know of the 2 vote penalty for not voting, so with motivation like that I'll Vote: Trisha (TrumpetKing67) I'm not sure what to think of Daisy. Her admitting to her mistake is reasonable, as it's just illogical for anyone to have acted that way, regardless of alignment. She's still quite aggressively defensive though, which is expected of her, but... hmm. I'm still unnerved at the hedgehog, the cop and the blonde not being at each other's throats as well. Oh, and before I forget – on the off chance there's a lie detector out there – I'm aligned with the town, I'm innocent, I'm not a killer and I like long walks down the fenceline. -

My my, this is indeed a tragic turn of events. I'm just thankful my dear Wild Dragon is alright, I have no idea what I'd do if something were to happen to him! I noticed the fence could do with some fixing up, if nobody minds I can try a bit of repair work. Um, feel free to join me Carl, y'know, if you want. Like old times.
