  1. @NickLafreniere Why did you decide to use mini train wheels on the coaches...? Imho it make the coaches look funny to be situated lower than the engine...
  2. If anyones’ taking suggestions, I think it’d be amazing to have a moving banner featuring those 8? 16? bit train sprites from a few decades back. If that’s not possible, maybe we can convince @Tenderlok to provide an ensemble shot of all the steamers he’s built?
  3. @Alban Nanty These may be too large requests to be reasonable, but would it be possible to have user rebinding of the controls? Multiple projects open in a single window?
  4. @Phil B Are the drivers powered or pushed? Did you quarter (offset) the connecting rods? Are the switches 9V or plastic? Is your engine centered on the driving wheels or on the leading&trailing truck(s)?
  5. I always thought that a sign of good sales was not being able to keep up with demand...?
  6. Just how long was that while...?
  7. @Alban Nanty will there be control schemes for people without mousewheels to click on?
  8. @sheo How does the Company deal with their wasp's aggression when it comes to rival companies and interplanetary marauders...? I only ask because I used to ship via Planet Express, but they've been out of business for a while now...
  9. I too prefer the bright red... but I think only because my brain has associated that color with that particular engine. If it were in dark red, I’d somehow mistake it for some other loco.
  10. I’d say go independent “until the dust settles” over on BL before re-upping your stuff...
  11. That’ll be $1499.99 sans tax. Just kidding! I havent a clue as to how much that would be... Although... Do you plan on building this in red or dark red...?
  12. @dr_spock Do you *have* to have the tilting of the device as the input though? Judging by the screenshot, it looks like one should be able to associate some other form of input(s)...?
  13. Don’t be bitter. Be better. . . . While I couldn’t say it would never happen in the City line (or in general), it would be interesting to see a non-licensed $300+ usd set. Think of the non-motorized possibilities: - A large play set with 2~3 engines and 5~7 cars - An EN or HE “like” set with a complement of 3~4 coaches and a decent station build (think a smaller version of that WV station) - An N-in-1 set with around 3.000+ pieces
  14. Will that subway include Terrence & Phillip minifigs...? Maybe a smoldering Justin Trudeau?
  15. @SteamSewnEmpire A “grab-bag” you say? What else is in there?
  16. @SteamSewnEmpire Niceee! Is there a part for the front of the boiler that is more bullet-shaped...? Personally, I don’t like the red/black color scheme... I think a lt. bley/dk. red or azure/red could be really striking. Are you planning to do a matching coach or two?
  17. Ya wanna get real dark-future dystopian...? I forsee either Amazon, Disney, or Tencent buying up our favorite brand.... ”Dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same...” - Thanos
  18. @Andalo_an Unless you have an alternative to/ modified version of lego's 9V speed regulator, I would recommend using at least 2 regulators. I would have one controlling the outer two loops and the other on the inner loop & sidings. It helps to insulate the loops from each other, especially if you envision running trains in opposite directions. Your original layout is probably not working well due to cleanliness, 'cold' motors, and the amount of trackage being operated by the single regulator.
  19. No, I think the real goal of this set was to simultaneously get our hopes up as well as waste our time. But hey, it'll supposedly be a GwP... yAy
  20. No offense, but you prob shouldn’t have mentioned it in the 1st place. Cuz now inquiring minds wanna know...!!
  21. Its gunna suck though if this set is limited to an employee gift...
  22. Maybe clean the track...? Assuming each controller is connected to multiple 9V power clips, check their polarities...? Do you have insulation segments...? Maybe some motors are just... feeling their age...? Its also possible that if the controllers are situated right next to each other, the ones with heightened capabilities are radiating EMF to the weaker ones...? Thats all I got
  23. You could also modify a BBB spoked wheel with the outline of an offset pin hole. This way, no actual lego parts are modified... Now that I think about it... you might even be able to attach a pin to one of the spokes of said BBB wheel...?
  24. Shockingly, I’d say less is more. I would either reduce the layout to a single track mainline, or compact the two lines to a 4 stud margin instead of 8 (wherever possible).
