  1. Thanks paupadros! Yes I know, so many entries. I wouldn't want to be the judge in that contest!
  2. You might have seen my Mini Modular versions of the official modular buildings. A competition made me think about creating some more Mini Modulars of my own design. This is what I came up with: The Dentist's Office This is the Mini Modular Dentist Office. Located in an old renovated house. The terrace in the back awaits the weekly AW with comfy chairs and a BBQ grill. The Hotel The Corner Block This is a small residential building in some Swedish town. (note the yellow mailbox). Joe's Garage The Town House
  3. Ok, that will probably work.
  4. Some great adjustments there! Looks great! However... you MUST use click-hinges for attaching the wings. There is no way they will stay in position it you use regular hinges. Thanks! It was a great MOCing experience putting this thing together.
  5. Thanks! If you two like it I guess I did some things right :) Thanks! Thank you! I don't know about Ideas... I've tried to put some things up there before. I don't believe a single Architecture set ever reached 10.000 supporters.
  6. Thank you! I was also blown away the first time I saw it. My reference image might not be the best one of this magnificent building. Take a look at these images: http://snohetta.com/project/5-bibliotheca-alexandrina
  7. Thanks! It was a lot of fun to build and figure out the right parts.
  8. I have never visited Singapore. But the marina bay area caught my eye when LEGO launched the Marina Bay Sands Architecture set. Som many fascinating buildings and landmarks in this city! I have a personal connection to this city. My employee has an office there. Maybe I'll visit them some day :) This is my entry for Marchitecture 2017 - Categpory 2: City Skyline Reference images (from left): Gardens by the Bay ArtScience Museum Marina Bay Sands Marina Boulevard Financial Centre Singapore Flyer The Merlion Download LXF here (The new macaroni tiles are not in LDD yet so I had to leave them out. Also, the lipstick doesn't quite fit into the Merlion in LDD, but works with real bricks)
  9. The Ancient Library of Alexandria was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world. It contained all knowledge known to man, before it was burned to the ground by the Romans. In 1988 a competition was held. The grand prize: Build the revived Library of Alexandria! The prestigious mission was given to Norwegian architectural office Snøhetta. Construction began in 1995 and was completed in 16 October 2002 This is my entry for Marchitecture 2017 - Category 1: Architecture ------------------------------------- This building has fascinated me since the first time I saw it. The simple circular tilted shape makes it look like it was cut straight out from the ground. The circular shape and the form of the windows of the main building was what I focused on when building this. I've tried some different color combinations and picked up many a cheese slope from the floor during the process. :) https://www.flickr.com/photos/o0ger/32798147473
  10. Thanks! Yeah, well. I am aware of this. Thing is Dropbox just made a big change that makes all of my previous links invalid. I need to reshare ALL OF MY FILES!!! Thank you so much Dropbox. I don't have time to do it this weekend though. You can still download it from www.repubrick.com Here is a quicklink: http://adf.ly/1kOkpv (yes, you have to watch an ad first)

    [MOC] Disdain

Thanks! Thank you Paddy! Maybe the blackness gives it some relentless feeling? Or, the black/yellow-striping? Thanks! Yes, it's supposed to me a quick ship. Should be able to run from any situation basically.
  12. Thanks!
  13. Commonwealth Weapons Division Long Range Covert Ops Frigate Code name: DISDAIN Covertly testing experimental weapons in a star system near you! I just decided that I wanted to build a spaceship. I used this image from Deviantart as reference. I'm glad I finally got to use one of those train prisms I've had lying around for quite a while. Instruction and LXF file downloadable from Repubrick.com
  14. This is my Mini Modular version of the LEGO 10255 Assembly Square modular building. LXF here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/o0ger/minimodulars
  15. Thanks Zork! Well, my next project is (probably) either a mech or a sci-fi micro city.
  16. Thank you! It is my idea to use the wings as roof. I got the idea in 2013 when I first bought the two wing-pieces for another MOC. I just sat there with the two wings in my hands and started thinking about other ways to use them. A roof just seemed obvious.
  17. Thank you! I wanted to build something modern and big. It's not something you see that often in LEGO Mocs. I also wanted to keep it clean and realistic. Glad you like the punk. When I started to build the chess board the idea of a punk came to me. I think it's because I associate that to a character from the Millennium book series, Lisbeth Salander, the punk rock hacker genius badass :D. In the book "The Girl in the Spider's Web" Lisbeth beats some guy at chess just to break him down mentally before she interrogates him. I guess that scene just stuck. Thanks everyone! Really glad you like it! Hey, steal away! :)
  18. Thanks you! No interior shots, mostly because there is no interior. Just walls. Thanks! It's exactly what I was going for. I just wanted a clean modern building.
  19. This is a house where people meet and hang out, watch the latest indie band, record a demo, paint, or just grab a cup of coffee in the café. Welcome to the LEGO City House of Culture! ------------------------ The house is built on 2x2 Moduverse plates. (64x64 studs). About 4000 pieces. I've been wanting to use the big wing part as a roof for many years. But it took a contest (as always) to complete this project. I started sketching in LDD in april 2016 and began building it about a month ago. 20. Thanks man!
  21. Well, no, but it was the best I could do. I'm proud of the crashing feature though :)
  22. Thank you so much! There are many good entries in the competition. I'm not holding my hopes too high :)
  23. Ok! Thanks! I don't know why I used that part. I have looked at my real, plastic MOC now and updated the LXF files.
  24. The changes are mostly just adding more plates and SNOT to add stability to the model. Some decoration also. For example I added some reverse finger-hinge technique (http://swooshable.com/snot/finger-hinges) on the front of the fuselage. In the contest version it is just one long plate. It works with one long plate, but it just holds together better with the finger hinges. You can probably find other solutions as well.
  25. Thanks!
