  1. Cool! Looking good so far. I tried a few things but I couldn't find the right size either. Damn, I didn't notice that! Thanks for pointing that out. I used http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=3146#T=C instead. You could ask me: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3948340/o0ger_Blade_Wing_Starfighter.lxf I post most of my digital builds to Repubrick (https://www.repubrick.com). It is a place where AFOLs share digital creations with each other. Repubrick uses adfly for links and it gives the creator like half a cent per download or something. I don't charge large sums of money for my MOCs. You just need to watch an ad for 5 seconds. Don't you think that's fair? I think adfly is a legit site, maybe your malware detection software is a bit aggressive? Have you found more? other than the 6x6 wedge plate?
  2. Thanks! Yes! The others are all too small!
  3. cheers! :) Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention this. You need to replace all green headlight bricks with 1x1 technic bricks!
  4. Yeah, And the UCS Sandcrawler...
  5. Thanks! B-Wing is the coolest ship! :) Yeah, the jury will have a hard time.
  6. Hey! Here is the LXF. Seems I can't attach file types other than images, so you need to download it from Repubrick: https://www.repubrick.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=4215 (direct link: http://adf.ly/1hWdnh) Edit: I guess I must have screwed up somtheing in Dropbox again. Here is a new link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fr8g0f7zy8rwuuw/o0ger_Blade_Wing_Starfighter.lxf?dl=0 You need to replace the green headlight bricks with 1x1 technic bricks. Enjoy!
  7. Great! Thanks! That is exactly what the contest is about. The goal is to design a set as close to what LEGO would design themselves as possible. Zam is the original Zam, with another head. (from Sabine Wren actually)
  8. Thanks everyone! I will post an LXF file next year. My experience with LEGO Ideas isn't that good so far. TLG have also said that they will not accept LEGO Ideas that are part of already existing themes. It will be exciting to see what happens if Rey's Speeder gets 10.000 supporters.
  9. Thank you everyone for your comments! Heh! Thanks! It was the last thing I built in the set. I had not reached the part limit of 500 parts so I figured the set needed something more. I think the entrance gives the set even more playability. I don't know if you watched the video. Did you see the "crash function" on Zam's speeder? This is how it's done: You can use wedge plates (like I did) or slopes to get the same result.
  10. Really? :) do you have a link?
  11. Thanks Smitty. You are right about the sharp back part of the ship, and maybe the scale is a bit off too. However, there is a part limit around 700 parts in the contest. I really had to choose carefully what details to focus on. I also wanted it to be kinda big, not as small as the B-wing sets released before. I think the cockpits are around 100 parts both, but I really wanted them detailed. I hade to leave out som details, like the back part of the ship. If I had had more time and more parts to build with, I would probably not have finished it at all ;) So I think the part limit in this contest was actually good. I mostly need restrictions and a deadline to finish things :)
  12. Thanks! I know, I started out with orange, but it was too difficult to find good parts. So I choose red. I don't think the exakt color from the show exists in lego. I'll give you the LDD later. I'll just wait for the contest to finish first :) Thank you! I love the B-Wing too. Maybe I'll build another some day. I've made an image explaining how the rotation works. Get it?:
  13. Thanks! I'm not a prequel fan either. But I really dig those speeders! :)

  16. Thank you for your kind words :)
  17. Well spotted! Especially since Jamie showed us "all" the new parts in the clip. Here are some other images:
  18. Well, I might take som more images later. Right now I'm a bit exhausted though and would rather like to focus on something else :D You could take a look at this video in the meantime: SHIPtember WIP by o0ger, on Flickr
  19. "Persistence" - Exodus Fleet Mobile Construction Yard Persistence by o0ger, on Flickr Length: 105 studs Number of parts: not a clue This is where most vessels in the Exodus fleet are constructed and repaired. The mobile refinery supplies the construction yard with refined metal from nearby asteroids. Persistence - Details by o0ger, on Flickr Currently a batch of fighters are loaded up for testing in the main hangar. In the mid ship construction dock a new Attack Frigate is under construction. This is my SHIPtember SHIP for 2016. My goal was to use that big yellow Duplo part, and use some kind of lighting. The ship's interior is somewhat lit up by a EL-wire and the construction dock is lit by lifelites. Persistence - Side by o0ger, on Flickr
  20. Thank you for noticing all the details that I've spent way to much time on :)
  21. Thank you! It was fun building him! I think I will build more figures like this in the future.
  22. I have to correct my previous post, again ;) I found another image of the camera from this set: LEGO Friends 41134 - Heartlake Performance School by THE BRICK TIME Team, on Flickr It shows the SNOT-brick is tilted on it's side. So i think my previous statement actually holds water: "I think this is not a bug, but against LEGO Building Guidelines. When you insert a bar into a hollow stud it actually expands, just a tiny bit. All AFOLs of course build like this, but I don't think you will ever find this in an official set."

All AFOLs of course build like this, but I don't think you will ever find this in an official set. Well, what do you know. I didn't have to search long to find an example of that technique in an official set: LEGO Friends Heartlake Performance School (41134) by Allen Tran, on Flickr Look at the camera.
  24. Ok, that is unfortunate. I just see some guy with a beard. Thank you! Yes, the dark blue was bit of a challenge!
  25. Thanks! :) Yes, you'd better! They will probably not be around for too long. Thanks for your input Pate-keetongu! Much appreciated. I was going for a kind of power-armor/exo-suit look. The idea is that the suit gives the wearer enhanced strength, as well as protecting from temperature, radiation and bullets. The thick legs could be explained by all kinds of gears and machinery that gives the wearer the ability to jump much higher or run faster. I see what you mean about the knee joint though :) It's not to clear where it is located. I badly wanted to use the Ben 10 parts though, so this is what I ended up with. There is no reference material. This is all completely made up. It started with me holding the Obi-Wan head in one hand and digging through my bin of cool parts with the other hand. This is the result. :) One of my favourite TV-series as a teen was "Time Trax". The main villain was called Mordechai Sahmbi. That name just stuck with me. I always thought it was such a cool name ;)
