  1. I just received my round tracks and the monorail motor! Hope to have some spare time next weekend :)
  2. because Big Ben Beneke makes them!
  3. Indeed, I group the stickers on a background color, but it is a good solution to put more Post logos on it! Maybe a separate sheet for all train + shell related items.
  4. Very very nice! Nice colors and very nice curves!
  5. It is an older version but it is always a good ice to check with LEGO for a replacement. My brother in law has good experiences with that (accidentally one of my nieces drowned the train in a bucket of water ;)) although he told LEGO the cause, they just replaced it without any charge.
  6. I have corrected it :) (I think the postal service already has had them for some days Heppeng). I just printed a correction sheet, so if you want I can also send that :) About the size of the sheets, it is the difficult thing that there are so many logo's / numbers / differences. So in the end it will be much cheaper to sell it like this, we otherwise need to charge for a whole bunch of stickers one does not need: If you only get the numbers and e.g. DB then you still have some left for another train, but won't have a bunch of different logos that you can't use. (and there are original sheets that are much much worse!)
  7. No but I want to always make it as good as possible of course!!! :)
  8. That is not good! I will have a look at it and will change it (I have 7740 in bricks with originals), better also mail me about it! Must have been a conversion problem from the old to our new machine (I needed to convert all old stickers...)
  9. See this topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=84727&hl=%2Bpower+%2Bfunctions
  10. now and then it is a challenge since often manufactures seal the chips... I'm suspecting a motor driver IC is the cause. (not an electrical engineer myself, but do teach Informatica / Embedded systems so have some professional knowledge).
  11. Can you maybe upload pictures? That would help. Better also try to find or reproduce the circuit.
  12. Hi Esben, it is a very, very nice train! The station is also nice.
  13. looks great! Nice updates!
  14. Federal Brick Investigators?!
  15. nice job! hope your cables will fit inside!
  16. Thanks for this nice tutorial!!! When I finish indexing more of such a topics I will put it up including yours!
  17. Sérgio you did a great job!!! again!!! Hope you will find resources soon, but a virtual version is also very neat!
  18. Thanks KringlesBricks, not sure about the cars yet. The UP Family days train would be a good idea but will cost quite a lot I guess ;)) @Zephyr: I think you are right indeed! I'm just recently became more involved in the history of American trains, but it is very interesting material! I will also follow your advice with the stripes. Now I need to design it when I get some time!
  19. works very nice!!! My Bricklink order is on it's way ;) hope to make a tutorial for simple automation as promised!
  20. That would be a good solution 404404, b.t.w. welcome to EB and the Train Tech forum (why don't you introduce yourself along the line ;)), the larger panels are a bit problematic for my PF version though since the wires won't fit than anymore (if you look closely you can see that!) so probably a stickers would not be that bad after all... @zephyr1934: thanks for the advice! B.t.w. what do you think the Super Chief is based on? From wikipedia, there are some options: "The first motive power set on Super Chief-1 consisted of a pair of blunt-nosed, diesel-electric units (EMC 1800 hp B-B) designated as Nos. 1 and 1A. Santa Fe employees quickly hung the nicknames "One-Spot Twins" and "Amos & Andy" (from the popular radio show of the day) on the units, which were always paired and ran back-to-back. In a little over a year the EMC E1, a new and improved 3,600 hp (2.7 MW) streamlined diesel-electric locomotive set (one 1800 hp hood unit and the other a cabless booster unit also making 1800 hp) would be pulling Super Chief consists. A variety of state-of-the-art locomotives (including ALCO PAs, EMD E6s, FTs, F3s, F7s, and FP45s, along with Santa Fe's only ALCO DL-107/108s and FM Erie-built units) would make their appearances on the line in the succeeding years. All wore the now-familiar Warbonnet paint scheme devised by Leland Knickerbocker of the GM "Art and Color Section" that debuted on the Super Chief-2."
  21. @UrbanErwin, not that complicated, I might 'steal' your idea and make a tutorial for it!
  22. Excellent idea!!! now you need reed sensors and an Arduino to control the system :)
  23. strange sets with very interesting parts!
  24. Hi Andromeda, no problem using this thread if it is about the same issue! Maybe a good idea to also use a scope?!!
  25. @Hrw-Amen, it will help making a solid balast under the tracks:
