  1. I looked at them once more and... now I'm sure Zane is included in the Ninjacopter. The set also includes another named character with grayish hair - the overall shape of the hairpiece makes me think of human Garmadon or Misako. The Nindroid Dragon seems to include a redesigned Sensei Wu (some dark colors)...
  2. The former.
  3. Nope, it's most definitely an Octuptarra combat Tri Droid. A shame its three blaster cannons are really flick fire missles...
  4. I don't know which set he comes in, because the pics I saw were small and the minifigs mostly unrecognizable.
  5. The Utapau Battle Pack indeed comes with 4 clones and an Octuptarra Tri-Droid!
  6. Just saw small images of the new sets, including the Ninjacopter and the Nindroid Dragon. The Dragon (70725) - WOW, looks really big and cool, just like on the promo poster. It's mostly black and white, with some purple. The head is indeed brick-built, at least partially. Big saw blades on the wigs. It's legs look sturdy and quite different from the rest of the dragons. The set comes with at least two nindroids, Lloyd and what seems to be a little (but not goofy looking) buggy for our green ninja. The Ninjacopter (70724) - meh, looks like an unused design from Galaxy Squad. The promo poster (it's the vehicle on the right) does a good job representing its aesthetics, so don't get too excited. :/
  7. My top favourites are: 9448 Samurai Mech - majestic mech, great minifigures, excellent parts selection 2507 Fire Temple - spectacular, aesthetically pleasing model with neat play function, great selection of parts and minifigs 9446 Destiny's Bounty - amazing looking ship, interesting transformation functions, nice minifigs 2508 Blacksmith Shop - nice little model with a moving wall function, good parts and weapons selection making it a nice value pack
  8. The sets images seem to be gone. Where can I find them?
  9. I've already disassembled this bad boy, but here are two screenshots from LDD showing the back: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kirys/SteampunkRobot/steampunk_mech.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kirys/SteampunkRobot/steampunk_mech_02.png
  10. Nice. I wouldn't have guessed this thing isn't an actual set!
  11. Very simple, but cute. The color scheme is nice. You may want to replace the black slope (windscreen) with something studless.
  12. Here’s my very first attempt at creating a steampunkish robot MOC. A small-sized, fully automatic battle machine capable of unleashing deadly energy blasts from its hands and central eye. This walking tank thingy can provide support for infantry or help the army make its way through hostile terrain by destroying various obstacles such as rocks and trees. I was inspired mostly by RAZORTIME from the famous French anime Wakfu and also Nox’s Clock Fortress to a lesser degree. I think I’ve managed to capture the clock aesthetics quite well. It kinda looks like a classic alarm clock. :) More photos: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kirys/SteampunkRobot/robot01.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kirys/SteampunkRobot/robot02.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kirys/SteampunkRobot/robot03.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Kirys/SteampunkRobot/robot_fire.png Gallery (when public) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=533509
  13. Almost perfect, mate! But I've got a feeling that the "cheeks" are a bit too high and, as a result, it lacks the "eyes" part. Also, the little crossbow turret at the top should be red instead of light bluish grey,
  14. Or maybe the swivel hinge pieces.
  15. You got a unique piece that spared you the time and effort to paint it and you complain? E-mail the customer service if you want the correct white one for the captain and just keep the rare black one.
  16. Yup, Purgatori was one of my inspirations. I was going to use the black dragon wings from UCS Batmobile, but they are extremely expensive.
  17. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce Miss Hell, a fiery succubus with a fondness for leather gear, whips and chains. She's an unexpected result of my experiments with a certain mech in LDD, a result so nice-looking that I've decided to assemble her with real bricks. 18. This ship looks good, even though almost half of it is not genuine LEGO, but some custom parts. I'd like to see more photos to take a look at some details.
  19. Cool design, it really does look like a cross between the AT-ST and the Clone Personal Walker concept.
  20. Nice. Where's that golden armor piece from? Is the red torso a decal?
  21. I agree about the chimney. It doesn't go well with the rest of the furnace. Try building it using the same technique. The furnace itself looks very good, though.
  22. Nice job remaking a classic. I'd add more foliage and replace the grey drawbridge with a brown (wooden) one.
  23. Hahaha, what an excellent retelling of the classic fairy tale. I'd, however, replace Red Riding Hood's head with Nya's masked face.
  24. Nice little statue, I suppose it'd look good in an Islander-themed diorama.
  25. The original design had white "socks" and no high heels, but - believe me or not! - I had to add them for stability. I figured out THESE combined with THESE make a stronger connection than THESE and THESE. The change of the Technic connector with ball socket for the liftarm created a weird gap in the middle of the foot and made it appear a little bit taller, but I thought... hey! it kinda looks like high heels. So I added a couple of plates and voila, she has nice high heeled boots.
