Yay! Let's just casually put some random pieces on a baseplate and call it a MOC. Sorry if I'm a bit too rough, but this is something a 3 year old would make.

New Ninjago sets available in my local store in Poland. Unfortunately, about half of them is already sold out. They ran out of the Blacksmith, which I wanted so badly...

I'm totally in love with Nya minifigure! She looks even better than on the boxart. Her double-sided face is very pretty and I like the chinese dress printing on her legs and torso. I'm not sure what the daggers are meant to be - lego.com says they are sai, but they look more like ridiculously oversized kunai. If they had put the new hilts instead of the old ones, the daggers would have been 100% oversized kunai.

Mine came with the old lightsaber hilts, despite having new ones printed on the packaging.

Well, the ridiculously oversized bayonet doesn't look realistic to me.

Excellent MOC! I'm not sure about yellow, though. As far as I know, all the yellow parts can be replaced with dark gray or dark bluish gray.

General Grievous mode on!

I may be mistaken, but it seems the back of the box shows Nya locked in one of the prison cells. I had a feeling the fire dragon will be a part of the temple set! Now it looks less colorful, which is a good for me.

Review, pwease! Pwease! PWEASE!

The monster truck appears in the 2nd Ninjago trailer. It shoots a big skeleton hand that grabs Nya. The shooting mechanism probably works with a rubber band, as I can clearly see one holding the "fist". I must say the 2nd wave sets disappointed me. The temple has some really nice pieces, but I expected it to be something really big and super special. The Fire Dragon is too colorful for my taste and the Earth Dragon looks more like a dewback (a SW creature) than a real dragon. At first I thought the momocle skeleton is some kind of a mutant with an even bigger, horribly deformed head. I was relieved to learn that it's a new helmet which blends with the skull on the photo.

I think it's a common issue with almost all LEGO clips - if, for example, a minifig holds it's weapon for too long, the clip (hand) gets weaker.
-
Thanks for the review! The set itself is decent, I'm going to get multiples.

Jay DX with dragon printing is only available in this one, eh? It means the rumored Lightning Dragon set is a big lie.
-
The Spinjitzu Dojo and the Nija Training Outpost sets also have pins on their edges. I guess you can connect all three to create a larger training centre.
-
The video shows a temple surrounded by lava, which was also shown in the guide through various parts of the Ninjago world. If I remember correctly, there is a rumored set called "Fire Temple". Sooo... I've got a feeling THIS is the temple that will be released as a set. Around August, maybe... I suppose it will be something super special! By the way... Am I the only one thinking the temple set may include a fire dragon for Kai and Nya? Three other dragons are separate sets.

TRU Ninjago release event
Corydoras replied to Solscud007's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I don't think so. Just two headlights lying on jumper plates and the decorated plate sticks to their bottoms. -
That seems unlikely. I've already watched the vids many times and I'm certain they are either shown without back printing (in the scene where they jump with gliders) or with simple print which includes part of the crossbelt/rope (seen when Kai jumps and grabs the golden sword in a cave). I didn't notice any letters or kanji symbols on their backs. Furthermore, it would be pointless to print their names on their torsos - as far as I remember, the ninja wrap covers most of the figure's back. EDIT: Oh no... Ur right, there's one scene where it can be seen. However, I think the wrap (hope they didn't change the mold) would cover any printing on their backs.

There won't be any TV series, but there will be a full-length movie. I guess it's confirmed, since I could clearly see a phrase: "Watch trailer for the upcoming Ninjago movie!" before the 2nd online vid started to load.

Just seen the movie trailers and I must say... Wow! This theme is FUN!
