  1. The connection in the middle is quite clever, including the mounting tto the carriage. I like how you utilized all of the studs on top and holes in the technic brick, the danger sign is brilliant
  2. Welcome to the fourm, be careful with your new addiction, it only gets worse
  3. Hi dekkino and welcome to eurobricks
  4. Nice escalators! I was actually just on one last week and looked down and thought of grill pieces, just turned the other way around When my mind starts doing that, I know its been too long since i've built something I love the snotted windows above the entrance!
  5. Ah, nice with something else than all those super heroes I would love to have helped but I am unable to make decals on my computer these days, so I am in an involuntary hand paint period
  6. Very off topic, but that means reeeaaally bad luck
  7. What kind of figure is it? The custom forum has a decal request thread, i think it is the top sticky one Edit http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=12403&st=2525#entry1903448
  8. Hello and welcome :)
  9. Right now i am listening to some Foreigner, I wanna know what love iiiiiiiiiiiiiiis!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. That is a really nice fort! I was actually just wondering the other day what a mix of masonry bricks and tiles would look like for old walls Turns out it looks pretty great, thanks for clearing that up It has a lot of nice details, i like the "filler" in the walls and under the floors, and the beams sticking out of the walls. Overall it looks really nice and smooth, and I like that it doesn't feel like you tried to squeeze too much in there. And the courtyard just looks nice
  11. It's a really nice collection, you must have already spent a small fortune on it! I thought the yellow "transformer" vehicle was so cool when I was a kid:) today I would go for the forklift:)
  12. A house that clinks Really nice house, I love the interior, not as cramped as the original modulars, and nicely decorated. The kitchen is great
  13. Ah that sound:) it always reminds me of when I was a kid and "tested" my Christmas presents:) Having Lego behind glass is just plain cruel! I agree with those above, the whole point of going there is to be able to pick up the box and be a kid again for 5 minutes. And as stated above, the risk of theft will never justify the expense.
  14. Welcome to eurobricks:) looking forward to seeing those creations:)
  15. Your link works perfectly Some of those pictures bring back pleasant memories
  16. Ok so in the period lego pirates depicts there were about 15 lady pirates, and that is by including to whole centuries, my mistake.
  17. That is one of those cases where I would say "that's just plain silly". There were no female pirates! Just like there are no female storm troopers and no Lady Vader.
  18. That is great for you, if that is what you want. People have different reasons for collecting, some like it because some of the objects are actually rare and hard to find, others just want to have tons of figures. I am not really a collector, but I have some old figs that I would never ever let go, because they are rare, and therefor interesting to me. What you are saying is kind of like saying "why would anybody want a genuine Rembrandt, I just got 10 replicas for 20 bucks".
  19. Welcome to eurobricks aura :) that's a lot of hobbies, makes me wish I had time to do more than just write posts in here :) that reviewer academy program would also be one of the things I would do :) good luck with it :)
  20. Welcome to being active, egg roller:) be careful, it is addictive :)
  21. Those guys had totally been erased from my memory I just had a look at them at BL, the series 1 entries were quite good actually. I am not a western type of guy at all, but still think they are very underrepresented for something that was actually a theme. I would have thought those would be more popular.
  22. Because then you get to build it once more That just looked awesome! I actually don't think a lot of the bricks will break.
  23. In maby cases realistic. I have never seen a female fire fighter or renovation worker Don't get me wrong, I totally get your point and believe in equality, but in some sets female figs are a bit silly. And yes, i realize that it is possible to switch the minifig heads if you wish
  24. That is pretty big. I don't believe I have ever seen that many figs in one place before. Good work, it looks great!
  25. Yes there has not been very much western stuff, I can't remember there being a single one. It is nice with some variety, and he would fit well into the City theme as well. I think he is my favorite of the series so far, if he is infact the one
