  1. This is...Very Exciting! I've often wished lego didn't make just licensed sets based on Disney movies, but on Disneyland rides!
  2. I was very excited about these, but the more I look at them, the less I want any.
  3. My criticism is that I wish they could have gotten the bacta tank in there, as that is a prett significant miss (along with Medic bot) from the previous set. Or at least another couple snowtroopers (and dare I suggest Vader?). I also can't believe that they gave the astrodroid R3-A2 a smokey black dome! She should have the standard clear R3 dome! That totally screws up that figure!
  4. Ugh, I hate that smoky black dome on the astrodroid, R3-A2. She's supposed to have a clear dome!!!
  5. We've already seen pictures of the farmer, haven't we? Green overalls, red shirt, beard, glasses, push broom (for the pig's mess, I presume?)
  6. Where is that head from? It would be great for a Zorro figure!
  7. It would be nice to keep it to keep alive other 'dead' themes. They could do a Haunted Castle, to cross over with castle fans since that theme is going away for Nexo Knights. Likewise, a Haunted Pirate Ship would be great for pirate fans since that theme is gone. Both those things have been featured in prominent Scooby Doo episodes. Also, alien spaceship, Haunted Old West Ghost Town, haunted tropical island Tiki Huts, etc. Lots of crossover theme appeal that is going untapped here!
  8. That's so beautiful! It should go in a museum or something.
  9. A Brownstone would be something of a natural to buy a second copy to have side-by-side with the first as well. Also a natural to include instructions for an alternate build of the facade, as a slightly different style Brownstone. A row of townhouses would be awesome. That's also what I envision doing with Dutch-style buildings like Market Street. Do another variation in yellow, then orange or green, etc. (Go Hawks!)
  10. I'd like to see an American Brownstone-style townhouse, like those in New York or Boston. Also another more European style building - maybe another Dutch style building like Market Street. Is there any chance they might re-release one of the earlier ones in high demand? Like GG?
  11. The DO will look nice attached to the Laundromat side. Laundromat-Pool Hall-Barber sounds like the right line up for a side street.
  12. If they did a gondor soldier w/new helmet mold and white tree printed armor/torso & shield, I would army build it. Expensive way to build an army, but worth it.
  13. I would have loved more traps and hiding places - cabinets, closets, trapdoors, hidden doors, etc. And yeah, how about a net trap instead of that medieval spiky thing? It doesn't fit the theme at all!
  14. I'm kinda of the opposite! I wish the mansion had more rooms and no greenhouse! I wish it had multiple rooms and levels for the gang to explore, and chase and be chased by the monsters and set traps like the show had. Kitchen, laundry room, basement, spooky staircase w/picture portraits, bedrooms...the mansion needed each of the two wings to have two floors for proper play, more like the MF Haunted House.
  15. Very disappointed to hear this is a single wave theme. I guess sales have nothing to do with it! Maybe good sales will bring it back eventually. There is a great opportunity here that they are missing. Without a real castle theme and pirates ending after one wave, a Scooby Doo castle and pirate ship would be great crossover sets. And that Mansion review is lame. I won't be buying that mag.
  16. I suppose something like Techno Knights was inevitable, considering Lego seeing LOTR sales do poorly (Fantasy, trolls, orcs, etc.) and the 2013 standard/traditional line do poorly as well (or we would have seen it continue). Of course, a big part of their weak sales was the fact they were competing with each other1
  17. Nexo Knights? More like Techno Knights.
  18. So, 2013 Lego releases a traditional castle theme to go against, and cannibalize sales from, its licensed fantasy castle them, LOTR. Then nothing until next year's next's apparent sci-fi themed techno-castle. Wonder they can stay in business at all with this type of genius marketing.
  19. I was kind of hoping the mansion set from SD would be like the front half of the Haunted House set. I would still be happy if they did a new, less expensive HH set that has fewer pieces and is more just a facade than a full split-open house. The SD one needs to be more a complete building, with the tower a little shorter and attached to the main structure, which should have an addition level.
  20. How about something like this: Steam(train)punk Castle enough?
  21. I wonder if the new POTC movie (next year?) will shorten the future of this series for a licensed one.
  22. I really like the idea of a 2 pack of Faramir in Ranger attire and Boromir in armor. There was a scene featuring them dressed that way together.
  23. Those wings would be nice for the flying monkey from Wizard of OZ.
  24. Ugh, I'm getting Time Twisters flashbacks....
