Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM Note:You have two options: You could either shoot at him with your crossbow from the top of the tower, since you have a clear line of sight, or you can go down one level so that you can melee attack him next Turn. It's either an immediate weaker attack or taking a turn to set up a stronger attack. Keep in mind that the elf is heading towards your tower anyways, so you could shoot at him this Turn and then melee attack him while moving down a level next Turn. -

I was doing a little research for an upcoming review, and I stumbled upon this. I don't remember it being mentioned before: The Stormtrooper™ Key Light is now ready to join Darth Vader™ and take over the galaxy! The Stormtrooper Key Light is the same size and has the same functions as the captivating Darth Vader LED Key Lights. Press the button on his chest to turn on the lights in his feet and the galaxy is yours! Posable arms and light angling legs. Batteries are included. Height 2.75". Available for pre-order. -
Ouch. That's RPGer's second One-Hit Knock Out taken today.

Results of Round One of Durkon vs. Gibbin: >Durkon vs. Atramor Gibbin - Critical Hit Atramor Gibbin vs. Durkon - Shield Durkon, having learned from your last fight, you're ready and waiting for Atramor's charge, and lightning crackles from your staff to his body in a Great Spell that deals 5 Damage. However, Atramor, you shrug off the blow and drive your dagger into your foe's flank, dealing 35 Damage. Once again, Durkon, you fall the floor, the dagger sliding out of your body as you do. ATRAMOR GIBBIN IS VICTORIOUS! Both combatants do not gain XP and have their Health and Ether fully restored. Consumed items are not replaced, so update your signatures accordingly. GM Note:Technically, I guess you should get to go first since you posted the first proper challenge, but seeing as you're a Level 14.5 and Durkon is a Level 1 who posted the challenge first in the Hall, I'm going to let him go first. vs. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! Combatants: Durkon, Level 1 Mage (played by RPGer) Power:4 Health: 5/5 Ether: 5/5 Gold: 5 Inventory: Staff (WP: 3), Potion, Topaz (Lightning), Bedroll Atramor Gibbin, Level 14.5 Rogue (played by CallMePieOrDie) Power: 22 Health: 21/21 Defense: 2 Gold: 373 Inventory: Sapper (WP: 7; regains 2 HP on successful roll), Cloak of the Elven Spy, Sand Worm Hide (SP: 2), Orc Potions (2), Scroll of Sealing Both of you, choose your targets and the row you want to fight in. Also mention if you want to try to flee, move, heal, or cast a magic spell, or if you want to use an item instead of attacking.

I assume this is an acceptance of a challenge, despite the fact that it wasn't properly posted in the Arena topic. I'll get your battle started...
-
Wrong topic. This should've been posted in Rules and Discussion.

Boy, do I feel stupid. Looks good, Sieggy.

And, like I said, it wouldn't hurt for the text to be white stroked in black. Off the top of my head, I think the only other rank with pure black text is the Taking a Break rank.

On that note, I always use the high-quality rendering and brick outlines, and those are the conditions under which it starts to slow down at around four thousand pieces. I've never actually tried using LDD without all the high-quality graphics options turned on. (when I work with models larger than five thousand pieces, I usually hide whatever I'm not working on, and that speeds things up considerably)

Welcome to EB, LegoWestern! Unfortunately, you must pass a Mafia School game before you can play in an advanced game such as this one. (additionally, you haven't made 10 posts, so you wouldn't be able to receive the PMs necessary for the game) -
I know Legonater also is a big fan, as well as myself. I've posted strips of Darths and Droids and Irregular Webcomic! on more than a couple occasions, but usually I do so during a Star Wars discussion because of some comical fault of the franchise.

Heroica RPG - Quest#14: The Family Recipe
Brickdoctor replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
Hey, I can talk to you! Reviving Thothwick is a better long-term solution. We shouldn't be able to finish the battle this Round anyways, so this way, we'll have an extra hero in the Round after when we can attempt to finish off the enemies. -
Gotta love WBD's reply as Gurnam.

I will consume Smelling Salts, then, on my resulting second Turn, I will revive Thothwick with Phoenix Essence. -

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM Note:I could have the elf cut the rope and dump you on the ground, but that's a good creative solution, so I'll allow it. And it would just take 1 Turn to get to the top of the wall. -
Maybe because your Realm of the Mad God username is 'Harkshire', so he's used to calling you that.

Nice use of those skateboard ramp (?) pieces. Another quality MOC, AC.

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share

QM Note: I'm going to assume that Spag (Kenghis Ghan) starts up the Slice N Dice. Results of Round Eleven of the Battle for Bric'Bay Fort: >William Harkenshire vs. Elven Archer B - Special Damage Xander Unth'or vs. Elven Archer A - Critical Hit >Arthur Justus Regulus VII and Isabella del Toboso (Catapult) vs. Elven Engineer A - Critical Hit >Arasmyth RuGard (Hiyaaaaaa Hwacha) vs. enemies in front of the West Wall - Miss >Althior Emorith vs. Elven Onager - Damage Spag Bitterstalk operates the Slice N Dice Blockade. >Alexandre le Chevalier vs. Elven Archer A Elven Archer B - Critical Hit All Free Hits cause no Damage, as all non-targeted enemies are not in range of any heroes. With new weapons at your disposal, you rush back into battle. William, a little too eager, you miss badly with your shot, and Archer B casually shoots a grappling hook over the West Wall. Xander, on the other hand, you spur your horse onwards and lean over the side, keeping perfect balance as you land a crushing two-handed Extra Critical Hit with your club for 74 Damage that instantly kills Archer A. Arthur and Isabella, you launch a bucket's worth of stones that pepper the eastern bank of the river, causing 2 Damage to Engineer A and 1 Damage to all the nearby enemies. Arasmyth, you fire the Hiyaaaaaa Hwacha, but you just overshoot your target, and the arrows soar off into the distance instead. Athior, you prepare to conjure lighting, but before you can, the Engineers fire the Onager, and a stone slams into the base of the East Wall for 3 Damage. Spag, you start to pull on the rope, and the Slice N Dice begins to whir to life. Alexandre, you quickly switch targets to Archer B and loose an arrow that flies straight into the elf's leg for 5 Damage. "Sir! A force of six elves has entered the river. It will take them 2 more Rounds to cross the river. Additionally, Scout A has scaled the West Wall. He's heading towards the South-West Tower. The Crossbowman there is too weak to hold him off in melee assault. He can either hold off the Scout for 1 Round at the cost of his life, or he can retreat to an adjacent area of the fort. Also, the Elven Onager dealt 3 Damage to the East Wall. Thankfully, that wall is the strongest wall, and we can take more than a few more of those hits." The battle continues... Enemies to the West: Elven Scout A Type: Humanoid Level: 3 Health: 20/20 Special: Spotter - The Elven Scout relays information to his allies concerning the current state of the fort's defenses. I won as Town Cop in Isla Paradisa Mafia School, died in the conclusion of Baritones 3 as a n00bish Town PGO, was lynched Day 6 as Town for general sheepishness in Bloodbrick II, was lynched Day 7 as the last surviving Scum Framer and Bus Driver in Gotham Mafia, and was lynched on Day 3 as the Scum Godfather of IMHOTEP Mafia. I might be away for ten days at the end of March, but I know for certain that I'll have Internet access during that time. I just might not be as active as I usually am during that time. Not much, really. I know a good bit about Japanese food, since it's one of my favorite cuisines, and I know the basic history of Japan. As Gotham Mafia proves, though, I'm good at doing research when I'm playing mafia. -
It's fine with me, but can we wait until the end of Quest 14 to change that? Actually, that's better. I just need to get to, uh, Level 32, and the hat becomes better than what it was originally.
