  2. No, it was my fault. I really should have thought about what I was saying instead of rushing to say it.

You recall that stakes have been placed in front of the West Wall and the South-East Wall, and that the cauldron mechanisms have not been set up yet. You place stakes in the ground near the East Wall, and since you are specifically careful, you don't get blown up. However, because the East Wall, like the West Wall, is so large, you are too tired to complete the job yourself. Someone else will have to help you finish placing stakes. If they do not, siege weapons will have to take an extra Turn maneuvering around the stakes before they can reach the wall, instead of being prevented from reaching the wall.
  4. Like others said, it has been done before, and by that time, I'd messed up so much in my PMs with Hinck that I'd have been surprised if I wasn't lynched, whether you were in the game or not. Also, Hinck did the play a Day earlier featuring my PM mistakes, so once he made his revelation who was who in that play, he started to look like he was the leader.
  5. Nice job, Gunner. I love the playability that you've added. The only thing that's bugging me is the nose. It seems like it doesn't taper enough. (I don't think those sides are straight in the 'real' model) I'd love to see what you could do if you weren't trying to add an interior. (which is done very nicely, by the way - it's sort of like a smoother, more refined version of how I imagine TLG would've done it)

Maybe it's just because, as a dedicated MOCer, I'm not too crazy about most of the sets and can just build whatever I want however I like it, but I don't find myself desiring those models that much. I just drool while looking at all the people getting paid to play with an infinite supply of LEGO. See?
  7. That set looks incredible. All the minfigs look great...except for Salacious and Jabba. Something about them seems...wrong. I guess I just don't really like the style of printing they've used for Jabba. Nevertheless, I think it's an improvement over the old one. This set's a definite buy for me.

  9. This reminds me of my own behavior in Isla Paradisa. I had really hoped to get a Night Action, but when I drew Cop, I had no idea how to behave behind the scenes. I know I allowed Tammo to pretty much know that I had a Night Action in the middle of Day 1, all because I didn't want to lie when he asked me if I had a Night Action. (in retrospect, I could've just acted suspicious at how he was fishing for actions, but...)

I was trying to be active, but I kept checking in right after other people had said everything worth saying. I guess the success of my activity in Gotham Mafia made me try too hard to say something when there wasn't really anything to be said. I think my downfall started due to lack of communication on our part; Hinck's telling me that Pie claimed to have targeted me really caught me by surprise. Thanks for the great game, Pandufus. Especially the graphics, which were beautiful.

  19. Besides, these battles are better than anagrams. I actually think battles involving massed troops are a good idea, and I plan to include at least one in a future quest. I'll be using slightly different battle mechanics to make the battle more strategy-oriented, though.
