Emi, here! Does anyone else find it hilarious that def is playing the character that looks almost like Blutziegel? -
I usually just back out and stand at the edge of the trees until that phase ends. Or, you can stand at the one little middle area between the radiating attacks from the closest two totem poles and the boss, so that you don't get hit by any of them, but I haven't gotten the hang of it, since I've only been there a few times. Really, that's probably the only attack that even comes close to threatening you. The dungeon is easier than a Spider Den if you know what you're doing, though I'd rather do a Snake Pit for the guaranteed Speed Pot.

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share

QM Note: Spag (Kenghis Ghan) can't attack the elves with the Slice N Dice yet, since they're still in the river, Stunned, due to Arasmyth's electrocution. I will assume that Xander (posades) will run around to the North-East Tower or East Wall. Also, as you'll see, Alexandre (Capt.JohnPaul) rolled a Shield. He could only protect himself next Round, since it would be utterly ridiculous to assume that he could protect those on the East Wall with his shield. He will also be unable to protect Xander (posades), since there is an elf between them in the middle of a narrow passage. Results of Round Thirteen of the Battle for Bric'Bay Fort: William Harkenshire rides to the South West Wall. Xander Unth'or vs. Elven Scout A - Shield >Arthur Justus Regulus VII and Isabella del Toboso (Catapult) vs. Pike Elf A -Critical Hit Arasmyth RuGard reloads the Hiyaaaaaa Hwacha. >Althior Emorith vs. Elven Engineer B - Damage Spag Bitterstalk operates the Slice N Dice Blockade. Alexandre le Chevalier vs. Elven Scout A - Shield With the enemies to the West all but defeated, William, you begin to move to assist the other heroes. Xander, you move towards Scout A and go into a Frenzy, dealing 19 Damage. Arthur and Isabella, you continue to pound the enemy with smaller stones. Arasmyth, you reload the Hwacha. Althior, you try to cast a spell at Engineer B, but he manages to dodge, despite being in a river. Luckily, you're far enough away that he can't deal any Damage to you. Spag, you continue to operate the Slice N Dice. Alexandre, you rush down to engage Scout A, but, seeing him charge up the stairs, you decide it would be best for you to crouch behind your shield and take up the Sentinel position, protecting yourself from harm during the next Round. "Sir! All the elves in the river continue to advance, and will exit the river after the next Round." The battle continues... Note: The Hiyaaaaaa Hwacha must take a Turn after each attack to reload - this need can be eliminated by assigning a second Operator to the weapon. I've started hosting all my non-flickr photos on Photobucket. Embedding takes a few more clicks than it does with Brickshelf, but it's not as annoying with the code as flickr is.

Empire's artwork should be something Cloud City- or Hoth-centric. Me, I think they should do the scene from the poster in which Han kisses Leia, Gone with the Wind-style. (not that I'm a huge fan of kisses in movies, but that is such an iconic image)

Minor bump and double post. Build 122 came out the other day. Both new dungeons are amazing. I've been to the Forbidden Jungle three times now, and it's pretty fun, even if I can rush it in about five minutes with a Level 5 Necro. (mostly because of the enemies that throw Hallucinate bullets - no more need for Magic Mushrooms!) (and on that note, I have a Robe of the Tlatoani if anyone wants to buy that) The Ocean Trench I've only been to twice, but the oxygen level adds a nice extra thing to worry about. And the updates to existing dungeons look awesome, even if the new walls in the Snake Pit are a little bit annoying because they confine the space I can circle Stheno in. (and it's not like I usually need cover) My Necro died after a lifetime of nine days the other day, and I'm retraining a new one, but I think I might suicide it if I don't get a good roll and try some Fame farming with other classes. The guild needs more Guild Fame, I'm a little tired of Necro, and I figure it can't hurt to try to get an orange star and Rank 39.

As far as I know, yes, they can. I've considered it many times, I've just never had an appropriate challenge to add it to. (though that will change soon )

Heroica RPG - Quest#14: The Family Recipe

Hurrah! Scary Hat is awesome. Thanks for the drumstick, by the way. If I haven't automatically done so already, I consume the Magic Chicken Drumstick, for +5 maximum Health. -
...and that is why the Mage is a purely offensive ranged class.

QM Note: Sorry, I've just had a busy couple of days. Update in two hours, at the most. -
Right click on the image and copy the URL of the image. (I forget what you select on Windows; on Mac it's 'Copy Image Address') Click the Insert Photo button ( ), paste the URL in the blank, and click 'Insert Image'. (make sure you don't have two 'http://'s in there, since there's already one in the blank)

What are you clicking on to try to post pictures? If I had to guess, I'd say you were trying to use the Gallery. EB doesn't host images, and only Staff can upload to the Gallery. You need to use another site such as Brickshelf, flickr, or Photobucket to host your images first, and then embed them here.

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM Note:Not without magic, no. Your Dear Leader can blow you to the other side of the fort with his Sapphire, or he could possibly set off a huge explosion under you using his Ruby and shoot you over there, or he could use his Opal, Garnet, or Emerald to build you an ice, rock, or wooden bridge to the other side. All for a realistic amount of Ether, of course. Also, since it's magic, I won't apply a Health penalty. If you were to, say, try to save a turn by being launched from the catapult to the other side, I'd probably Knock you Out. (unless Althior applied a cushioning gust of Wind, but if he does that, he might as well blow you across in the first place) Otherwise, you have to walk down to the ground floor and through the middle of the fort, which would take 4 Turns. -

GM Note:Of course. Any special abilities or weapons you might have are fair game. Besides, Confused is funny. Results of Round One of Durkon vs. Nur: >Durkon vs. En Sabah Nur - Shield >En Sabah Nur casts Confused on Durkon. The battle begins, Durkon, and you summon your greatest reserves of magical power and energy in your effort to defeat your foe. Your magic power overflows in a Magic Burst, and you watch it lance out towards Nur in the form of lightning that deals 4 Lightning Elemental Damage. Will you all come to my party if Superman is there?
-
AJR7, Do you really think my Lord would be stupid enough to send you a letter that would have to bear his name and come with a PNG image of his face? That would totally ruin his dramatic reveal during the final wave at the end of the Quest. And that would make him MegaBlokin' mad, especially after all the Gold he spend for a world-famous composer to write up his personal score to be played during the dramatic revelation.
