  1. It does seem to make sense that way, but in quests, heroes always take halved Damage in the Back Row, unless it is noted that the enemy ignores Rows, even if the enemy attacks with magic or with a ranged weapon.
  2. Oh, come now. Let's not pretend that we didn't know based on past situations that there would be suspects and lynches. She knew full well that there would be. (and if she didn't then she really is a Templie who doesn't know what she's doing) And like I said, she should expect to be suspected. That's not what's suspicious. What's suspicious is that she doesn't want us to suspect her and told us not to suspect her, defending herself against suspicion before anyone had accused her.
  3. GM #11254 Note:Because the target is in the Back Row, too, and he should only take half Damage.
  4. GM #11254 Note: K-nut incorrectly calculated the results of the last Round. Durkon (RPGer) should have dealt 1 Damage and Ollin (Mibbiwocket) should have dealt 3 Damage. That battle should still be going on. RPGer, your challenge is invalid, as you are already currently battling Mibbiwocket. Briksandparts, your challenge is valid, but RPGer must finish his current battle before accepting the challenge.
  5. Yeah. Both used ranged attacks from the Back Row, so they should have dealt 1 Damage and 3 Damage. Both should still be up and fighting.
  6. I was sure I asked this before, but I've forgotten the answer. How does the Dread Hat ( ) affect Free Hits?
  7. QM Note:Nope. The elves never got past the river, thanks to Althior.
  8. Of course. That's one of the benefits of laying everything out and bringing forward suspicions early in the Day. Yasu will have more than enough time to make a convincing defense. (and if she doesn't, at this time, I know where my vote's going)
  9. I think it should be something to be used only as a last resort, if there is absolutely nothing to go on. Otherwise, you hand the decision of who to kill first to the Scum and deprive yourself of a chance to analyze voting patterns. I'm sure it's not impossible that if that was the statement of an inexperienced Scum, it was posted before consulting any more experienced members of the Scum. I do realize that there are some inexperienced and paranoid Townies Templies. And that was not the rule of thumb on which I based my conclusion. I don't think that Yasu was trying to act like a Templie when she told us not to suspect her. I think that she was afraid of being suspected. Basically, my train of thought went like this: Yasu is afraid of suspicion. True Townies don't need to act like Townies and try to act in a way that avoids suspicion. Townies realize that every Townie should suspect everyone else at this point in the situation. (unless god specifically tells them they can trust someone) Therefore, Townies shouldn't be afraid of being suspected. Townies shouldn't be afraid of being suspected, and Yasu is afraid of being suspected, therefore, Yasu's behavior is not that of a Townie. All that does, of course, assume that Yasu knows what she's doing. It wouldn't be the first and I'm sure it wouldn't be the last time in these situations if she was lynched for that and it turned out that she was merely a Templie who didn't know what she was doing. However, it is something to consider if anything else comes up against Yasu, and, if the time to vote comes and there's nothing else to go on, it's better to risk losing a Templie that doesn't know what she's doing than a Templie that does.
  10. So you meant to say that Yasu's statement isn't concrete evidence? Yeah, I agree with that. It's the only thing that's come close to setting off alarms on my Scumdar, though. (not that I myself am experienced enough to claim to have an accurate Scumdar, and it's still very early in the Day) Ah, okay.
  11. Ah, yes, that's something else I forgot to note: Townies shouldn't be afraid of suspicion. If they just be themselves, they'll most likely appear Townie since they are Townie. They should know that suspicion is the only way to root out the Scum and realize that true Townies initially suspect everyone other than themselves. (unless god specifically tells them that they can trust someone else, of course) They should expect to be suspected and realize that there is no reason for them to fear suspicion. They don't need to try to act in a way that avoids suspicion. If they need to try to act innocent, they're guilty. It doesn't seem that way to me. Were it said out of eagerness, it would be something along the lines of 'Woohoo! I'm so excited* that we're finally starting. I'm going to be offline asleep from <time> to <time>, but after that, I'm ready to go kill some Scum!'*Excited to start being a lynch mob? As if this were some sort of game. How is my note vague?
  12. I suppose that, technically, I shouldn't use it as evidence of scumminess, but my character is, technically, aware of what was said I was around when it was said and I was in this building. Either way, I think it's something to consider when the time to vote comes.
  13. You can also start another account. I have two flickr accounts.
  14. Looks like we're going to have to do this the messy way: lynch mob. No, wait, I already knew that. I'm not stupid enough to think that this situation wouldn't end up this way, like so many situations before it. Evidently, the situation is messing with my head, because I have the urge to scold myself for 'metagaming', as if this situation were a game. So, I suppose I'll just go ahead and give another typical response: Let's catch those Scum! How dare they plot against us! Anybody got any leads? I'd like to call attention to this statement made while we were gathering together. It's not much, but it seemed slightly suspicious: It would have been more than sufficient for Yasu to merely state that he'd be offline asleep during part of the Day. However, he goes beyond that to tell us not to suspect him. There are lots who aren't that active during some parts of the Day in these situations. It seems to me that Yasu is trying very hard to make sure that there's nothing we can accuse him of, to the point of telling us that there's no reason to suspect him before anyone has suspected him for a reason that's not that suspicious at this point in the situation. Just thought I'd throw that out there since that statement stood out to me.
  15. Photobucket's a good choice. MOCpages has really awful quality.

  17. QM Note: Sorry. I had originally had the battle continuing, and I remembered that you were Mounted, so I changed the outcome, but I forgot to update the party list. I'll fix it as soon as I have more time.
  18. Even if we already have a separate discussion topic, to answer this question, Star Wars packaging art is always the same for all products licensed by Lucasfilm. Hasbro and TLG will both use a variation of this artwork. (TLG will, in all likelihood, have it stretched across the top of its boxes with the logo in the upper-left corner, as usual)
  19. I attack Succubus from the Back Row.
  20. I don't mind, as long as there's lots of loot and XP.
  21. Results of Round Fourteen of the Battle for Bric'Bay Fort: William Harkenshire rides to the South-East Wall. Xander Unth'or moves to the North-West Tower. >Arthur Justus Regulus VII and Isabella del Toboso (Catapult) vs. Pike Elf A - Hit Arasmyth RuGard does nothing. >Althior Emorith vs. Elven Engineer B - Shield Spag Bitterstalk operates the Slice N Dice Blockade. Alexandre le Chevalier vs. Elven Scout A - Hit All Free Hits deal no Damage as all non-targeted enemies are not in range of any heroes. William, you continue your ride towards the East Wall, and, Xander, you move along the wall towards the action. Arthur and Isabella, your shot is successful once again, and the elves continue to lose Health. Arasmyth, you decide to rest, while, Althior, your power overflows in a Magic Burst that does 20 Fire Elemental Damage, wreaking havoc on the elven ranks at up to 40 Damage. Spag, you continue to operate the Slice N Dice. Alexandre, you step forward to finish what Xander started, landing a Hit at 4 Damage that finishes Scout A. THE BATTLE IS VICTORIOUS! All party members gain a Level of XP, except for Althior and Xander, who gain half a level, so update your signatures accordingly. The enemies drop 2 Potions, 40 Gold, and 2 Fire Bombs. Excellent work."
  22. QM Note:Hmm... Creative solution, but I think that realistically the horse would have to stop and/or slow down to trample enemies effectively and safely instead of continuing to run at full speed, so you still wouldn't be able to move and attack.
  23. Thanks for the Phoenix Essence, Cinna. I whisper to the party, I say we leave him here. Better than becoming undead. We could always try to get him back in battle later.
  24. QM Note:Theoretically, were this a real battle, yes. However, I'm really trying to keep this simple (even though I've already gone beyond that ), so I say that, no, you may only move if you don't attack, and attack if you don't move. The horses don't let you move and attack. You still have to follow the same movement rules. The horses just get you to where you want to be faster.
  25. QM Note:Okay, replayed.
