Ah, great, another contest! This time I will win! The firetruck I am entering is a model I made some time ago shortly after the release of the new Firestation and has been discussed here on Eurobricks in this thread. It is, although equipped with a ladder, still a regular firetruck as used by the firedepartment in my homecity of Amsterdam Holland. (Click to enlarge) May the best firetrucker win! :-)

Hello community, While browsing Brickshelf I came across this great little bulldozer: it uses some inventive techniques and very clever construction details and combined with a good colorscheme it works out pretty well, I think. I thought I might as well share it with the community, so here it is: See for yourself. Picture is link to Brickshelf gallery, enjoy!

I understand you! (Or am I not supposed to say that? :-D ) I believe the Lego moviemakerset from a couple of years ago came with some practical software for making movies. I do not own the set, but perhaps one can download this program somewhere? Good luck in movie making and make sure to show your film after completion.

Thanks, fellow citizen, for this great review (If only I had snagged some of those 3D glasses at the Legoland Windsor movie theater last month... :-( ) I like how Lego made use of that white "crowsnest part" to attach the wheel to the axle. Good parts pack this one, but I will wait for the Bulldozer to come out to acquire some of those new motors. :-)

FINALLY I got it! :'-) :'-) My copy of the 8421 Technic Crane (why does it never go on sale here in Holland??) Anyway, I bought it off some people who gave up putting the set together after buying it for their 9 (!) year old son last year. It is complete, the parts are sorted by color by the seller and it came with unused stickersheet. Box and instructions included, of course, and even six batteries. All this for just 75 euro's. :-)

Mosaic pieces - where to get best price?

Can you post a link to the S@H offer? Or is it US only, I can't find it on shop at home Europe. Thanks. -
Mosaic pieces - where to get best price?
simonwillems replied to Minifig Lecturer's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I recently bought ten of those 90 piece bags in Legoland Windsor for only 4,50 euro a bag. 900 1x1 pieces for 4,5 euro, great deal! So yes there is a cheaper way, it just depends on where you live. -
I saw this one on brickshelf as well and was going to post it but didn't found the time... Great someone else did. This indeed is a good collection of pirates, I will not consider buying it as a whole but I am interested in the 6250 Crossbone Clipper. Let's wait and see how it turns out.

I just bought a second hand copy of set nr 4549 in dusty but very good condition, it looks like the set has never been disassembled so after a little cleaning it will look as new again. It has all stickers, perfect instruction booklet and the front and back cover of the original box 40 euros, so really cheap, on BL it will set you back a fortune... X-D

Congratulations to the winner with his six-wide policecar I never doubted the six wide winningpotential but still had the urge of submitting an eight-wide van to the contest... *skull* and I actually received some votes: thanks for that, community! I can't wait for the firetrucks contest to begin!

Yet another reason NOT to buy the 2007 playsets
simonwillems replied to Zarkan's topic in LEGO Action Figures
If I understand you correctly you are not so much troubled by lego-quality issues, but merely by some discordancies involving the storyline. Therefor I don't think the title of this thread is subtitled the right way. Now let's face it: In my Lego-collection (not involving Bionicle) I own about 1000 minifigures, more than half of these figs have the same face: the standard lego grin pattern. Never had any problems with that... I understand your rage, but when put in perspective I would say: live with it or leave the Bionicle playsets sets on the storeshelfs where they belong (IMO). ;-) -
Welcome, Marius, to Eurobricks! How nice to welcome yet another Dutch member to our friendly forum, I am sure you will enjoy it here. Do you have any creations to show to the community? :-)

I spent some days in Germany and visited the Legostore in Cologne there. I bought a My Own train expansion package to switch the color of my Large-train-engine-with-tender from black to green (those polybags were only 2.99 a piece) Furthermore ten blue Model Team doors in a polybag. As usual I was looking for a dusty old toystore and I found one along the river Rhine, that is where I bought this Indian in a "canoe" and the Oasis Ambush: (click) I already owned the Oasis Ambush, but this oe in Germany included a casette tape with a Johnny Thunder Story on it, quite nice to have and a good storyline.
