I found a pic of the instructionbooklet of the new policestation 7744, especially it's interior. I like the one-way-window idea in the interrogation room! Warning, Large pics! The link

LEGO Group in Deal With Volkswagen
simonwillems replied to legomilk's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Great model, I'll be buying this when it gets discounted somewhere.... Actually the cars in the Legolandparks are much smaller than this Volkswagen. They fit inside it actually, this thing is 22 studs wide (at least the front bumper is) and the park-cars are no more than 10 or 12 studs. -

It makes me wonder as well...?..... -
You are most welcome, make sure to bring a torch though.... X-D

Nice technique! These new sloped pieces seem to invest all sets Lego came up with lately, but it seems as quantities of those pieces rise different ideas of what to do with them seem to pop up as well. I must try this in a Tudor house some day.

That looks like a reasonably priced lot, especially with the current euro-dollar exchange rate, lots of useful sails, masts and other pieces. The seller however does not ship to Europe, that's where it ends for me.... -
It is not the physical appearance that stops me from buying things like this (I haven't yet, don't worry) but the fact that is not Lego. I am a Lego collector, I collect Lego, not just pirate related toys. This pirateship surely is a lot of fun if you are looking for a pirateship out of constructable pieces, so Joey Lock it's great to read you having a good time with it. :-)

Nice experiment going on here. I had the same problem with my wing-pieces, one out of two from the same set yellowed badly, the other one did not. Strange. However I have the perfect solution to your problem, it worked for me: buy some new wings of Bricklink, they are only 7 cents a piece.... :-D

As promised here are some pictures taken 'at night' showing all 9 volt lights I have built in this layout. I used a total of eight lightunits, three with single and five with twin lights, most of them covered with this reflection piece. For power I used a second speed regulator next to the one powering the trains Some pictures worked out better then other ones, but is very hard to take some not-blurry pictures when holding the camera. Better result can be achieved when letting the camera rest on (in this case) the street. The first two pictures in the folder are made with flash in night-modus (no photoshop!) the rest in plain darkness. Enjoy! Indeed! Thanks for the promotion guys! ;-) I expanded the fleet some more lately, must take some pictures of that as well some day....

Excellent! *y*

Very nice car! I love the use of those tiles to make it studless, and the wheels look good as well being just the right size. Like Asuka I can also recommend the 'tape-piece' to use as a Mercedes-sign, it looks very good and I believe those pieces are not that expensive to buy on Bricklink. My only point of criticism would be the taillights: I don't think they do the rest of your vehicle justice, perhaps you can place them on a 1x6 plate with an equally designed snot technique as used in the front of the car? I must get around building some road-rail vehicles myself because I really like the category! :-)

Welcome to Eurobricks Rebelrock! What a very nice steamroller/flamethrower you have created here. Inventive use of those round plates to make the smoke coming out of the chimney, it looks very realistic. Keep on steaming! *y*

I'm sorry to disappoint you here, but I think it is the same design as used in this train set, still nice though. :-)

Well... no wonder that bird got extinct, there's only one Flash.... :-D Great lawnmower, and quite simple to make as well.

Thanks for all the kind words, really appreciated :-$ I think I have reached the limit of my rockpieces, grey, green and black bricks... So there will be little expanding, maybe I'll adjust some of the houses in the future. As to studying, I have been quite occupied studying Criminology lately as I have to take some tests the upcoming week. It's a tough study, but worth the effort. My firetruck had to part with some grey/bley tiles for the sake of my street and the railway crossings, so it stands abused on a shelf somewhere... :-/ The reason I didn't include a firestation is the limited room at the side of the road on the rocks: there is only the sidewalks and an 8 wide strip to build on. It is not visible in the pictures, but Marketstreet actually sticks out quite a bit on the backside of the layout. That's because I bought this set when I had finished building the rocks. So any firecar would stick out to much when in the garage.... Some other time perhaps.

Folder not yet public :-( I'll check it out later on. Great wagons especially the red "LEGO-one" with the inclining doors, very clever and less bulky than the regular traindoors. I have seen those big chrome pieces in that horrible set, but never thought they could be put to such a clever use in that beautiful tankerwagon of yours, I'll consider buying some off bricklink (if reasonably priced). I just love the timbered boxcar, that must have been some really tricky building process. Why is your 9 volt train running on 12 volt rails with 9 volt wheels? I know I mixed it up the other way round in my layout, letting my 4,5 v run on 9 v tracks, but still...

Hello All, I hereby present my most recent town. I have been a little less active lately on EB, but I was either busy studying or building this layout, and I think it has turned out pretty well. This is my first time to include 9 volt/4,5 volt trains in a layout and I had great fun constructing the tunnel with lots of technic beams and other pieces I do not use very frequently such as batteryboxes and even a 4,5 v batterytender, just to gain some height for the trains to fit underneath. The roadplates forming the roof of the tunnel can hold quite some weight, and I built some heavy houses on top of them, including Market Street. All with an Amsterdam-feeling. With all the harborplates I bought recently I made the cargo-area for the freighttrains to 'dock' and deliver their goods. My intention was to create 'two different worlds' in one layout, one of a busy looking townstreet and one with a more industrial feeling, separated by a height difference. In most of the houses I made 9 volt lights, powered by an extra speed regulator as you can see in one picture: showing many wires... I will take some midnight pictures soon to display this feature. Comments are very welcome of course! The entire Brickshelf Gallery

Being a university student, I moved out of my parents house and my Lego collection remains there. I live in very small room in Amsterdam now and bought that showcase to display some Legosets in my room without having to dust them every once in a while. :-)

I use the paintbrush as well, no disused ones though, brand new ones! Just don't brush any window panes because that leaves scratches. No panes in Piratesets, so no problem! I never use canned air, why would one pay money just to get.... air..? (I see your point though, being compressed and all *sweet* )

Nice idea, making those legs with teeth. I prefer the original Lego minifigs though because the proportions look a bit odd. Don't worry, those are not your German language skills letting you down, but his... He says: "a please/here you are yes" Doesn't make sense whatsoever ;-)

On monday I bought an original Lego display box/showcase. Yellow coloured and with the original stickers. This is quite a big thing, I measured it can hold two standard roadplates and two 8x32 baseplates. Just like the one in the picture, which I found on Brickshelf, mine did not came with the 8880, just with some dust... I rode it home on the back of my bicycle....
